Zurich & Prague Review

This past week I was in Zurich and Prague. The review for Zurich is going to be much briefer so that will be first.

Zurich I had read over the years about Paragonya Sauna in Zurich and two friends and myself were going to Prague so we decided to stop in Zurich for a Friday night and check it out as well at the two hustler bars nearby. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel which is in a great location on the river and only about 9 blocks from the sauna and bars which are in Old Town and very walkable and safe.

Paragonya is a very clean nice sauna. It is located in a office building a block off the river in a nice area. We had been told the best time to go there is between 1:00 and 7:00 pm with mid afternoon being the busiest. It has a bar/sitting area, all very nice on the main floor and there is also a hot tub and showers on that floor. Upstairs is a video viewing area, a tanning bed and than about a dozen cubicles to have sex in. We got there at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and there were about 16 escorts there and about 10 customers. 5 were Brazilian, 3 Roma(Gypsy) 5 Thai Ladyboys and 1 Yugoslavian and 1 Italian and 1 other. Two of the Brazilian boys we recognized from Rio saunas.

None of the 3 of us, who are all very busy when we are in Rio saunas, hired anyone there! There were two reasons. 1) they wanted $100. for sex and $200 if they cum, and that is for 15 mins. in a fairly spartan room upstairs! that works out to $400. U.S. an hour! This is for the same guys that you would be paying $26. hr for in Rio! 2) the overall quality of the guys was not what we are used to in Brazil. It's interesting that between the 3 of us, all of whom go to Rio frequently for the past 6+ years, none of us had ever been with the 3 Brazilians we recognized from Rio, I would say they were not of the type we were used to or are attracted to. They all had good bodies, 2 were goodloooking the others average and most were in the 25 - 30 age range. IMHO, the best looking guy was the Yugoslavian, and he is the one that told me the pricing structure.

We enjoyed the hustler bar called Carousel Bar, Alstadt - Zähringerstrasse 33, Zurich, about two blocks from the sauna. It was fun to be at a rent boy bar since there are so few anywhere and to be at one that was packed! We ended up seeing almost all the suana guys show up there after 9:00 pm plus another dozen or so boys who were not at the suana but most were Roma(gypsy) and while a number of them were really goodlooking, everyone...every single local we talked to, said to stay away from them, that they promise anything and do absolutely nothing when they get to the bed, consider themselves all straight and won't kiss, or suck and only are tops! We met a Expat Canadian at Carousel who had lived in Zurich for the past 10 years and confirmed what we had heard earlier. He said the guys working in Switzerland believe that there is alot of money there and therefore charge the highest rates in Europe.

Bottom line, while the sauna was nice and clean and Carousel Bar was fun, I would not recommend going to Zurich on less it was on your way to somewhere else! We stopped there on the way to Prague because American Airlines was offering double base miles from NYC to Zurich so it gave us a reason and it turns out the best reason to go there! :-)

Prague!!! I went last year and it was great! this year it was even better! We stay at the Ariston Hotel or the Ariston Patio hotel across the street, http://www.europehotels.cz/en/welcome.html the Ariston is older but both are fine. Ask for back room as you won't have the street noise. The best part is they are about 6 blocks up the street, Seifertova, from Club Temple(the old Pinnochios) and Monty's Bar, which are next door to each other. It is also about a 12 -14 block walk to Escape to Paradise Club, http://www.escapeprague.eu/ the gay strip bar.

Monty's a very small bar with 5 bar stools, two sofas and several large stuffed chairs in the main room and two more sofas in the back video game room, the whole place is probably 500 sq. ft....but worth it!

I was able to get some photos taken at each of the places that will post later along with information about the boys we met! Including 2 Bel Ami guys, one of which has his video playing at Temple when we were there, but were typical Bel Ami, Handsome hot, one blonde and one brunette. I am looking on the Bel Ami site to find their pics and will post the link when I do.

