  1. I'd say so, it's soi 6 after all but not Prime , sole exception
  2. but remorks and tuktuks are cheap, specially when one is using passap app. I second your assessment of Space Hair and it's boys
  3. it's ego booster for guys when we complement them on their built, handsomeness or size/ shape of their thingy. I recall this conversation : me : " you are very handsome " , ' no I'm not " , ' for me you are" , " I know" and a blush worth 500 of extra tip
  4. In Maha massage soi 6 there diminutive guy who looks like miniature of full sized bodybuilder with steely muscles. His name /nick is Nut
  5. Really? tell them ' me no fuck you, you no fack me ' and they should understand. Contrary to what we think I heard from boys that they are being offed by either guys or girls for just company , drinking , dancing and/ or cuddling quite often
  6. 10.30-10.45 so most likely you won't make it. But before you start crying / swearing keen in mind that both Saturday and Sunday are 'dry ' religious holidays and most likely bars will be closed on both days. Definitely Jupiter and Moonlight will. Go on Monday and report on Tuesday what did you see. Please
  7. people like to complain about everything. Mr. Fisher can stay for his 5 years , no worries while people using new rules don't know if in year or three rules may be changed. That's first. Second, as with all investments sometimes we win , sometimes we lose. We all bought non-refundable tickets or book non-refundable hotel rooms only to see them going on 30% off sale 4 days later . Or bought a visas only to see requirement removed week later. Moses post underscores it. As for 'new' tax rules, quite a few complaining expats are screaming murder not realising that those mirror exactly rules at their own country. Definitely my case ( rules , not screaming)
  8. fascinating and thank you for bringing it up. On another hand is noting unusual as urban landscapes tend to be constantly evolving. My first visit in Boyztown was in Nov 2013 and it did not change since then other than different occupants in some places though. For me both links worked. as for sign, since it's in the open , subject to elements , rust, paint peeling off , venues being opened and closed , not unusual there was need to change it periodically.
  9. don't think too much as it causes headache for uninitiated
  10. of course it does and for some bars it may be unsurmountable obstacle to survive till next high season - see sad fate of Sol
  11. for me distinction of Tomahawk is that it was only bar in Thailand where I was brought in by tout on the street
  12. Strait (Straight ? ) Settlement's ones should be particularly interesting
  13. hopefully as Dick's , not something else
  14. relatively early closing (midnight )was their feature for last few years . I guess most of their guys have other duties at daytime
  15. Yes, bordering on dishonesty when client is left to fend for himself
  16. thank you for a lead, it's one of those mobile places ?
  17. Rest assured, there's whole brigade here. If course we never start thread about where to find the best because surely we wouldn't agree but common denominator is , we love it. Beauty of that dish is that almost everywhere it tastes bit different, even if ingredients are more or less the same , proportion are not and it ranges from sweet to outright hellishly spicy.
  18. if you are there most likely you will be first one to discover. In meantime go to Salt and Pepper behind the TukCom
  19. some rooms in QuarterSalaDaeng, 21SalaDaeng and Furama Sathorn have full kitchen or kitchenette as well
  20. very accurate. I happened to be in USA on that Saturday and after watching comments on TV hypocrisy was first which came to my mind.
