I was bullied quite a lot. Like Expat, I was a straight A student, I'd skipped a grade and so was younger than many of my classmates, and wasn't particularly masculine. You survive, but it does leave scars.

Well, I married a woman, though she knew I was an out gay man at the time. It so happens she's my best friend and soul mate, and we decided a life together was what we wanted with all the strange baggage such a decision would entail.