We arrived in Prague on Sat. at noon and after we unpacking and having lunch, walked down the street to Monty's bar. Monty's is different than any other hustler bar that I have been to. Not only because it is by far the smallest, but the boys drift in and out through out the day, often popping their heads in for a minute seeing if their are any customers and than coming back an hour later. This goes on from 2:00 pm until 2:00 a.m. Many guys go from Monty's next door to Club Temple around 9:00 p.m. and than back over to Monty's after midnight.

Our normal routine was to swing by Monty's between 2:00 and 3:00 and than take a walk over to the Prague train station which is about 6 blocks away. This is a very large train station and after 4:00 pm to about 5:30 there are usually guys "working". Again, about 1/3 of these will be "roma" guys and probably should be avoided.

We would stop at Monty's around 7:00 each evening and spend an hour or so there, and usually one or two of us would meet a guy we liked and head back to the hotel up the street. Around 9:00 pm we would head to Club Temple and by than there would usually be a dozen or so guys working, including a Bel Ami guy. I should mention here that the guys at Temple or Monty's charge 1200. to 1500. /Czk = $69. to $86. U.S. None of the guys were clock watchers at all! So you get a full hour or more!

Around 10:00 to 10:30 we would head to Escape. This is a Vegas style strip club, which always has 12 to 15 guys dancing. they have shows with costumes and usually around midnight are nude.

The guys at Escape are not paid by the club, but have to be there from 9:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for the priviledge of working there. They only make their money by escorting. But if you want them to leave b/4 1:30 there is a $2,000. Czk charge($115. U.S.) There is room to negotiate, but the cheapest we could get them to go was $2,500. CZK, but that is almost 1/2 of what they initially ask for.

The first evening, Saturday, myself and one of my friends both took guys from Monty's back to the hotel, the price was $1200./Czk. Both were very good. I might add we did not met a single guy who could not speak English, so this made everything very easy. Once we spent 10 minutes or so talking and decided that was the guy we wanted we would be very clear about what we liked to do and the price. One guy, who ended up being my favorite and I saw each of the days, originally said to me when I asked "How much to go back to the hotel"? and he said "Whatever you think is fair". I said, "I think 1200./ is" and he said OK, but when we got back to the hotel and after we finished about 2 hours later I ended up giving him 1500. or about $86. U.S., not only was he very good, the most surprising thing was when he took off his clothes, he was at least 10"!! I told him he should work for Bel Ami, but he said that he works for the Phone company and only does this on the weekends until he and his girlfriend can get a better apartment! He was 21.

Saturday night about 10:30 we headed to Escape. There is a $200./Czk admission(worth it!) you walk downstairs and it looks like a vegas style straight strip club, nice bar, and various leather sofas and chairs set around on several different levels. All of the guys speak English, but, they cannot leave until after 1:30 a.m. unless you pay the club's early departure fee for them which is a ridiculous amount! I motioned for this very hot blonde guy to come over and sit down, he had just finished making 3 BelAmi films the previous two months. He first wanted the standard $4000./Czk to go back to the hotel, and I told him, Thanks, but no thanks. He said "all the boys here charge the same"! I said "I know, but the boys at Temple and Montys charge 1500. and they don't look any different!(almost true, this guy was hot! lol) So then he went down to $3000. I said "Heres my number, call me tomorrow in the afternoon when you are not here at the club if you want to come over at a more reasonable fee to..., and this is their word for it..."Bizness" He called the next day for $2500. When the films he's in get released I will post it on here so you can see what he looks like.

The blonde muscular dancer my friend took back from Escape was the first guy to come with a money back guarantee! He told my friend it was $4000. but if he didn't think it was the best sex ever, he would give him back $1,000.

He came to the hotel at 1:30 and stayed until 6:00 a.m. and he kept the $4,000.Ckz! as my friend said he was worth every dollar! :-) The next day he came over and charged my friend 2500.

Thanks, Tomcal, for the very detailed report on Zurich and Prague. I went only once to Zurich and will certainly not go there again. I go to Prague very often and I do like this city. THere are some gorgeous blond blue eyes muscular guys to discover there. And prices are reasonable as long as you do not accept any price that someone will throw (eg 5000 Kr almost 300 $).

In getting to know a couple of guys, we got further information on how the clubs in Prague operate.

