  1. This is the kind of info I was looking for. I was curious if others have encountered guys who stick to their rate of 150 or whatever. I was also curious if they routinely ask more for cum, because tomcal had mentioned in a thread that he pays 100 and it is expected that cum is included with that. That hasn’t been my experience, so I was looking for more data points
  2. First of all, I don’t go to saunas because I have no way to get sex other than pay for it. There are plenty of other reasons guys go to saunas (convenience and immediacy, ease of selection, safety, the social aspects). Saunas are fun for a variety or reasons. I also find the saunas fascinating as an American who grew up in a Puritan, repressed, sex-negative culture. The sexuality, lack of shame over nudity, and culture norms found in Brazil and Brazilian saunas are so radically different and refreshing. Second, I wasn’t trying to diss “fat old guys.” You seem to be taking it personal for no reason.
  3. 1) I suppose you would be fine buying a new car from a dealership for 50k and then learning your friend bought the exact same car for 25k? I suppose you also wouldn’t care if the car salesman told everyone else you were a dumb American and were stupid enough to pay double? The difference between 100 and 200 reals is 2x. Tomcal has reported before garotos making fun of clients behind their backs who overpay. 2) I don’t expect to get charged less than an unattractive client. But I certainly don’t expect to get charged more. 3) You are assuming my generosity amounts to $12 extra when you really have no idea what I have given or am capable of giving
  4. I was going through some old posts on this board, and saw a picture of this guy from 12 years ago. It was shocking to see him so young, because I immediately recognized him as currently working at Point 202. He has aged a lot, but must have a base of regulars
  5. For me it isn’t so much the dollar amount as it is not wanting the garoto to view me as gullible or stupid. If I choose to be generous, I want that to be my decision, and not the garoto thinking he is pulling a fast one on me. It’s also annoying to see the same garoto later with a local older/overweight/whatever client and thinking that they are charging that client less than me.
  6. A gunman's attempted robbery on young children and families waiting outside a school in Sao Paulo was foiled by a mother who turned out to be an off-duty armed policewoman Read full article
  7. Rio - 117 and Point 202 -Most guys will take 100 reals for a programa. I have been asked without exception for more if I want gozar. I’m curious if others get goza included with the 100. I have been asked for between 120 and 150 with goza. -Some guys want more than 100 if you want them to be pasivo (this applies more to muscle guys who aren’t usually pasivo). Usually in this case they ask for 150. -Lowest I’ve paid is 80, and that is with guys who I was on the border about hiring. I’ve also gotten massages for 50 reals, probably because the masseuse was desperate for buisness that day. -Higher end guys (best looking, muscular) sometimes ask for 150 and won’t come down, especially on busy nights. These are the guys that are in highest demand. Usually they ask for 200 with goza. If I’m really into the guy and he won’t come down sometimes I pay 150. I am wondering if anyone else has experience with guys who won’t budge from 150. The most I’ve ever paid is 200 with goza. -Overnights. Usually they quote around 400, but it varies. Curious what other people are paying for this. I’ve yet to actually do an overnight with a garoto. Lagoa -The guys usually ask for more in Sao Paulo to start than in Rio. -Starting price for negotiations is 150. The lesser in demand ones will go down to 100-120. It’s easier to get them to come down on less busy nights when there aren’t a lot of clients. -Some of the top-end guys won’t budge from 150. There is at least one or two that insist on 200. All the guys at Lagoa also ask extra for cum. There has only been twice I can think of when they came without asking for more. -Overnights at Lagoa: have been quoted from 400 to 700 reals. -I’m also curious if anyone has had success re-negotiating a rate with a garoto. In my experience it is difficult after you have already paid them 150, but then later try to get them to go for 100. What you pay the first time is usually what you pay for repeats.
  8. Thanks for your trip report and the pictures of the strippers I don’t remember there being strippers when I went to Theatron in 2010, but I’m not sure if I ever made it up to the 4th floor...the place is so huge. It sounds like you have a great arrangement with the chaturbate models/studios...how much do you spend on them during the occasional shopping sprees? Otherwise I can’t understand why sexy chaturbate models would sleep with you, including overnights in their apartment, for free.
  9. I’m the next Maluma! So proclaims one of the garotos, who has proudly just sent me his latest song on whatsapp. He had told me before he is a singer, but this is the first I have heard his work. It is actually really good - the boy has talent! Another garoto sends me a picture of himself in his army uniform, looking sexier than ever. He explains that he is on a “top secret and confidential mission” now, but after it is over, can we meet again? I had only been with him twice in the saunas before he disappeared. From prior conversations he has told me he makes just 2400 reals a month working full time in the army, and does occasional work as a garoto on the side for extra income. Obviously he is in need of some extra money now, hence his sudden re-appearance. In the evening I get a text from yet another garoto that I had met in Rio. I DA PRA CASAR!!! (I’m getting married) Com quien? (With who) I ask. COM VC!!! followed by a bunch of kiss and wink emojis (With you!!) Aww. These garotos are quite mischievous and funny sometimes..
