I watched some of her shows at the Black Cap in Camden Town(London) more than fifty years ago. I remember being very entertained. Mesmerised even as it was the first gay pub I went into, and I was under the age of consent at the time.

It isn’t available outside of Prime UK. Last time I checked the UK was not the centre of the universe and non-Brits know how to navigate the web. The OP is quite a distance away and stream options vary regionally. One way to search, the one I used to feed back info to him about its access, is to use the JustWatch app search for your region. So now it’s also clear Google has its limits like any platform.

Hopefully  not too much more than 50 years ago, as the age of consent  only arrived in 1967!

Of course it's a dig, and applies to more than you. If you were broadening your horizons you wouldn't have wasted time entering an opinion on what sits where on the insult scale. Taking a day off is allowed. So is a new subforum on instant overreactivity to Olddaddy that a handful of readers might follow while the majority of us can ignore obsessional attention-seeking irelevant repetitive noncreative cliché commentary. It would be boring as the repetitive sidebar of chatter at a dinner party and it’s boring here. A membership of thousands is not held in thrall by the same invariant centre stage panel of peanut gallerists, and new potential  members scouting for meaningful dialogue are put off by it. Just use your heads assessing the paltry degree of emoticons entered.

You’re still tiresomely boring and that just about made me narcoleptic, whether you need to comment on every Olddaddy post to try to make yourself look good in comparison and the popular dinner guest, or on my commentary on the tiresome way you need to comment on every Olddaddy post as if your assessment actually matters. You and a few others have the type of chatroom Tourette’s that consistently throws off the interesting content of a thread and attempts to put all the light on you and sucks up all the energy in the room. All I’m suggesting is that not everybody welcomes it. At least my post inspired you to think through a concept a tad; but still boring. Yet no big surprise a control freak with unimpressive agency outside of this context and having exhausted all potential of comic material thousands of chatroom pages ago needs to dictate word count. Can’t we just have a pinned account of a nobody’s rule book that most can choose to ignore? That’s a rhetorical question in case anybody has been too slow to have your number.

Better yet, opt out of reading the forum at all for extended periods of time. You can toggle Ignore on one or two posters but still get infinite prompts that you have chosen it, evidence that the most ignorable candidates are persistently up to no good and vying for content dominance. Such is chatroom life. Little to see here for most folks.

Olddaddy is not the problem. A few geezers struggling for recognition and obsessed with hounding him are the problem. I would go as far as to assert that Olddaddy is comparatively real and has a life.

Casual or not, why would thousands of forum members be interested in boring  banter that would be more appropriately peppering a select email chain? This isn’t Facebook. It’s annnoying even if you delusionally think it’s cute and pathetically imagine it upticks a meaningful following. It adds nothing but pads out volume of drivel. I don’t see evidence that he reciprocates teasing or it qualitatively enhances his wellbeing. It all reflects that you gluttonously seek the spotlight. Now that we know what you are going to write about his style, an inside (as you claim but little more than BS) tiresome joke whose value expired thousands of posts ago, every single time he posts something, can’t we just be left to assume the wording and tone of the text diarrhea prompted by your pathologically stimmed grey matter and be spared it?
