Bus service now available from Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya for 350 baht
vinapu replied to reader's topic in Gay Pattaya
that's handy and I can imagine increase in that service as it becomes more popular -
I finished watching Cute Pie today, too melodramatic and slow moving for my taste but girls should love it. kissing scenes by far longest of any I saw in Thai BL so far, I'm surprised it went by censors

Corruption watchdog fired for being ‘unusually wealthy’
vinapu replied to reader's topic in The Beer Bar
there is saying that best policemen are former criminals so may be it was right place to work for such corrupt person -
You are neither. Of course your scenario may not work way envisioned but harsh times apart from tormenting populations also enable to find savings, improvements and efficiencies in areas when we did not even suspect it will be possible. It's to to advocate beauty of hard times, rather if they are coming or actually are is to look at how to did ourselves from that first and only then to look back what went wrong

Peter of course you are right but unfortunately reality of our world is that even in best of times there are 100's of millions who are be out of gainful work and have difficulty putting food on the table for their families, day after day. Those people will not even worry about their electricity bills because they don't have an access to any. As for good recession, I'm great -grandson of poor farmer who after First World War was so heavily indebted that was already ready to just abandon farm and go to America to seek better life. Then hyperinflation hit and he was able to repay is debt as family tradition maintains, by selling few geese. That farm was in hands of my relatives till 2015 when they retired from farming and sold all. Subsequently his granddaughter, my mother was able to meet my father and produce me. So forgive me that I really believe in good recessions.

I agree based on my personal experience although it's on expensive side.

those days they are mostly Myanmarese, Khmer and Lao but your point is still valid.

look at bright side , 20% unemployment means that 4 out of 5 people in the subway car are going to or from work less time in the mall means more sitting on the bench in the park and reading never waste a good recession somebody wise one said

How are moneyboys different than say 20 years ago?
vinapu replied to Olddaddy's topic in Gay Thailand
I like your recent posts about Pattaya survival and BoyzBoyzBoyz in your blog and I'm sorry to hear you did not like your experience there as for me it's still 'must go ' place in Pattaya, even with those dressed boys and screaming ladies -
why you did not go down to have massage in the Complex or fire some app and invite soothing boy? or just stroll along the beach as cheaper option to see some life and bodies ?

Guys most of you may not be aware but Lurkerspeaks, poster who initiated that thread 5 years ago and who was so excited with his first trip to Thailand ever, passed away during that trip , few days after arrival and day or two before His birthday. Hope He is in better place now

funny thing I agree with you almost fully even if my particular experience with money ' extortion " by the boys is quite opposite. But I can live with fact that I'm in exception category when comes to the matter. My statistic sample is very small , just 3 guys received money and one smartphone. Two out those three did not even ask, I did it on my own will. One asked but only once. All three confirmed reception by sending me a picture of them holding money which is good idea as it's always possibility of scam and stolen identity. One who got money on my own will did not even exchanged contact info when we met after the fact (whole thing was helped with by common friend). I went through list of contacts on Line today and only 1/3 of guys from there ever asked for handouts, exactly 8 out of 24. Other 16 still have their chance for refusal. So why I agree ? Those who asked were out of blue and often very persistent including one who wanted no less than 20000 and sent me bank account info right away. It's never pleasant to say ' no' even if request is entirely unwarranted, it's why your warning should be taken seriously

You don't need to pay that much , just say that you paid 10000 and wait to be stoned or something

I noticed that too, not quite gone but much rarer now than even 5 years ago. I saw one in Dec and one with removed mooks in May -
probably because it's much easier , thus more common, to have good sex than good luck in love, specially distance one. So good experience in the first in prevailing over bad in the second.

who cares about customers ? we are there for a boys not their clients. But if you ask I see 2 differences more ladies in the bars but mercifully not in massages (yet?) 20 years ago customers had their wallets and presumably cocks and were looking at the scene or conversing with their companions if any. Now, cocks and wallets are still there but smartphones are fighting with boys on the stage or beside for attention -
repetitive yes but boring ? no subject ever generates that much heat like money, specially other's people money. It's why we have so many posts about tips like you noticed, we always had and in future we will. Interest in beauty of Grand Palace or Ayuthaya ruins fades fast when somebody posts that his boy rejected generous 1000 baht offer for long time and counteroffered greedily with 10000. I don't even want to start with thinking what would happen here if that 10000 was agreed upon and paid

when GW Bush was elected did we expect that next president will be black ? And when he was elected did we expect that next one will be Orange Overlord ?

I wanted to say that but you were faster, Then foreigners were rarity , now , at least in some bars they seem to dominate. Biggest difference is that then they had smile and cock, now they have smile, cock and smartphone which is often more rigid than their cock. -
I also have my doubts how straight those North American guys you mentioned really are. Specially those who top but not bottom as viagra requires a bit of arousement to start working, no ?

I have that feeling we are looking at the future First Family when gerontocrats grip on the Democratic party will be released.
