  1. hopefully it was something like Tokyo-Bangkok flight ?
  2. last few years I was there in both high / Dec / and low / Jun, Sept , Oct / seasons and would be hard pressed to state I saw much of difference in availability of boys. Sure it was more tourists but also more boys in bars in high season and popular ones were as hard to get in either time . So yes , much more tourists but competition for guys - urban legend IMHO
  3. My life is easy, I don't generally exchange contact information with bar and massage guys I meet in Thailand and don't keep in touch with them when I'm home . Few times I did, I rather regretted it but at least no no financial cost to me. On another hand when I engage their services in Thailand I make sure I pay them well and treat them even better but when it's over , it's over till next time if any. Any additional request i.e. taxi money is joy kill and kiss of death with very few exception and I'm not shy to tell them that I think they were compensated very well . In reality very few problems as they are decent enough to see a bit premium over going rate and seem to be content with that.
  4. either one will do, one night only and you don't get much of sleep if you planning on checking action so no need to spent much money. I'd stay in Nantra Silom in soi 8 , cheap and no problem with guests, steps from Tawan. For soi Twilight and Moonlight you may also consider Suriwongse or Raya
  5. both of you are welcomed
  6. that's the Silom Plaza perhaps , on corner of Silom and Narathiwas. It's where Arena is so no harm done if you mix up those two :Complex and Plaza
  7. been there , done that. Some boys are just to fast to secure our boyfriendhood and after 2-3 offs they think they owe us. I had similar experience with one of Tawan boys and it did not finish well when I decided to off somebody else from bar. Don't cry because of interrupted skyping, chances are financial requests would follow. Butterflying has it's advantages !
  8. but I doubt it's way they see nudity in Thailand where often I'm surprised when even go-go with lots of experience subconsciously are trying to cover their jewels with hand or towel even if we just had a prolonged shower together
  9. I saw that sign, looks sturdy and makes serious impression but whether it conveys truth or just it's erected to soothe rumors only erector , whoever he is, can tell. Don't worry too much , if you there , you can check on soi daily. If you're not , nothing you can do unless you start preparing for a next trip. Then check this forum and chances are there will me members on the ground with updates. We are worrying if soi will be there for us next time but I'd focus on next time, not soi. Even if it eventually closes there are and will be alternatives, perhaps just steps away.
  10. catering just guys or girls as well ?
  11. Whatever those rumors are I sleep well convinced that whenever I will be back soi still will be there for me. And no, I'm not planning any trip soon.
  12. at least boy behind that counter looks very cute ( it's why I liked Jasper's post, not because price increase - in case of 2nd drink it's 50% more ) 200 for second drink I read as invitation to linger on. 300 now I read as message 'have a drink, watch the show, off boy and get out of here, both of you ". Not a bad idea after all as 400 is less than 550 =350+200 for first and second drink before recent increase, I always try to look at bright side, LOL
  13. I agree with your reasoning but can answer for myself since I eat quite a bit of western food there. Contrary to what one may think I don't eat eggs and toast at home for breakfast so find it at least refreshing , not to say exotic to start my day with such a breakfast for 1-2 weeks I'm there. I know after 2 weeks I'd be tired. The same with pizza which I don't eat at all with exception of one at Madrid Tavern , seriously it's only place in the entire world I eat pizza and I stated it on this forum many times before While I can agree that Thai food is most delicious in the world I find dishes often too spicy , too seafoody and too saucy for my taste so enjoy it only to a degree. I can eat chicken with cashew nuts daily but from time to time I like to dilute it with Western food like schnitzel rather than with other local specialties but I snack plenty on the street, pork belly on a skewer being my favorite. In general I don't pay much attention to food as long as is edible , so yes , it amazes me that some people can discuss varied dishes at length but I understand that this is important to them the same way like say, leaf tea is important to me ( my home is tea bag free 100% of the time )
  14. Try and when you see you don't get sick you will not be afraid anymore. In most cases they prepare only as much as they think they sell so no danger food is spoiled - at end of day uneaten stuff will be eaten by family. Specially on busy streets with lots of passing traffic you are in good hands eating on the street. We are advised against having intimacies with strangers and see what happens when we arrive in LOS. Don't listen to scaremongers.
  15. That the great piece of advice. I learned that lesson few times , perhaps all of us did at one point or another. We see star we got hots for but because other commitments we pass an opportunity and next time guy of our desires is gone or even worse, went already with another client. Sure , booking a time with guy in question is an option but again, learned may times , it may not work even with boys we are already well known to. so yes, grab what you can right away and hold to it !
  16. you have my support on the issue, abuse is abuse
  17. unfortunately not any time soon due to other plans and commitments but hope springs eternal
  18. 2020 is only 14 months away
  19. great destinations , all three places, you will be happy even without boys
  20. it's all we need , just one guy
  21. you are right but Magic Hands is worth trying as well , kind of unheralded but great place. Thank you for introducing Magic Touch here, I don't think anybody ever mentioned the place, hope Nasherih gives them another chance
  22. delete, already answered above
  23. one day you will nail him Alizizou, you are not that far so your chances are greater
  24. agree on both counts
  25. Maxi is my place for schnitzel served with mushroom sauce. Madrid is best for pizza, several kinds , all on thin crust. Chicken with cashew nuts , my favorite Thai dish I like the best in Oasis on Suriwong, just before Tarntawan hotel. Foodland is not fancy place but they have good deal on breakfast and dozen or so bar guys I invited there over years all liked their Thai foods as well. No need for menu in street stalls - just point what you want , cross yourself just in case ( just kidding ) and eat. Late at night at Thainya you may find yourself eating at one of those makeshift stalls in company of bar girls and boys so you may not return to your hotel alone.
