Wow. Another great, and extremely hot dark comedy now playing in a theater near you (hopefully) is Twinless. There's even a gay sex scene involving gorgeous heart-throb Dylan O'Brien. And it has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. What more could one ask for?

I saw the film during Sundance.  It is worth seeing in a theater with audience reaction. 

I saw it twice, and not for the naked scenes.  That's how much I liked it.  

FYI, Those images above were pirated during Sundance.  

I recommend not reading anything about the film, such as reviews that discuss the plot.  Better to go in knowing nothing.

IMHO, Dylan O'Brien will win a SAG and Independent Spirit award for his acting.    

I plan to see it again in one of our local theaters, soon.

My husband's like that--doesn't want to know anything about a movie other than the genre and Rotten Tomatoes rating before seeing the movie. I actually prefer to know plots before-hand. As you noted, one can enjoy a movie even though one knows the plot. Why else would one watch a movie (or play, or musical, or opera) multiple times, even when one knows what will happen? The only movie I can think of in which I appreciated not knowing the plot in advance was The Crying Game.
