I would personally love the idea of spending a couple hours prowling Zona Colonial or the parks for a sexy hustler by myself or with a slut buddy. I understand the risks involved with that but with the massive street cruising scene in SD I’m sure some of you must have some experience with it?

I did years ago before Grindr - my first two trips here, probably around 2007 (first time). I stayed in an apartment rented by this guy named Anthony, not sure if it’s the same Anthony who is now a provider. One day, a guy was standing outside and somehow we negotiated him coming up. Super hot guy, really big dick (of course) and he liked to fuck in front of the window. I had his number and no cell phones back then, so I went across the street to an internet cafe that also had phones and called him when I wanted to meet. Met a few other guys on the street. One sort of picked me up but I didn’t realize he was a hustler (back then I could also get free sex) - afterwards, he asked me for 2,000 pesos (which was a lot back then - I think I was paying 1,000). The “sex” was mediocre and not worth it.

There is a hotel on el Conde that used to have tables on the terrace overlooking el Conde. I met one guy there with a beautiful dick and nice bubble butt. He was on the younger side, maybe 18 or 19, very sweet, great fuck, and asked for 1,000, but I gave him 1,500 because it was near the end of my stay and he was so hot.

I also met a guy in Parque Colon who offered his services as a tour guide. He was great. Some guys want that for one hour now. He even brought me a Dominican breakfast one day. I really wish I had his contact information.

On my next trip, I originally booked a different apartment (Anthony was out of the apartment renting business). I didn’t like it so I changed to the hotel on el Conde with the terrace. One day I was out on the terrace and a guy came to talk to me. He wanted to fuck. I told him he needed ID. He gave me some complicated story about why he didn’t have an ID but told me he knew a hotel that rented rooms by the hour and told me how much it was. I went up to my room and got 500 pesos. I think the hotel was 250. We went to the hotel, I paid, he grabbed the change. Second red flag - the first was the no ID. He fucked me like crazy, hard, angry, rough (but also kind of hot) and then asked me how much I was going to give him. I told him he hadn’t mentioned money. He asked for some ridiculous amount, like 200 dollars. I told him I had to go back to my hotel. I knew once I got to the hotel, I could escape to the safety of my room. They would not let him come up without me paying first (they had a policy that you had to pay to bring guests up). He waited outside of the hotel. I immediately went up to my room and then called the front desk to tell them what was going on. I waited a few hours before I felt it was safe to go down and I saw that the police were stationed outside of the hotel. It was the closest call I have ever had. And I was very cautious for the rest of that trip - only going to Cine Lido and finally on my last night, hiring someone from Adam4Adam who was great.

I also frequented Cine Lido many times (including on this trip). It is one of my favorite places, but it’s not as much fun as it used to be. Used to be lots of big-dicked tops sitting there with their dicks out waiting for service. The last time I went (this past Sunday) it seemed to be very bottom-heavy. I sucked one older guy (same guy I sucked on my first visit this trip) - another young guy seemed to be interested, but when I reached out to touch him and was rejected, I left.
