Ian here Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Qantas are doing a sale and their direct fares are too good to pass up. I don't have much confidence they'll actually go ahead because due to the Iran situation. It will be my 1st time in Japan so I'm looking at basing myself in Tokyo and seeing as much as I can for a 2 week period. If anyone stayed at a Airbnb that they'd actually go back to anytime, I'd like to know. Reading previous posts, Airbnb's can be littered with land mines for newbies. Quote
Members Tomasian Posted 1 hour ago Members Posted 1 hour ago Im going there in two weeks. I booked most of my accommodations through Booking.com, where they have better rates than Airbnb. I booked a hotel room in Kyoto via Airbnb, but once the booking is confirmed, it revealed the name and address of the hotel, which on Booking.com is Au$12 p/n cheaper than Airbnb. The only thing I like about Airbnb is it gives you the option to pay it in four fortnightly payments. Ian here 1 Quote
