Yes it is a sauna for hire but not ideal. During my recent visit, I saw two guys on Sunday. Both of them were mediocre. I also met with a few guys in thermas Barcelona who were visiting from Madrid. They did not say anything good about the Madrid sauna either. The train from Madrid to Barcelona is really good these days. You can easily do a day trip and it's really cheap...you land next to thermas 😂

Is there a place I can get a proper massage in Rio? I know some places offer sensual massage for 150 or 200 like spa H or solaryun, but I have a feeling that their skill is not that great. Regarding the tips, I didn't wanna start a long discussion because we will never reach a consensus here. The reason is that our benchmark is very different for every person and the market is always changing. Also many people who paid less will not reveal what they paid because they get called cheap2charlie. So the information on this forum can be very tilted in terms of the actual pay. That's why I kept the tip part short in my review. If you ask me, compared to well established places in Bangkok, I felt like Pattaya was expensive. The min tip used to be 700 to 1500 in Bangkok before pandemic. I still found it expensive because my type is hard to find in Thailand. But I never hired after the pandemic in Bangkok so I wouldn't know the market. As far as I see from one place that has its min tip public, it is still 700 in Bangkok...so Pattaya should be lower because the cost of living in Pattaya is lower for the boys. But when I hired this time in Pattaya, it was a busy touristy season (Jan after opening from pandemic) so I don't know how the market was. If there are so many tourists who are willing to pay 1500 for extra ( full service) then yes the market is different and the boys won't accept lower amounts because another customer can give them that amount. But I doubt that amount would last after February. I know 1500 as a tip is high because the top boys offer the same thing on the app for 1500 or even lower. Much better experience because you do it at your home instead of the massage place and you agree on what you would do in advance etc but you can't control much in the massage place. If you contact the spa manager over line and choose two guys and tell him you want them to fuck each other, of course they will say no. I mean being a bit sensible has a long way to go. Relax massage in Pattaya This place is close to the Boystown in Pattaya, on the main road, close to the intersection where the baht bus to Jomtien starts. It is right next to the turkish restaurant on that corner. You can find it on google map as well. Boys quality: I wanted to try the Sea massage, again from a recommendation here somewhere. But I didn't like the guys who were sitting in the front. I passed the Sea massage multiple times and also at the closing when almost all of the guys were outside chatting before heading home. So I was quite certain that I didn't have anyone of my type. I was a bit disappointed but when I passed the Sea massage, I saw some decent looking guys sitting in front of a place called Relax massage. They are dressed in black (pants) and white (t-shirt) and all looked quite nice. Most looked quite straight and that was actually the case after talking to them. I think the owner (a lady in the picture on the google map) has a good taste in men so she got some decent looking guys. Either way, oil massage is also 300 baht only so I thought I won't lose much so I decided to try it out. Soda Massage Jomtien review I went there following a recent review by a member (sorry i cannot locate it here). The place is located in the jomtien complex where all the bars and massage shops are. It is on the corner and one can locate it on google maps. Boys quality: Boys were sitting in front but many of them are flamboyant (more of?) bottoms, who are not my type. I do like more masculine and muscular guys so keep that in mind when you read my reviews. Many of them were not my type, some decent looking faces but the body is slim...But the oil massage is only 300 baht, so I wanted to try it. There are two types of massage places: you can choose boys and pay min tip. This kinda guarantees ES, so you need to tell your preferences such as top before choosing the boy. Most places have twinky guys if I understand it correctly, but places like Arena would specialize more muscular guys. Many places have a line account that publishes the photos and role of the boys. Would be efficient to contact via line first. Many of these places are in Silom and Sukhumvit area but I might be missing. This is good if you wanna have fun for sure. 2. The second type is where they look like a normal spa but with some or many or exclusively male therapists. Here depending on the therapist, you can reach an agreement on the tip and what you can do. Wholly on your discretion. I understand you cannot choose the guy unless you know the guy and name them when you book in advance. No minimum type, usually cheaper (like most massage places in Thailand). You can find them everywhere as long as you see the male therapists there but members here noted spas in Inthamara area, close to the Chatuchak market but many seem to exist in Silom as well. If you don't mind a good massage without sex for cheap, this option is good. Maybe other more experienced members can add more info with details.