At Club Temple the guys have to stay until midnight or the owner won't allow them back in, according to one guy I met who met me later that night. I saw him there at 8:00 and wanted to know if he wanted to go back to the hotel as we were going to go to Escape at around 10:00. He said he couldn't until after midnight or the owner wouldn't let him work the next week. btw, the owner is a guy named Joe who is from Los Angeles.

Escape, the Vegas style club, has a min. 12 guys dancing there each night and they are required to be there from 9:00 p.m. until either 1:30 or 3:00 a.m. depending on the night, 6 nights a week. They are not paid by the club but if they miss their time to work, they are not allowed back in the club. (they also have a zero tolerance for drug use and a very hot guy we met the first night was not there the second night and they other guys told us that he had been suspected of drug use, not confirmed, but still he was sent packing!) They make all their money by doing escorting after hours! The club provides housing for new guys for the first few months until they earn enough to get their own apt. It is a large two bedroom apt. that holds up to 6 guys, but right now 2 are living there. I found this out from a guy I met there on the last night who came to the hotel on at 1:00 a.m. since he had to work until 12:30 at Escape. He had only been working there 3 weeks and was from Slovakia and was 21. He stayed for about 2-1/2 hours.

Overall, while Prague doesn't have the number of guys that you have to choose from in Rio with 5 saunas there, there are more then enough guys to pick from to fit everyone's type, from Twink to Muscle guys! It's a different scene than Rio, but really fun and worth going to!

I go to Prague more or less once a month.

What you describe are the two most famous clubs + bar of Prague. There are also other places to visit (not to mention saunas) :

- Drakes which is a place where there are harder shows on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including a very hot "slave in the cage" show on Fridays nites

- Villa Mansland which is a gay hotel in the suburbs of Prague where you can find boys, some going to MOnty and Temple, other going only to the Villa Mansland.

- Valentino which is a gay disco packed on weekends where you can find boys for less than 1000 kr (60$). There are not regular escorts, but more "boys next door" boys willing to get some money for the week end. Of course they are not easy to spot since they do not want to be seen discussing with an older man and sometimes they do not speak english

- Gayromeo which is an internet site where there are 5 pages of escorts of all types and for all tastes.

What I like in Prague is that you can find perfect boys with great bodies, great face, great cocks, blond hair, blue eyes (my type) for a reasonable cost. In addition, Prague is a rather safe place

A couple of reasons we stuck to Monty's Bar/ClubTemple/Escape and the train station...

1) they were all within easy walking distance of our hotel and each other. The longest walk being from our hotel to Escape, about 12 mins.

2) We had gone to Villa Mansland last trip, and it's a cab ride away from everything and was not good wth very few guys there. So we decided to skip it this trip.

3) Drakes is across the river and again a cab ride and while we did not go, the 3 local guys(customers) we talked to said basically it didn't compare to Escape and the quality and number of guys available.

4)At The train station, it is easy to spot the guys looking for work, I am not sure if I would be good at it in Valentino's but I did hear it's a fun club to go to for dancing/drinking.

We checked out Gay Romeo, but the thrill of not knowing what to see/expect at the 3 clubs plus the fun of have a "live" choice to pick fun, made this more fun. My one friend did message 4 escorts on Gay Romeo and said if they were interested to met him at Club Temple on Sat. night, two did, but they were not any more attractive then the guys we met there and they are more expensive from the internet.

I think the fact that we all found guys we liked and several we didn't even get the chance to meet because we were so busy...:-), made it a a easy decision to stay within walking distance of the hotel. If there had been a shortage of guys in the places we were frequeting, we probably would have checked out the other places!

I was asked in a email if the guys in Prague do "everything" that the guys in Rio do in bed! Visited Paragonya last week. The spa has been upgraded with new facilities but I was disappointed by the selection of rentboys. I like muscle boys and there were only two who could arguably fit the bill. I passed on both, largely because they had a long "dance" card of men waiting to sample their services. The other guys were mainly twinks from Asia, Eastern Europe and South America. On a Monday afternoon, there were maybe 15 rentboys total. I left disappointed.
