A few options that I can think of. 1. Combining a few of the forums together. Ex. Pornification, Word on the Street, and Beyond Vanilla to The Pub. 2. Letting posts occur in the Main Forum The Pub and then moving them to the appropriate forum after discussion dies down after 30 days. 3. A combination of the 2. 4. Other ideas? That makes for a more difficult time following discussions IMO. " Regarding #1, several comments were previously made in the Site comments thread about combining forums. That forum was pinned at the top of the forums menu page. It seems to be missing now. #2. & 3. I am against these option. It makes unnecessary work and will eventually lead to posts not being moved in a timely manner or moved at all or even worse accidentally moved to the wrong forum. If you want to reply to 10 different posters in that thread, hit Multi-Quote and it will place all those quotes in the reply box. It is MUCH easier than the other forum software once you get use to it. Now I get the quote automatically when I click response. Not sure why I didnt before. I do see the multiquote button. What suggestions do you have? I've been suggesting a clean up for a long time now. I would get rid of pornification, laying on hands, beyond vanilla, mer chat schedule, and word on the street. Any item that would be posted in those areas can appropriately be posted in the pub and or buffet. I seriously feel the days of having a separate forum for "every topic" is very outdated. All the threads were combined with other forums. None were deleted but moved. Many of the forums themselves have been removed to make the forums less clutter. I am thinking of even downsizing more. I have created this forum. TY and I disagree on this and he will most likely prove to be right in the end (he usually does). Well I guess International to those of us here in the states If this is going to be done then Asian and Australian would also have to be folded in to make sense. It is a viable option. It will present us more as a Norte Americano site and lessen our international scope. As an issue maybe that is important, maybe not. You're right those two forums should also be included into the International Destinations if you decide to make the adjustment. However, only you and OZ can decide if it makes sense with your business model to lean heavier toward North American visitors. Right now, we have about 100 other issues related to the site that we are working with programmers on daily. Once things settle down, we'll have some time to go over the forums closely. "Some other time" is the kind of dismissive answer kids get when they're bothering Mommy, who has more important things to do. My question was meant as a suggestion to help get the Politics forum off the ground in the short term, not to distract you from other issues. Continued good wishes for success in the new endeavors. Did not mean to sound like Mommy or Daddy. I thought your proposal was good. I just don't have the time right now to do it. When a new site launches, there are tons of issues which go on behind the scenes. Literally hundreds of small issues that we need to fix and check and double check. As someone who has always wanted a Political forum, I see great value in it. It is on the to do list and was not trying to be dismissive at all. That is the point for a separate forum. Sooner or later someone will drag the political discussion into the alley. We have seen it happen here. It only takes one poster. Not everyone wants to be exposed to such rantings or even to civil political discourse on a male escort review site. We have seen that here also.
