Do you think he enjoys being silent witness to conversation you have with your friends in language he doesn't know or barely speaks ? Or even if he understands , subject of conversation may be one he is not interested in , doesn't have any knowledge of or even worse yours and your friends sexcapades. One can see such scenes in bars on daily basis, farangs in lively conversation and beside boy bored to death It's exactly out of respect for boy I'd not drag him with me and my friends. Chances go-go boy likes show in another go-go bar are minimal too so he won't be happy and you need to pay for his drink , better to give him that 300-400 baht and invite to make grand tour of Patpong market in meantime ( an idea one of my boys actually boldly suggested )

I agree that instead of worrying about late night commuting for Jomtien part of Pattaya whoring is better to stay right there although for me it's pure theory since I always stay in Boyztown and only Jomtien adventure I had was early afternoon short time with one of Bamboo bar boys and then massage in now closed Derby Massage

while you are right , in Bangkok there are so many taxis that person willing only to pay meter shouldn't have a problem finding willing taxi within 2-3 minutes. Once I was leaving BBB Inn at 3 a.m. during heavy deluge and even in such conditions in dead of the night taxi arrived at curb in 20 seconds and I noticed few free ones approaching ( 20 seconds was enough for me to get completely wet and yes , I paid flat fee requested 500, I was prepared to pay even 600 ). But other than that only times I paid flat fee in BKK was 1-2 trips from Suriwong to Malaysia hotel and even that I haggled down to 100 while meter is 70.

What if I want boy but just not right now because I'm bar hopping with another forum member ChristianPFC? I don't want drag him with us for this or that reason so he must wait for me to pick him up. Sure he can dress and wait outside or even be directed to come to my hotel but on humanitarian grounds I don't mind if he stays in bar , being eye candy for others and perhaps earns tip or two from other patrons. But I expect him to be there ready to go when I return to pick him up. It's why MonBoy would not have a chance with me , but judging by numazu's narrative I would be loser by being so strict with my rules so sometimes it pays to be flexible. I like Jupiter system where boys who are booked or not available for an off given night don't sport number tags but still parade in their barely covered glory for all to enjoy.

perhaps you are setting it too low, I never have this sort of problems because A/c in the room but rarely I set it lower than 24 , usually higher. few times had problems after bus / car trip because driver fixed temperature too low, sudden move from 20 bus interior to 33 outside may hurt your resistance As for cold lasting a week , my grandmother used to say , if you cure it, it will go away after week , if you medicate yourself , should go away after 7 days

grab it. You can easily spend 3-4 days in Luang Prabang and vicinity and use other 2 days for trip to Plain of Jars in Phonsavan. Can be done in 1 long day but not advisable as it's long drive.

you are not only one who does that, I had quite a few trips , not only to Thailand based on such impulse. Some e-mail with offer , short time to make a decision and deal sealed . Works with hotels sometimes as well - for my Jun 2016 trip I got an offer from Expedia for Raya I couldn't refuse and then I was forced to worry about ticket but for Jun is easy

I prefer my system of picking up boy later to dragging him through the bars as bar boys rarely are interested in being in another bar so not much fun for them and more expenses / extra drink / and less freedom for you. depends on exchange rate I like that attitude, when flying to Thailand I know I'm not doing that in order to have a good sleep

we do , it's labelled 'time'. I agree it's difficult and doesn't work always but time does it's work and that , in a sense, is a blessing

this can be said about many of us , working folks. We like the paycheque, we may even like going to work but certainly we like going home from work better. And probably it helps boy's self esteem if they can separate mentally work part from pleasure component. Sure , we clients can use some passion but asking for that in exchange for 1000 or even 3000 baht is perhaps too much.
