You were so lucky to have Monty help you out HeyGay when you stayed so long and ate so well in his guest house. I have never felt that you have ever really shown much gratitude for his generosity. Never too late to thank him publicly as you have certainly attempted to vilify him a few times on various boards under various handles. My condolences to Thomas' adopted son. Yes your right Monty was very helpfull in the morning and early afternoon, I got nothing for nothing from him, it would have been a third cheaper to stay in a Condo, but I did love the wonderful many customers and the homely atmosphere, but if any one has lived with a alcholic you will know the mood swings can be very straining. Everything was paid up to date as I went along, till I left to be handed a strange bill for 100 baht per day, water and electric, for my whole stay, I told his Manager, this is the first time I have been ask to pay this in a Guest House, no one else has had to pay it, but it did get a bit nasty when he started to spead lies and Gossip, but the problem was sorted out in a friendly way in the end. I thanked him for his good food and accommodation and fun repartee, but as with many Guys, when they are at rock bottom it was a learning curve, where I found out how blessed I was, with so many wonderful loving friends, that is why I say, if any one is seriously considering taking their life, try to speak to someone even better if you dont know them personally, to just write down what your problems are to a stranger, can be the first step to getting help. Sorry, but whatever kills me, that won't be it. When my time comes I wouldn't mind going out the way Nelson Rockefeller did, gay style of course. If you gotta go, that's the way to do it. I could not agree more. Been there, done that, although I was only 20 at the time. I think the thought has crossed many a minds. Thank you for sharing your story. I was rather surprised to hear GB would not have much patients with suicide patients as he believes it is a weakness, I would imagine GB would have more compassion, I have had quite a bit of dealings with all sorts of Mental Crisis in people and I know that some guys (and we are not all strong and can sort out problems in our mind), some go for the easy option, as they say, wow its must be the hardest thing to kill yourself, I should think. So times these guys just need as they do when some one has a heart attack, electric shock treatment, to knock them back to their senses, I was once trained as a counselor for a group call Samaritans in the UK in my 20s and I had to deal with many such problem people, even though your not allowed to make out side contact with these people or say things like, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nice of you to try to lump yourself with GB and/or to re-write some history. To my recollection, GB hasn't ever been banned from other boards. As to your claim that you've gotten in trouble (banned is what I think you mean) for telling "the truth", that's simply untrue as no moderator ever banned you for either telling the truth or not telling the truth. I'm sure that GT will agree with me that a little nudging is ok, but out-and-out personal attacks are going to result in deleted posts and users placed on the moderated mode. I don't think any of us want that, so please keep it in check. Nobody is saying anything that hasn't already been said a trillion times on the various boards, so I don't see much point in rehashing it here. Personally, how someone behaves on other boards is not my concern and I really don't care. The moderators of the other boards have their own rules and their own methods of dealing with problems. My concern is this board, and as long as nobody is violating any rules here there isn't a problem. So please, let's not needlessly create any. Well, he didn't actually say the name HeyGay was used on all the boards. He didn't specify which name he used and I don't care which one he uses. We just had dinner the other night in LA and Manhattan's comes up for discussion again. And, I agree with GayButton, there is little point to continuing this thread. Since I hate to close them, I'll leave it open for now on a very close watch. And, also after having slept a good nights sleep, with a hot Italian porn star by my side (I guess money can buy love) I will say that my comments were out of line as well. I meant every word of them but should have had the control to say them nicely and as owner of the site I should not have asked someone if they were a nut. Your comments to HeyGay in the original thread were totally inappropriate and had nothing to do with the subject at hand and thus it is obvious that you have a history with him. I don't see why so many get so riled up by him or others that they whisper and gossip and almost orgasm at the sight of him. I know of one little group that huffs and puffs and goes ballistic at the sight of him. Again, I don't get it but that does not give me the right to think someone is crazy because they are obsessed with someone. I have been obsessed with Brad Pitt for years and want to know every little detail about him and even buy shitty little mags when he is on the cover to see what they say.
