I just returned from visiting Rio, Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo. It had been 7 weeks since my last trip to Rio and I was surprised, in a good way, by the number of new faces in the saunas!

RIO: We visited the three main saunas, Pointe 202, Club 117 and Meo Mundo every day. There are not really any changes to report since the last posted info, all seem to be doing well. On Sunday night at Pointe, there was a drag queen and stripper show on. As I had mentioned previously, the strippers do not escort AT the saunas typically, but if you can discreatly talk to them about a programma at your hotel, it usually works.

One stripper who I originally met two years ago when he was 18 was dancing, He has a deep sexy voice that I always found extremely sexy! He lives in Sao Paulo but comes to Rio often to dance and has a day job at a major hotel. I had never been with him but had always said hi when I had run into him. I always thought he was hot! We talked and he asked me if I was interested in a "programma"? Was I?? I made him run all the way back to the hotel! lol I have made over 50 trips to Rio in the past 8 years and have been with alot of great guys, BUT...this guy has to rank in the top 3 ever!! it was amazing. So much so that I am going back to meet him in S.P. in 6 weeks! He was funny and great to talk to, on top of amazing sex!

He has a deep sexy voice, about 6'1" and looks very Italian.

The guy I had met on the last trip that I mentioned before, my "brazilian BF" stayed over every night so I had to get out of the saunas by 9:00 so I could get back to the hotel, shower and change and meet him for dinner each night at 10:00. We had a great time, but I don't think this "steady BF" thing is for me, I don't like worring about having to leave the sauna at a certain time and being late to a dinner. the emotional connection is really nice to have...but ...I can see problems ahead, the next trip I will have to make some decisions!

It rained every day we were in Rio, probably the worse weather of any visit I have had there! Rio doens't really have a rainy season, it is spread out thru every month, but usually it's sunny 75% of the time, but it was not to be on this trip, so we decided to change our plans and leave a day earlier for Porto Alegre where it was sunny and go there on Thursday rather than Friday.

Porto Alegre: We went to both suanas in P.A. on Thursday night, they were slow with about a dozen guys working at each, so at 9:00 pm we decided to head over to Bar Mixx 54 the bar I had mentioned in previous posts, where the sauna boys go to after "work" as well as local non sauna guys who need some extra cash for the weekend. When we got there we took a table right near the bar and next to the pool table as we could see everyone coming in easily from there. It wasn't necessary, word spread fast that there were 2 Americans there! lol in about 5 mins. there were 8 guys leaning against the pool table staring at us! I ended going to one of the rooms upstairs with a 19 yr old mechanic who was very shy(until he got his clothes off), 6'1" of German ancestry. On Friday night both saunas were booming! many guys at each. Mezzininu had a bigger better selection that night so we spent more time there. About 10:00 we headed back to Bar Mixx 54 where I ran into another german guy who I had met about 2 years ago, he doesn't ever work the saunas, has a full time construction job but will go to this bar or Era Uma Vez bar to make money on weekends. He gave me a kiss and said, he hadn't seen me for a long time and did I want him to come back and sleep the night with me at the hotel? :-) He asked for $100R. which is about $57.00 U.S. How could I refuse??

BTW, we found a great restaurant about 6 blocks from Plataforma and two blocks from Bar Mixx 54 called Bella Italia, Av. Pernambuco, 2353, it is a Brazilian Churasscaria, all you can eat, Pizza/Pasta/Salad. they had about 30 different varieties of pizza that very cute waiters bring around by the slice, including dessert pizzas! also about a dozen different varieties of Pasta, Three of us went and we all really liked it! did I mention the waiters are really really cute? lol

We flew to Sao Paulo on Saturday afternoon, I should mention that the flight from Rio to P.A. is 2 hours and from P.A. to Sao Paulo is about 1hr 45 mins.

Sao Paulo: I know I am going to offend some people as this is a generalization, but I really don't like S.P.! It's like 20 NYC's put together, expensive to get around and of all the saunas I dislike Lagoa the most. It's a big sauna but I don't care for the layout, to me it's guys have more attitude and always expect a $100R min. and the expections I have are seldom met there! I have friends that like it and have a good time there. I have tried on multiple occassions and it just doesn't work for me! For those that know me, if I am in a sauna for 5 hours, I will normally have made at least three trips up to the rooms minimum! Last Saturday we got there at 4:30 and I left at 9:30 and did not meet one guy that I wanted to take up to a room. There were alot of guys working there, and I have a fairly large range of the type of guys I go with to say the least! but I found no one that appealed either on a physical or personality level that I wanted to spend time with. There were some attractive guys there but a small % in comparison to the number there and when you compare them to Rio. I will put in a caveat/truth in reporting, I have never been fond of S.P. so I am probably more than a little biased!

Thanks for the GREAT report. Much appreciated. The reason Heinz makes so many varieties is that everyone likes something different. I love LaGoa. I have always had luck there and actually met 3 boys there that I am still in contact with. It does have attitude and I have spent many a day there like you and did not take one guy. At 117 in Rio, I usually take about 3 or more. So, yes overall I don't get the same number as I get in Rio. But, I enjoy it all the same.

I don't like the lay out of LaGoa either but I am looking forward to seeing your place in PA.

Bom dia, Tom- I have a job today to which I am NOT looking forward, so I dozed off I guess around 9p and awoke at 1ish. ...came to this site to search for a masseur/escort whom I plan to see in SF on Friday and managed to come to this part of this site although I've been a member since 2006. Elated and glad to see that you are still on your frequent sojourns to your and my favorite country, but as you, I have not particularly cared for Sao Paulo either due to its vast size although I've been there three times in this decade. Have been to all of the saunas there, too, and have to agree with you regarding the "attitude" of some of the sauna guys at Lagoa. I've never had a stellar time while there. Most of my fun has happened when I've met indepedent escorts whose rates have NOT been that out of hand.

But, at any rate, thanks for your reporting here. It's always great to hear from a veteran who seemingly has wonderful pics and stories to share. I'll never forget FESTA 2 at the Atlantico and how you introduced me to that wonderful guy who later found himself in my room. YOur doing this certainly put me at ease because I was a nervous one. Too bad that we cannot have another such party, but I still remember the ramifications that transpired afterwards.

Plan to go to Rio de janeiro sometime in April 2010 for over 8 days. Am looking forward to this because I have not returned in 2 years! Unfortunately, I am not in the same position as you, you frequent carioca traveler! - Enjoy yourself when you return soon, and again thanks for all of your posts!
