Yes. They are present at tourist sites.

It's hard work, so the guys are all young and fit. Many are drop-dead gorgeous.

I saw them in Kyoto last month and was tempted. The view from behind would be very erotic indeed, especially as some wear short white pants. Yum!!!!

But the wait for a ride was too long.

yep, they definitely dress to show off with their tight pants/shorts. At the main tourist temple site in Tokyo there are many to choose from. When I was there admiring them I certainly wondered what they might be willing to do

They also love to take photos of you in front of different stops along the way. As far as gay for pay, I really doubt it. They work very long hours and it’s hard work, the last thing they’d be interested in is having sex with someone just for money. I’m assuming they are well-paid because of the long hours. 

I definitely recommend doing it - one of the best things I’ve done on any trip, and it gets you away from the tourist crowds, you learn a little history and it’s a really fun time. In Kyoto, my driver took me down a special path in the bamboo forest away from the crowds and took some amazing photos of me. 

If you are fantasizing about them though, Re:Born has costumes you can ask the boys to wear and I think one of them is a rickshaw driver. You might even get him to pull you around the room a bit if you’re lucky.