  10. Nothing has ever happened to me in Brazil, (knock on wood) but an American friend of mine got robbed at gunpoint near “The Week” one night, also during Carnival. I have also seen a necklace snatching by a guy on a bike in Copacabana. Bad shit can happen anywhere though. I got robbed at knifepoint when I was 18 in Miami Beach, with a guy who threatened to cut my face into pieces. It’s good to be cautious no matter where you are in the world, and even more so if you can easily be picked out as a tourist/foreigner/gringo.
  11. He was one of the macho muscle top-only guys, who are the most likely of all garotos to behave like this. I got to the saunas after 9pm that night, so everything was really rushed. I didn’t have much time to chat or ask him many questions i.e. whether he was a good kisser, etc. I’ve had muscle types that were stiff downstairs, but then when they got to the room were passionate underneath their tough exterior. It’s just kind of a gamble sometimes.
  12. Patrick has been around the saunas for a few years - I think I first met him in 2016 at 117, but I never went to a suite with him. He’s a nice guy, and has a son who is probably 5 by now. He gained some weight and is self-conscious about it, which is why he walks around 202 fully clothed now. Did you want a massage with him or sex? If you want sex, then like Pauleiro said, you have to agree on everything before getting the key to the room (activo or pasivo, kissing, oral giving/receiving with or without condom, whether there will be cum). Even if you agree on everything, occasionally they will still try to raise the price or don’t perform as promised, but it’s easier to stand your ground if everything was discussed beforehand. It’s really crucial you stand your ground in the beginning, or the word will get around and everyone will try to take advantage of you. Try to make friends with a local, they can help you a lot..
  13. Those are common words I gave as examples. There are endless more abbreviations that are not so easily translated. Does “n” automatically translate as no, also?
  14. On Fridays there are always plenty of fresh faces - and fresh meats - to be had at Lagoa. This is because garotos from other cities sometimes travel to Sao Paulo to work on the weekends. Often the visiting garotos ask for slightly more than the locals, knowing the Paulistanos will splurge a little extra to try a brand new delicacy. From time to time, I have been told, there have even been bidding wars between top clients trying to lock a new boy down for the whole night. A power play like this is equally about asserting one’s dominance over the other clients as it is about the boy. I spotted a visiting hottie from Curitiba - about 6”3, with a nicely muscled body. I almost fell over in my seat when I saw him stroking his enormous and perfectly shaped dick in the porn room (while fixated to the porn on his phone, which was apparently preferable to Lagoa’s feature showing of the day, Big Booty 2). Surprisingly he has a cut cock, which is something of a rarity in Brazil. His exhibitionism marks him as a newcomer to Lagoa. The top-end guys here usually make you work a little harder to get a sneak peek at their goods. Unlike at 117, where most garotos freely show off their packages, Lagoa guys tend to be more discreet (the guys who jack off in public get a reputation of being low-end and/or desperate). I was tempted to see what he could offer, but when I asked if he was a good kisser he seemed non-committal, and his porn dependency was troublesome. I was getting straight, doggy-style -only vibes, so I’ll wait for one of the locals to sample him and let me know if he is worthwhile. In the meantime, there were other hotties from Porto Algre, Fortaleza and Minais Gerais to scope out..
  15. While there are so many things to love about Brazil, here are the most annoying things: -Slow internet. There is no way “4g” here is actually 4g! And wi-fi in hotels and airbnb’s isn’t much better. It feels almost like dial up speed sometimes. -Laundry. Does it seriously cost 60 reals at the laundrymat for just one load of laundry (washer + dryer) Yes, yes it does...some locals have said that is because electricity is expensive here, but I don’t know. If you did a load of whites, colors, and sheets/towels, that would set you back over $50USD. -Toilets. The bowls have so little water in them, and trashcans are full with stinky toilet paper everywhere. Really glad in the US that gets flushed :-) -Abbreviations. In texts it seems like Brazilians abbreviate almost every other word: Voce becomes vc, beijos becomes bj, and on and on. This messes up google translate - you almost need a translation of the abbreviations just to use google translate kkkk
  16. Jose has come to apologize: he faked his orgasm with me the other night, and now he feels bad. Am I mad at him? No, not really, but his acting skills need work. His fake orgasm was obvious to anyone but a blind person.. Him sticking one of his fingers in my mouth while supposedly “cumming” failed as a distraction technique. It probably wasn’t the first time he’s used that trick. If I go with him this time he guarantees there will be plenty of milk. I’m not convinced. Faking an orgasm wasn’t the only annoying thing he did with me - he also made me wear a condom to get sucked, tried rushing me, and a list of other minor things. Despite knowing for sure there won’t be a next time with him, I tell him maybe later instead..
