in my case boredom, definitely not. I can imagine being bored in Bangkok even if I was there for few months. I think it was accumulation of almost serial disappointments coupled with cases of excessive greed like that of Tawan new boy above in which I blame mamasan who inserted himself into discussion uninvited. Subconsciously I just wanted out.

Day 5 Quite nice weather today. Finally session finished as I like ( and pay for) with boy going home when invited to do so. In the afternoon massage with Nut in Maha in soi 6 . Charming diminutive body builder. Reminded me he has birthday in a week and would like to have dinner with me for an occasion. Tried to complain that few days earlier when he asked me when I’m coming to Thailand I told him I don’t know yet. But got a message when I explained ‘ I told you what I wanted to tell “. Still jet lagged so in the afternoon 1 hr nap. At 19.30 meeting in Foodland with newly arrived member from Taiwan. We agreed previously we will go to Tawan for inspection on his 1st day so after catching on the latest gossip. Around 10 on Sunday evening bar was full. Considering it’s size it’s not a difficult tax to fill it up. We were greeted enthusiastically, perhaps too enthusiastically. Few previous off descended on me immediately lowering briefs which was supposed to suggest tip and asking for drinks. OK, two of veterans of my many offs sat with me and got a drink. Show started shortly with usual numbers. After each segment performers are circulating , hoping for tips again. Done as always in friendly manner but at times annoying. I learned that former resident twink Mas the masseur , one of my favorites , works now in one of soi 6 shops. I was very happy with twink I offed LT in May so asked him about repeat. Answer was business like , long time , no , short time 3000 and for 1 hr. only . Thanks God I know how is ‘no’ in English so used it . Too bad because I really liked an experience with him but at least no ticks but straightforward answer. Somebody reported recently that mamasan is trying to insert himself in off and tip negotiation., Annoying and unnecessary. Now they have another twink, quite skeletal at that but I kind of liked him and called him over, Other boys told me he is new hire and if I off him I’d be his first customer. No harm done. Of course mamasan intervened with request of 5000 tip LT for the boy. Ouch but I decided to go for it. After all novelty value, isn’t it? Both boys sitting with me were explaining something to him, I can only imagine giving him instructions of how great/stupid I’m. Short walk to Foodland to eat something . Big applause when we were leaving bar congratulating new guy his first hire. I kind of liked that. In both restaurant and in the room later it was clear he doesn’t know anything about his job description coupled with non existing English. Most expensive and most unresponsive sand bag in long time and as result worst spent 5000 since Luisiana Purchase. At least I’m victim of myself I thought in the morning. Even in breakfast room it was clear he is complete novice to the scene and surrounding counties. Sending him home I thought about myself as charity with inclination to misspend money.

that's fine . I even understand false promise of LT on the first night, just to secure deal. But on subsequent nights when he was sure to be offed ? That doesn't make any sense for me. In fact I asked him about boyfriend / girlfriend and he claimed to be single, again I don't care about the truth. Strange case of extremely handsome and pleasing guy inventing stories where plain truth would suffice. Mystery for me but at least I have great memories of our meetings.

Food was passable but twinky waiter adorable. I found that location because boy Arm from Dreamboys , now gone to Phuket apparently, invited me there in May. All I had to do was to eat and pay the bill.

Day 4 My friend is going home and I’m going to Bangkok. Breakfast together in Bay View restaurant on Brach rd. the we packed, Bolt was ordered and soon we were on our way. At Swampy we parted ways hoping to see each other in Bangkok soon as we always have fun vacationing at the same time. Train to Silom , room in Raya was already available . It must be low season as they were quite strict with 3 p m check-in in the past , even in covid time. Then to XOne to exchange some money, I noticed drop in USD since my day of arrival so decided to exchange euros instead. Upon return I met by chance former Tawan boy now falling on hard times. He told me he sleeps in Lumpini somewhere so I gave him 60 baht to buy himself a snack. In front of Raya there was another beggar who greeted me in English and feeling happy to be back in Bangkok I gave him 50 baht to which he reacted crying, serious. In the room I collapsed on the bed, jet lag still holding me .And pretty strong as I woke up only at 9 pm. After sprucing myself I went to check realm of Patpong entertainment zone. In front of Tawan I saw twink I offed in May but did not go in – another member , big fan of Tawan is coming tomorrow and we already agreed we will go there together. This time I decided to skip Jupiter , my usual bar on first evening and went to Hot Male with clear aim – to off S . After 3 nights of boys tricks I wanted somebody reliable, BS free and of known , high quality. Went down from the scene as soon as he saw me , like it was sure thing I came for him but more or less that was a case. Spotted few attractive boys and distributed few tips before we went to Foodland for a meal and then back to Raya. Finally 97% satisfaction, I noticed he built up his muscles since May, fact he confirmed. 3% of discount is for skipping breakfast but at least he stay in the room sleeping , sexily uncovered. Finally , on my 4th night proper LT without drama, 4K very well earned. No , we did not discuss money, with exception of our first meeting from now gone New Twilight we never do.

