If price was right I wouldn't mind to stand on short haul flights like Munich -Prague or Bangkok-Phnom Penh. Sydney - London is different matter unicorn and Keithambrose 2 Quote

You are correct...I didn't think about that when I was listing companies I avoid. Will be adding Unilever to my list of products to avoid in light of their recent attempt to silence Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Company was founded on a principle of social activism and when the two partners agreed to sell the business to Unilever that was specifically written into the contract. However, Unilever has recently tried to backtrack on that agreement and exert more control on what Ben & Jerry's can say or do in the way of social activism. Ben & Jerry's has actually filed a lawsuit for breach of contract. Guess Unilever doesn't like or is afraid of the criticism of Trump by Ben & Jerry's. Another example of corporations tucking their tails between their legs and sucking up to the bully. I just don't get it. splinter1949, unicorn, FunFifties and 2 others 5 Quote
PeterRS Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I only once had Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. I know it is hugely popular but I just didn't like it much. And that's the only reason I would not buy it. Nothing to do with Unilever. Not sure if there is anything against Movenpick ice cream which I love, but it is just too expensive, more so in Bangkok than Haagen Dazs! Quote

I love Hagen Dazs but only 3 traditional flavors - vanilla, strawberry and coffee. All those newish invention are over sweetened crap and this comes from me who still puts 2 teaspoons of sugar into glass of tea. Ruthrieston 1 Quote
