  2. In Looking for hotels for January, I booked something for the 1st night on Agoda and messaged the Venue to check rates for subsequent nights and they responded with this, which makes me feel better about going: Hi Robert. We are now a SHA Plus+ certified hotel and can be used for your first (and subsequent) night's stay. We are still waiting for the testing details from our partner hospital before we can finalise our package price. We hope to have this within the next couple of days. I will send this info to you as soon as we have it. We will always match or beat any price for staying with us that you are able to obtain elsewhere. When we receive the hospital partner details I will email you with the first night price and the price for subsequent nights. In Pattaya I like the Venue, Classroom Hotel, Ambiance and Agate.....I've stayed at a few others but these are the ones I'd return to.
  3. Not from you ๐Ÿ˜†
  4. Junior does what Junior wants.....not from the 100's or 1000's of suggestions from outsiders, clients or not. I've known him since about 2002 I think....
  5. Maybe they'll try to copy Thailand, it's now reasonable...
  6. I'd go with this explanation.... https://tattooartfromtheheart.com/tattoo-meanings/double-triangle-tattoo-the-story-about-the-design/
  7. I can't remember the last time I rented a suite because of that....117 has the most decent rooms.....but still don't go to them.
  8. here now...until Friday.
  9. They seem to have settled at new Lagoa. My friend just commented about only seeing like 1 muscle boy at lagoa and wonder where they all go now, unless they just do sites??
  10. Someone who knows the owner there , said he's going to try to make a go at it one more time. I guess with everything back to normal hours and capacities....?
  11. They are giving it another try Saturday Oct 23rd....as Clube 555
  12. #17 on this list- Casa de Porco now has a waitlist well into next year...they said since this list came out, their bookings went insane. Glad I've gotten to eat there a few times before....
  13. I have no interest in the place, was there opening night for Fragata and one other time.....meh If the guys aren't my type, they're invisible to me, same with females, I have straight friends that will ask me how such and such a place was, if there were many girls, I tell them there might have been none or 100, I don't take notice, lol
  14. Got into SP yesterday, almost everyone still wearing masks in the street and in stores. Only the workers were using them in Lagoa last night. Stores still require them to go in and business hours are back to normal. there were more clients than GP's last night, cold chilly tainy night. The guys are too delicate to go out in this weather, might mess up their hair, lol
  15. and it came back 10 mins after you posted this, was out for 7 hrs.....you slept through it, lol
  16. This AND before Christmas....most people are concentrating on shopping but usually 1 or 2 days after Christmas, it gets crazy until the middle of January....in my experience.
  17. Streptomy is absolutely correct, plus crime is at it's highest during that time. Go a couple of weeks before and see the rehearsals. Atlantico Copacabana is where I usually stay and have for years. I'm going next week and is 20usd per night with breakfast buffet for 2. No problem bringing guys to the hotel, can't say that for many places in Rio....
  18. The moral of the story: Do not marry ๐Ÿ˜†
  19. Prostitution as a profession has been legal in Brazil since 2012.
  20. Someone's perception is their reality, nothing to do with facts ๐Ÿ˜‡
  21. More than once I've seen in Italy, Spain, Mexico and Indonesia, arriving at Immigration or Customs, black guys being detained and questioned whereas their white friends weren't. I remember thinking, I'll bet it's for their skin color as there was no apparent reason. I could see the look in the officers eyes, the same look I see when I see someone I know to be racist and a black or brown person walks by. SolaceSoul, as you said you've seen worse in the D.R.....must be maddening. I sat next to Joe Clark once on a flight, the guy lean on me was based on. He had a super interesting perspective on being black, none of which i expected. He wants blacks to forget the past and move forward. He said when you live in the past you can't move forward to the future. Also, he said he hates when people say that you don't know what it's like to be black, he said he doesn't know what it's like to be white or Asian either. That he was glad of slavery, because there was no other way that he would've been on this continent and lived the life that he did. Many other things too, these just stand out in my memory. on another note, back to the topic.... I have tix to Brasil, hopefully I can make it. My mom had a light stroke a couple of weeks ago, but it changed a lot of things from her being independent to needing daily help bathing, dressing, doing physical therapy exercise and preparing her daily meals. If I go I'll be in Rio & SP Oct 11-26....
  22. It came across that way I know some guys that do 5 programas a night at this price for quantity, making 750 while the 300 muscle guy is happy with one ๐Ÿคจ I've gone with a couple of muscle guys over the last 22 yrs in Brasil and is not my thing because they are so into themselves, that's why they spend so much time working out? I like Humble guys that are cute/handsome without the superior complex. Yes, I agree..... recently when I arrived in SP, the immigration guy wanted to see my Brasilian passport. He insisted I was form Brasil and was using my USA passport for some reason. Some people think I'm from Brasil, a white Brasilian from the south and I speak portuguese good at times, since I've lived in Mexico, I'm losing/forgetting some portuguese words and default to Spanish now in those cases, that's the give away. But back to the immigration guy, once I started speaking English and he realized I was a gringo, his tone changed and he apologized for assuming I was Brasilian, so the Blue Passport does come in handy. No doubt, DR is Cuba with McDonald's and KFC