Day 3 Today my forum friend and me treated ourselves with 350 baht buffet breakfast in LK hotel. Very nice but on my side bit of extravagant as I was not even that hungry so I did not utilize their excellent offerings in full. Better part came on our way back as my friend opted for foot massage and I decided to try it as well , first time in my long an happy life. We entered some nice looking shop on Beach Rd and lady there seeing poor state of my feet suggested “ two ladies , one massage one foot repair “. Smart business and they worked hard to earn shop’s fee and their tips. Lazy afternoon with some strolls toward Tukcom and jet lag induced nap in the room. It was darkening when I went to 7/11 to buy some beer as I , true to what I said above decided I’m there to get fun , not to get even decided to invite the same boy for third night in row. Knowing what happened previous two night I did not had any extravagant hopes. Send him a Line about my plans of taking him and immediately got happy response with thank you and smiley face When back in the room I realized that 7/11 gave me 80 baht change too much . I don’t get rich from keeping it but girl at cash may get poorer so right away I went back to return money. On my way I met Dreamboys mamasan and pay her 500 off fee asking to keep boy for me until I come at midnight to pick him up. By time I was back in the room I got another message that he knows about it already. At 7 pm we went to Dicks at Jomtien Complex to meet bkkmfj for dinner . No prize for guessing what I had. Nice and long conversation then stroll through Complex, most bars were very sparsely patronized so we were greeted enthusiastically while passing by. I even noticed one handsome , long legged guy sitting in front of one bar and thought if I were in Pattaya longer I’d be glad to get bit closer to those legs and see what’s between them. But generally boys there are neither my friend’s nor mine type and we decided to go back to Boyztown to see again show at XBoys at 11.00. Very progressive one with some f…k on customer’s lap by circulating couple , plenty of skin visible and great fun. Just before midnight we crossed the soi to Dreamboys where I called my guy immediately over for a drink, my friend also found some suitable drinking companion. Not long after we were seen marching ( did you hear that floridarob?) to our hotel. It may raise many a brew questioning why I offed again boy who kind of deceived me last two nights. Reason is plain and simple , we got along great, conversation was interesting and bed activities very rewarding so social , so to speak part was extremely pleasant and rewarding on all three occasions. It was business part which was disappointing and today was no exception. First we talked about him visiting me in Bangkok after I return from Cambodia, he had only one condition, I will pick him up from the airport which is easy task. I liked idea very much since as I said I liked his company although because of goings last two evenings I treated it as distant possibility rather than firm , hope generating commitment. Then he asked if I can give him 2000 more than we agreed. No problem said I but only if you stay with me till morning – I like an idea of paradise. Then we proceed to stamp collection activities and when done, again almost on the dot at 2 he said he must go citing some reason of dubious validity. I tried to offer him 1000 extra just for 1 hr longer but he was firm , 2000 is ok he said , I need to go. So much about need for money expressed 2 hours earlier. Whole thing was very mysterious, false promises of longer stay without any desire of keeping them, very punctual departure and yet trying to fish more money. What was the reason I don’t know, jealous boyfriend / girlfriend, some medicine to take at the same time, somebody at home to take care of, no idea ? On another had as I said , social and bed part were extremely pleasant and rewarding. It reminded me Cambodian Prince fiasco from Jan 2023, equally charming and also trying to extract money without much of commitment to earn them. So I was left alone in the room with vague hope he may show up in Bangkok for few days together my assessed probability of it happening was between zero and nil. We will see who was right when I return from Phnom Penh. So I finished day 3 satisfied but not happy.

at first look you may be right but it's still too simplistic and smells pre-conceived notion more than cold analysis. With 33 trip so far before that one I never encountered deceit in such masse and yes , occasionally in the past I rewarded bad behaviour still with tip agreed. Reason is simple - bad behavior is ( was ? ) extremely rare and commotion resulting from it may be not worth the trouble. In Nov 2014 report I described in detail my worst off ever , situation with boy who refused to undress and get off the phone for 40 minutes before I kicked him out and he still demanded full tip even audaciously called mamasan enlisting her help. As result of commotion whole Om Yim hotel was put on middle of the night alarm and it still cost me 1000 baht to calm him down ( we agreed on 2000 in the bar). Saving even 2000 was not worth an experience. Second is that , as we will hear in following days , some boys gladly accept or even suggest you reduce their tip, only to be released much sooner than agreed. Money is saved but experience spoiled. I like LT and guy going home in the morning after breakfast together when I tell him he is free. This is what I go there for and what I'm prepared to pay for it as well. Issue for me is not money , is wasted opportunity. as peer gossip , for sure they talk to each other about clinets the same way we talk about them here but again , I have hard time to buy that explanation since all deceivers this trip were new hires for me and , as we learn soon , coming from bars where I must have good record with multiple , trouble free hires like Moonlight, Tawan and Hot Male. Who from there would instruct them to threat me as sucker when other their boys are great to excellent ?

then may be it's better not comment on LT issues as it sounds like virgin extolling virtues (or lack of them ) of free sex

I agree, on that trip I think I was caught off guard by what turned our to be was serial execution as we will see soon. Its one thing to have 1 or even three bad apples per trip but if that happen almost every other time id borders on disease. Based on my experience even if we warn them about reduced fee some still promise LT only to renege at first possibility. What was interested, I did not have that kind of problem with few guys I offed out of bar system ie. freelancers or bar/massage boys acting as freelancers at day time . Bottom line of this though is the fact that we go there to have fun , not to develop business strategies dealing with wayward guys. Of course not seeking LT offs is solution, some members use strategy of asking for LT option when in the room. But at end of day not seeking offs at all is also solution. Enjoying massage boys only in their shops for example. Still it's a bit different experience from waking up next to naked boy , often with morning wood. Question remains in such case -it's worth to travel whole day only to enjoy breakfast in world renowned UNESCO listed Foodland Patpong ?

I was there month in January and 8 days in May and while those type of behavior happened before it was very rare and anecdotic. This time it was repetitive disaster to a point that last Saturday in the morning I caught myself thinking, " o my God , still 5 days before I go home " instead of usual " O my God, only 5 more days and I need to go home". This even surprised myself. No, I'm in no mood to look for excuses that boys have hard lives etc. There was time I was bleeding heart for them .
