"And what'about drinking beer ban ?" It all depends on the intent behind the ban. If they are trying to save the smokers and/or drinkers from harming their own health, than the ban is logical even if not practical especially in the case of beer. If they are trying to protect society in general and more specifically those around the smokers, than it is extremely logical and in many countries is working to the benefit of all involved. But in the second case, it does not make very much sense to ban beer drinking as it causes none or very little harm to those around the drinker unless they get drunk and behave badly. The smoke from the smoker is not only harming the smoker but also all those around through the second hand smoke. I am very passionate about second hand smoke because I grew up in a household where my mother (God rest her soul) smoked three packs a day and even though she lived to be 86 her health was not very good for her last ten years. But also my health as I have gotten older has been adversely affected from living in that environment for 17 years even though I have never smoked.

I hope the above measures work to cool down the baht. In less than a year, the cost of my time in Thailand has gone up over 10%. Of course with all the isolationist actions the present US government is taking, the efforts of the Thai government may not be enough to halt the slide of the U.S. dollar vs. the baht!!!

Looks like Koh Samet has been spared at least for the time being. It's a nice place to go, easy to get to, and very gay friendly. But I am very much in favor of limiting and eliminating smoking as much as possible.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully some day (sooner than later) there will be a similar establishment nearby with gentlemen or not so gentle gentlemen!

It's nice to hear that there is a go-go near Jomtien. I have spent some time in that area and have not seen it. Could you please elaborate a little more as to its location? Not familiar with VT7?

Interesting article. So the soapy massages are causing the city to sink but keeping the economy afloat!! What to do??

Actually we may be helping increase the birth rate through all of the off fees and tips to straight guys. Not to mention the food and hotel bills we pay. So I think we are doing our part!!

Agate is a delightful choice in the complex and has two nice pools and a fairly nice but limited buffet breakfast. All at a reasonable cost.

Is the cup half full or is it half empty? Or is there even a cup!

Thank you Christian for giving me a good laugh! "and I had to tell chatty boys to shut up during sex." I can just imagine you in this scene and I start laughing again!!- 103 replies

www.musicmassage.net. If he lives up to what he offers, it could be quite a wonderful experience, And his body and looks certainly attracts me. Perhaps someone like vinapu would also be attracted to his services. If he is still active next time I am in town, I will try to make an appointment! PS Somehow my message got cut off and didn't post this last part above?

Thank you Divine Madman for your wonderful report and all of the comments it has elicited. (Somehow when I first started on this site, I read your name as "Divine Madame" which seems a bit more regal! I imagined you as a glorious aging drag queen)' Adding to the mix of Bangkok massage offerings, has anyone tried "Pong-Music Massage" he has a lovely instagram account: pong_musicmassages and a web page

Thanks so much for the great report!! As for the tip for a "special", is it 1000 for 60 min; 1500 for 90 and 2000 for 120 or just 1000 for any length session? Looks like an interesting location to check out this and the other spa shops in that area, nearby to the Pinnacle Hotel.

Interesting idea but seems a little on the expensive side for an initial introduction?!

Film "Call Me By Your Name" -- BKK premiere Dec 14
santosh108 replied to DivineMadman's topic in Gay Thailand
Keep your eyes out for "God's Own Country". It's another great new gay movie playing in the US and Europe. Not sure where else. It is a happy version of "Brokeback Mountain. Looking forward to seeing "Call Me by Your Name" in NYC when I return in a few days! -
I stayed there earlier this year and the staff was not only very gay friendly but also appeared and acted very gay.

Condemnation of "disgusting farangs" in this Land of Smiles...

Isn't there a saying: "Two wrongs don't make a right"? Or maybe both above pictures participants can claim that they were photo-shopped! -

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. Freedom often equals "free dumb". -
The Jim Thompson documentary should be interesting, but l'm waiting for the documentary: "Mekhin - the Man and the Legend" with a cameo appearance by Vinapu!
