Egypt travel questions.

Recommended Posts

Hi, fellow gay travellers.
I enjoyed your report and personal experiences there in Egypt. I was definitely hard when reading the stories and shares. There are a few questions I would like to ask.

It seems that if you travel alone as a guy, just by walking alone is enough to trigger being approached by some desperate Arab men to give you some hint for extra fun and money. This seems too hot to be true. Is that really the case?  If they don't give any hint, is it safe to ask them first by "Are you married?" to initiate some fun?

In one thread, I read about desert tours with overnight camping. You "are guaranteed to have fun with staff". I am so excited to start this tour and want to know where to book this kind of tour.

As for the hotel fun, I have never seen a hotel staff open the door and start cleaning while you were in the room. Is it an arab thing that the hotel cleaning staff cleans the room during the day while you are still in the room? Again, is it ok just give them a gaze, and the fun may initiate? It is so hot to replicate the porn scene that you start hooking up in the hotel with the staff.

Thanks.

It can be hard to read the signals, lol

When I was checking in to a hotel in Dubai recently, the porter, after bringing me to the room and showing me the AC etc, then suggested that we exchange Whatsapp details.

On seeing me look at him in confusion, he said that it was so I could send him a Whatsapp message down in the lobby if I needed him to bring me something...

Despite being to Pattaya five times, it was only after giving him a polite refusal and ushering him out, that I realised that he was probably about try and hook me up with either a lady of the night, or himself!

As it was a very straight hotel, and he was in Indian guy who gave off very straight vibes, i suspect it was the former.

I was sorry after I hadn't said yes, just to see what I would get offered...

I think you were very prudent by not exchanging Whatsapp  details with somebody you just met. Dubai is not Pattaya and you could easily land yourself into some misunderstanding if not outright trouble.

It's  another thing if you subsequently met guy on corridors and exchanges winks and smiles , then I'd try but not at first contact.

Friend of mine very recently in Saigon went through similar proposal of contact exchange with somebody claiming to remember him from airport, which subsequently led him to illegal gambling den. Fortunately he regained his senses in time and escaped after they insisted he drinks some water or drink  they treated him with.
