In this case, i am sorry but that is rubbish! Why should two posters deserve a spanking when all one has done is report percisely what was written in the media and the other has called him out for being a liar? Sometimes your sitting on the fence is misplaced! I have never doubted @unicorn's qualifications. I myself am from a very medical family as I have pointed out here before. My grandfather, father, all my uncles, brother, sister, niece and two of my cousins are members of the medical profession and my late brother-in-law was in charge of a hospital for the mentally challenged. I have nothing but praise for those working in the profession. But I will not have one poster call me a liar when it is perfectly plain that i did no such thing! Quote
Members unicorn Posted 16 hours ago Members Posted 16 hours ago I never accused @PeterRS of lying. I found his posts, however, ambiguous in their meaning and easy to misinterpret. If what he meant to say was that the parents erred in NOT following professionals' advice, then we agree completely in this matter. Quote

jimmie50 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I have no idea about the accuracy of the news article, but I was reading Daily Beast online and they reported that Rob Reiner had mentioned to a few close friends after the argument at Conan O'Brien's holiday party and Nick was asked to leave that he was a little afraid of Nick and concerned for his safety. The article did not provide names of these close friends also in attendance at the party. That would contradict previous reports that while they were concerned about Nick and his well-being, there was no hint that he could become violent. I suppose the truth is somewhere in between, but we will never really know. Quote

I realize its curiosity to understand the reason behind such a senseless family tragedy, but lets leave it to the experts and not speculate. I am sure the answer is somewhere between our imaginations and reality ? Quote
