Comments welcome from anyone who has stayed at this relatively new hotel. Service, quality of the rooms and visitors to rooms? I had lunch there in May and the place looked quite nice.

Just left and will be back in a few weeks. Had a king room with a sort of patio outside. Very comfortable and good size room but the bathroom is amalgamated into the room (not the shower or toilet). Staff great. Didn’t bring anyone back so can’t comment, but I seriously doubt it would be a problem as lifts can be accessed without going directly past reception. Good pool. I’m already staying again, and would book in the future.

The pool does indeed look good. As a nice place to chill in the afternoon, in between adventures and nightlife. But I don't see any parasols in any of the photos I've seen of this hotel. Does this mean the only option you have is to lie by the pool in full sun? I would really like some shade.

Had several short stays at Voco Surawong since they opened a couple of months ago. Rooms are nice and of good size. Also I like the general vibe and design of the place. Breakfast is tasty with a wide selection and reasonable hours if you are not an early riser. The pool area was not too busy and great for chilling. Most of the deck chairs have no parasols placed next to them. There is however a row of 4-5 canaba umbrellas, each with two deckchairs underneath, so you can stay in the shade. It would be my preferred place to stay in Silom but they seem to have increased their rates quite a bit compared to earlier in the year.

I'll always remember it as the Ramada Tawana, a tour bus hotel filled with groups and a luggage all over the lobby and security standing at the elevator waiting to charge a joiner fee.... not that I ever stayed there, but went in the lobby a few times.

Maybe the older visitors remember it as the Sheraton, was before my time

I can't even sing, I was told I looked like an Osmond when I was younger though 🤷‍♂️
