I remember 15-20 years or so ago when the free gay mags used to include maps, there were always complaints that they were either not up to date or venues were not quite in the right location. But the problem then was that so much on the gay scene was changing almost monthly and the mags had no one on site to go around checking. From what I read here things seem to be a bit more stable now, but I am certainly not the person to confirm that.
