Olddaddy Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago One thing I have to work on when I arrive in Thailand for my trips is the hours , sleep💤 and time 🕕 I have found nowadays unlike 20 years ago ,guys(boys) are available 24 hours from the apps so no need to stay up late or early hours anymore I usually rise at 4am in Australia,go to gym , then start work at 6am and bed by 8pm Now I did that last time when I was last in Thailand and it worked well, I had more energy, boys were cheaper and available, and believe it or not I had many boys messaging me at odd hours such as 730am Would you describe yourself as a day or night person?☀️🌘🌙 When your in Thailand are you up early hours or late afternoon? vinapu 1 Quote
TMax Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Definitely a day person, up at 6am to get ready for breakfast, after breakfast it's the gym (if the hotel has one) or a nice long walk if the hotel doesn't have a gym. Usually head off on my daily excursions around 9:30 / 10am ish (which includes afternoon massage and fun) and back to hotel by 5:30 / 6pm ish for shower and change then off for dinner and a few drinks. Bed time is usually by 10pm then repeat the next day, I'm just not a bar or show person so relatively early nights give me the rest for the following day. If the hotel has a pool I may make an hour or so available for a swim in the afternoon, especially on days when not much is planned. The main change to that schedule is if I'm heading off for a day trip out of Bangkok, then it will be off after breakfast and back to hotel around 6:30 / 7pm ish, then shower and out for dinner etc. Olddaddy and vinapu 2 Quote
jimmie50 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I am definitely a day person. For more than 30 years I was up at 5:30am and at school by 6:30am. Bed time was usually 11pm. I tried to get at least six hours of sleep a night, but could function with five for several days if necessary. Since I retired, my body is just so accustomed to those hours I routinely wake up at 5:30am. Once I adjusted to the time difference between Denver and Bangkok last October, I followed that same routine. My schedule was very similar to @TMax. I enjoyed starting my day with a nice breakfast. Not so much of a gym person, but would go for a nice walk or swim during the day. While I am not much of a bar/club person, I did manage to stay out late while in Bangkok to experience some of the nightlife. I will probably do the same on my trip in February, although not on a nightly basis. mauRICE and TMax 2 Quote

Were you the discipline mistress or in some other supervisory position? At what time did school start proper? And is it the same throughout the US or unique to your state and/or the type of school (state vs private, religious school, etc)? I was a day scholar and a night owl until I left for the UK at 16 for my Sixth Form. Boarding school was rigid and stressful in some ways but a lot of fun in other ways. Since then I've always been a day person and am in bed by 10.30 most nights. Olddaddy 1 Quote

Many times boys at 7.30 am asked me if we should take a shower and go eat some breakfast . As for your question on vacation I like to rise early and stay active deep into night. result of that is that afternoon hours are the worst for me as I feel tired and sleepy, specially between 6 and 9 pm. At home, more or less the same Quote