  17. It’s a small, closet-like bathroom between the jacuzzi and gym. I think you only get a key for it when you get a room or suite near the pool, because it often seems to be locked.
  18. Tucked inside one of the tiny bathrooms in Lagoa is a graffiti wall. One of the clients revealed its existence to me: it is an anonymous way to recommend or warn about garotos. I was stunned to see the garoto I had a terrible experience with a few days ago written about in all caps: “X” E UM MENTIROSO. Yes, he certainly was...(his name is unusual, so I’m sure it is referring to the same guy) About another garoto: “ele não faz o que ele disse.” Other clients write a heart symbol followed by the names of the garotos they like. The wall is somewhat chaotic, so its practical use is limited. Still, I find it rather interesting...
  19. Best nights at Lagoa: Friday (by far the best night) Saturday Wednesday (sometimes better than saturday) Thursday/Sunday Monday Tuesday (usually the worst)
  20. The theme at this years Met Gala was “Heavenly Bodies.” Well, there are plenty of those to be found at Lagoa too, including Eduardo’s. Eduardo is one of those horny power bottoms where you aren’t sure who is fucking who. Yes, technically I’m the top. But I just lay on the bed and let him ride me as he pleases. He does all the work... Did he learn those rhythmic hip gyrations in samba school? Probably. They don’t exactly teach tricks like those in sunday school. Even better, he stays fully hard when getting fucked and can barely stop himself from cumming the entire time. There’s a reason I keep repeating with him over and over. Heavenly, indeed.
  21. I’m sure the collection is easily worth many tens of billions. In 2007, one of the museum’s Picasso’s was stolen and that one painting alone was estimated to be worth 50 million. The museum is apparently very under-funded and does not even have an alarm system. https://www.google.com/amp/uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUKN2017768520071221
  22. Overall I like Rio more, but Sao Paulo is growing on me. I feel safer in Sao Paulo as well, especially in the Paulista Ave. area. I’ve yet to hear any gunshots here, whereas I heard gunshots close to my apartment multiple times in Rio. That said, I was in Rio for 2 months and I never got mugged or had anything bad happen. Lagoa is my favorite sauna, followed by Point and 117. The guys are hot at 117, but I had a lot of problems with poor performance there and very little of that at Point or Lagoa.
  23. Yeah, you can tell within the first few minutes if it’s going to be good or not. Different garotos definitely have different business strategies. Some go for repeat clients and others are churn and burn. The locals usually point out garotos with bad reputations to me, but every now and then one slips through the cracks.
  24. The night started out with a bad programa. I’ve learned to just cut my losses when this happens and move on to the next guy. This garoto was glued to the porn, made it clear he didn’t like to kiss, insisted on doggy style only. Zero emotion, body language stiff as a board. I just wasn’t feeling it at all...partially my fault because I didn’t feel him out enough beforehand. I tried talking to one of the elite Lagoa boy types, but he was being annoyingly aloof. Red flag, next! Brought up one of my favorites who I knew I would have a good time with. Used the same room, they didn’t charge me extra even though I think I might have gone a little over on the time..
  25. Sao Paulo has its own version of the Empire State Building called the “Farol” building. In addition to having an observatory deck on the 26th floor, it also has a museum and art exhibits (thanks to @mvan1 for the recommendation). Not wanting to go alone, I asked one of the garotos I’m friends with if he was interested in going. Of course! Can I bring my cousin? Well the more the merrier... His cousin turned out to be quite cute, and is taking English classes to pursue his dream of being a diplomat (No, I didn’t sleep with him lol). I took them to lunch, and then to the Farol building, which has amazing panoramic views of the city’s skyline. There was a light show called “Tundra” on the 24th floor, which is advertised as “a floating meadow of sound and light between the earth and the sky” and promises that you will be “fully immersed inside the eerie space of a dream.” I loved it.. Afterwards we went to the Sao Paulo Museum of Art, which is widely considered the best art museum in South America, with Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet and many other masters represented. It was a fun afternoon, and my garoto friend didn’t ask for any money other than lunch and the admission tickets. So for anyone else going to Sao Paulo I definitely recommend checking out these two places...admission to the Farol building was 20 reals and MASP was around 30.
