aaroninatl Posted November 15 Share Posted November 15 Spending next week in Colombia - half in Bogota, half in Medellin. Hoping to get some good intel from anyone who might have visited recently. Looks like many of these threads are years old and the info is probably out of date. I've been to both cities before and had some really good luck on Grindr and Mileroticos. Unfortunately I did have one terrible experience though. I don't feel comfortable sharing the specifics here, but I learned to watch for warning signs for future encounters. Make sure profiles have a face and legit social media. Would love to get some recommendations for guys to spend time with... and warnings for anyone I should avoid. Mostly into twinks and muscle twinks. Once they hit bodybuilder phase, I'm out. In Bogota, I'm planning to head to Garage. I went once to Gigolo House (I think that's where I went... 3 levels place?) but had no idea how things work there and I speak only a little Spanish. Then probably Theatron. I try to keep my posts up to date as I travel regularly to Colombia and speak with Colombian friends daily. So if I don't have the answer, I can usually ask around. If you are just looking for prepagos, start with Mileroticos (as noted above) as those are the most professional of the scorts. They pay to post ads and they can include reviews -- albeit solely in Spanish. As a foreigner, I would strongly urge you to visit El Recreo de Adan in Zona T (Bogotá). It's a board game themed restaurant-bar where groups gather. You will be invited to join other groups playing game as the atmosphere is very social. It is also a favourite hunting spot for rolos interested in foreigners, so a win for everybody involved. Do know that there is increasing anger against foreigners in recent years as more tourist arrive to enjoy the country and more are choosing to stay. Particularly in Medellín where there is a growing housing crisis. So be aware of your surroundings, just as you would in any other foreign country. I guess I’m just specifically looking for reliable talent 🙂 I had a pretty bad experience here last year. as I mentioned before, I really don’t want to get into many specifics, but basically a guy hit on me on Grindr. I offered compensation. He turned that down. Saying he was generally genuinely interested. You can guess where it went from there 🙂 so yeah, now I’m more particular on who I hire. I try to find guys who have established social media presence or only fans that has a decent following. so I’ve had a few private messages from guys recommending some of the guys I posted links to which is encouraging. Do you know why? Something I have heard often from camboys and web performers is a clear delineation between "modelo" and "scort/prepago". That is a line that most of them do not cross. I also know that certain webcam companies forbid their performers contractually from selling escort services online. The ones that want to get around that show up on Grindr and Scruff when they want to make some extra cash. But many of the online performers will make it clear that they are not open to solicitation, so you need to feel that out individually. Found out from a performer that I spotted on Grindr that it closed about 3 weeks ago. It's already been done over so I couldn't even precisely figure out where it even was. I found the selection of guys online in Bogota much better, but again found Medellin more to be the city I enjoy spending more time in. Going rate ranged between 150 and 250 (pesos). Punctuality is something you really can't expect. If you expect them to be on time, be really clear. Colombians are in their own time zone regardless of what your phone says the local time is. Bogota tip: bring your guy to Takuma Cocina Show. They will love it and so will you. Medellin tip: visit Brije and get the filet mignon in Poblado. Fantastic! Most of my encounters were from mileroticos but Grindr was a good backup. Start looking up profiles on both long before you land in Colombia. If you speak Spanish, great. If not, load WhatsApp on to your laptop and bookmark Google Translate. A fraction of the guys will attempt English but it'll be bad. The more communication you can do now on a computer the better vs when you get to Colombia and are on your phone. Copying and pasting endlessly on a phone is a p.i.t.a.
