Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

1-cup ice cubes

1 cup canned pumpkin

7 oz silken tofu (about ½ package)

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

½ cup orange juice

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (low sugar) (I prefer Jay Robb)

2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1 tsp cinnamon

Blend all ingredients together. Enjoy!

Serves: about 3

A great source of vitamin A, vitamin C and fiber. This smoothie is also packed with cinnamon, which is a great blood sugar stabilizer. Enjoy with a high fiber morning muffin or toast with almond butter for a delicious breakfast.

Add a couple of shots of rum and it becomes a tasty highball.

^_^ but alcohol shows down your metabolism for 3 full days after you drink a small amount. :(

However, I am sure it would make it taste a lot better. But, try it. It is pretty damn good!
