You could push the needle in too deeply or wrongly or at the wrong angle (and end up impotent)- or accidentally inject an air bubble into a vein (fatal, I am afraid). There is a good reason why doctors and nurses are TRAINED to do it properly, you know. And I don't think your probem has anything to do with your testerone levels. You do get an erection if I remember right - just that there is insufficient blood in the glns penis to make it fully tumescent. Sounds more like a problem of blood circulation than hormones to me.
