Just had a quick trip to Rio, it has been a while since I went there, first time after the pandemic. Also, first time in May, all of my last visits were in Dec/Jan. Visited new Meio Mundo on Monday, with little expectation. As I expected the guys were not really my type (muscled guys), a chill place. I think it is my first time here, although I did think about going there before. Visited Point 202 on Wednesday, it was similar to my previous experiences there: the guys are not really my type, though I would definitely see some guys from 117 there on Wednesday. The main issue with 202 is that it can be very social, meaning the boys would socialize with the regulars and engage less with less frequent visitors, like tourists etc. Either way I managed to have fun with two 117 guys. Again, cheap, so I went for it. Ok sex, but good attitude, so I was happy. He kept asking me every time I am there, I kept dodging nicely lol Those are two memorable ones, I had a few more but don't remember the name, kinda tanned skin, tall typical brazilian face, sex was good in most cases, but look was not really the model like hot faces, which is something i used to see before. The unfortunate thing is that I had two not so good experiences this time. One was with Reyzinho. Black, muscular. I kinda liked him because he would come and kiss me so passionately but his tool was too big for me, so I didn't wanna try him. Weirdly, he even texts me now once a while even though I don't reply....I didn't know what I could have done, like maybe talking to the manager? I have no idea how they treat cases like this but I know they select boys carefully. In any case, I saw some guys arguing with the manager (pay desk) when they were leaving because of overcharge so I didn't feel like talking about it with the manager. Also, next day another guy was talking about Reyzinho at the reception but no idea what it was. I suspected it was about paying drinks for him because he bought a drink for him before leaving. Another bad apple was a guy from Sao Paolo, he frequents the Lagao apparently, short and muscular, on the pale side of skin tone. He said he kisses with tongue but when we went to room, he just had a dry kiss and went around without kissing. No more kissing. Never had this sorta attitude at 117, but i was like whatever. Anyway, maybe these two bad cases along with less guys I really liked, I didn't have the amazing experience I used to have there before. It is a lot less costly for me to go to Barcelona, which nowadays has a lot of good options, so if I include the travel cost, I ended up not really feeling like coming back to Rio. Maybe it will change but for now, i will stick to Europe for a while Interestingly, I saw some good looking guys on online websites. Like the model looking guys I used to see at 117, even though they were not the ones I know from the saunas. I kinda thought maybe the hot ones started using the online thing rather than the saunas. Maybe experienced guys here know better and can chime in. I had one very good hire from online. I think it was only 200 at his place, including massage, so it is very similar to the sauna rate if you include the room cost. Many were advertising for 300 but I can't have so many outside hires after getting some in the sauna, so the uncertainty of quality time when hiring from online really made me explore the online part far less, maybe I should have gone for online more

Yes it is a sauna for hire but not ideal. During my recent visit, I saw two guys on Sunday. Both of them were mediocre. I also met with a few guys in thermas Barcelona who were visiting from Madrid. Is there a place I can get a proper massage in Rio? I know some places offer sensual massage for 150 or 200 like spa H or solaryun, but I have a feeling that their skill is not that great. My goal is get a proper massage with strong pressure and if it is done by a hot guy, great then, even better if he is willing to do + for an extra. If not, I am just happy with a good massage. No outdoor places like on beach though.

Regarding the tips, I didn't wanna start a long discussion because we will never reach a consensus here. The reason is that our benchmark is very different for every person and the market is always changing. Also many people who paid less will not reveal what they paid because they get called cheap2charlie. So the information on this forum can be very tilted in terms of the actual pay. That's why I kept the tip part short in my review. If you ask me, compared to well established places in Bangkok, I felt like Pattaya was expensive. The min tip used to be 700 to 1500 in Bangkok before pandemic. I still found it expensive because my type is hard to find in Thailand. But I never hired after the pandemic in Bangkok so I wouldn't know the market. As far as I see from one place that has its min tip public, it is still 700 in Bangkok...so Pattaya should be lower because the cost of living in Pattaya is lower for the boys. But when I hired this time in Pattaya, it was a busy touristy season (Jan after opening from pandemic) so I don't know how the market was. If there are so many tourists who are willing to pay 1500 for extra ( full service) then yes the market is different and the boys won't accept lower amounts because another customer can give them that amount. But I doubt that amount would last after February. I know 1500 as a tip is high because the top boys offer the same thing on the app for 1500 or even lower. If you contact the spa manager over line and choose two guys and tell him you want them to fuck each other, of course they will say no. I mean being a bit sensible has a long way to go. Relax massage in Pattaya This place is close to the Boystown in Pattaya, on the main road, close to the intersection where the baht bus to Jomtien starts. It is right next to the turkish restaurant on that corner. You can find it on google map as well. Boys quality: I wanted to try the Sea massage, again from a recommendation here somewhere. But I didn't like the guys who were sitting in the front. I passed the Sea massage multiple times and also at the closing when almost all of the guys were outside chatting before heading home. So I was quite certain that I didn't have anyone of my type. I was a bit disappointed but when I passed the Sea massage, I saw some decent looking guys sitting in front of a place called Relax massage. They are dressed in black (pants) and white (t-shirt) and all looked quite nice. Most looked quite straight and that was actually the case after talking to them. I think the owner (a lady in the picture on the google map) has a good taste in men so she got some decent looking guys. Either way, oil massage is also 300 baht only so I thought I won't lose much so I decided to try it out. Soda Massage Jomtien review I went there following a recent review by a member (sorry i cannot locate it here). The place is located in the jomtien complex where all the bars and massage shops are. It is on the corner and one can locate it on google maps. Boys quality: Boys were sitting in front but many of them are flamboyant (more of?) bottoms, who are not my type. I do like more masculine and muscular guys so keep that in mind when you read my reviews. Many of them were not my type, some decent looking faces but the body is slim...But the oil massage is only 300 baht, so I wanted to try it. Strictly about massage shops in Pattaya by people who visited in 2023. I will put a sample review after this.

There are two types of massage places: you can choose boys and pay min tip. This kinda guarantees ES, so you need to tell your preferences such as top before choosing the boy. Most places have twinky guys if I understand it correctly, but places like Arena would specialize more muscular guys. Many places have a line account that publishes the photos and role of the boys. Would be efficient to contact via line first. Many of these places are in Silom and Sukhumvit area but I might be missing. This is good if you wanna have fun for sure. 2. The second type is where they look like a normal spa but with some or many or exclusively male therapists. Here depending on the therapist, you can reach an agreement on the tip and what you can do. Wholly on your discretion. I understand you cannot choose the guy unless you know the guy and name them when you book in advance. No minimum type, usually cheaper (like most massage places in Thailand). You can find them everywhere as long as you see the male therapists there but members here noted spas in Inthamara area, close to the Chatuchak market but many seem to exist in Silom as well. If you don't mind a good massage without sex for cheap, this option is good. Maybe other more experienced members can add more info with details.
