It is replacing the old Pan Pacific Hotel. It is supposed to close to Siam Paragon. Here is the info I have found. I've thought about staying there (the Pan Pacific) a few times but their rates just aren't good value compared to nearby competitors, the Dusit Thani, Sofitel and Le Meridien. The Pan Pacific (soon to be Crowne Plaza) is in a fantastic location, second only to the Dusit Thani. It's on Rama IV between Suriwong and Silom Rds.
