    Jet Lag

This is a great topic with some great suggestions. Since we all have different bodies and react to the same things differently, it is nice to have so many alternatives to try until we find the one that is best for us. As for myself, long flights are more and more a drag on my body and mind also as I try gracefully to advance in years. Coming from the east coast of the US involves 20+ hours of flight time to arrive in BKK. I have tried many different remedies to alleviate the jet lag so I can be back to "normal" quickly. The best for me has been a homeopathic remedy called "No-Jet-Lag". You take the first tablet 2 hours before departure and than another tablet every two hours until arrival and the last one 2 hours after arrival. If you sleep, just take one when you awake and continue with the 2 hour routine from there. Of course, little or no alcohol, modest amounts of food during the flight and staying well hydrated with water will increase the benefits. Upon arrival I have found that my mind is more clear - not so jumbled and disoriented. And my sleep pattern is still upset, but much less so than if I do not use this. Also bowel movements are still a bit confused for a couple of days. But these annoyances seem to also dissipate more quickly I have tried melatonin and also Sleepytime and other herbal tea remedies during the flight, but they always give me a nasty head ache when I wake up. As I do not sleep well on flights (unless I get a really good deal on a fully reclining seat!} I have found that a simple acetaminophen PM (diphenhydramine HCl) works very well. Hope this info is useful for someone. We all want to be ready for action as soon as possible!!!

    Jet Lag

4 hour erection doesn't sound like a "light dose", but the nuns might enjoy it!
  3. vinapu: "very possible you are right, it will be long before I'll take phone to Thailand or in fact to any vacation" You don't bring a phone with you on vacation? How do you survive in this modern day and age???
  4. Such fresh information and written so clearly! May you have many more wonderful days and, of course, share them with us!
  5. Amazing trip report, vinapu. So much valuable detail! How do you have time to so much!? How long does it take to write such a fantastic report?
  6. Maybe, hopefully, they are planning to replace those lovely palm trees they seemed to have removed with nice new ones in each of those holes on the ocean side of the new walkway!?
  7. In March I spent ten days in Siem Reap and for two of those days I used the services of Sareth of Siam Roads. We had a most delightful time. He was very knowledgeable, very fluent in English, a lot of fun and witty, and gay which made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. We had a most delightful time and I thoroughly enjoyed his company as a tour guide. It felt really nice to meet him and I felt good that the money I was spending was going to help support such a wonderful, kind and nice person. I wish Moses the best with Siam Roads. It is a win-win situation for all involved!
  8. I like all the great suggestions for selecting from the line-up. But when there are ten or more guys it can seem a bit overwhelming. How much time can you take to select someone? 1 or 3 or 5 minutes or longer??
  9. If tastes were universal, the world would be very boring!
  10. Love these pics with such beautiful tattoo! Which places have more or mostly guys with tattoos? Not only do I like the way they look but they are also good ways to start a conversation a touch and feel...
  11. Thanks for the great report! What is the drink price and the off fee?
  12. "B-Boys always good and a fucking finale." Where is B-Boys? Sounds good!
  13. What gay friendly accommodations are recommended in the Sunee Plaza area? Are the Flamingo Hotel or Mosaik Apartment good choices?
  14. Come to New York! Several of the inexpensive Asian male massage shops offer water massages on a table after you have finished or been finished with your oil or lotion massage. Quite nice!
  15. And there is another benefit for seniors, one of the cards (MRT) is half price! I bought that card first and than tried to buy the senior discount card at Silom station for the BTS system but was told they do not have senior discount cards!?
  16. Fish massage - very popular in Cambodia! You put your bare feet in a large tank of water full of little fish who really seem to enjoy nibbling on the dead skin on your feet! Saw it, but never tried it.
  17. A number of years ago I went to Babylon and put my things in a locker in their locker room and locked it with the key they gave me. A little while later I came back to find a local guy standing in front of my open locker going through my clothes! When he saw me approach, he stopped and walked away. I checked my things and nothing was missing. I got their just in time. I never went back.
  18. On Agoda there is a BB House with similar pictures as above and it is indeed just south and nearby Tui's! There is also a BB House Beach Residence which indeed is a bit further away and somewhat similar pictures but not the same.
  19. Sounds just like another religion closer to home. Good and bad are universal.
  20. Very interesting. But I wonder, how do they get these statistics?
  21. Just noticed in Utopia-Asia, Siem Reap that a new gay club is opening in Siem Reap called H & DB started by the Dreamboys group. Supposed to open soon, Pre-opening party was scheduled on July 7. They have their own web site http://dreamboysgroup.com/ and several Instagram listings. Anyone have more onfo? Looks good!
  22. For those interested in the variety of the use of the word fuck in English, check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAvt9GwW-bo Does Thai or any other languages have so much versatility with this one word?
  23. For a real healthy and fresh raw meal, try a salad you design yourself at the Wooden Box half way between Jomtien and downtown on Tappraya Rd next to the courthouse. So fresh, organic, many choices of items. Had many wonderful lunches there and at a very reasonable price!
  24. Spent a week at Sansuk in March. Lovely large clean bright corner room on upper floor for 1500 bt/night. Breakfast and sauna included. The owner was most hospitable and gave me a very interesting and comprehensive tour of the sauna. The staff were also very friendly and willing to attend to my needs quite well. The food was quite good and plentiful. At that time it seemed to be mostly older farangs in the sauna. But I did not spend too much time there. I did see one cute young African fellow come in one late afternoon with a young white guy.
  25. Sunil Pant and the Blue Diamond Society have been the main movers for getting the legal LGBTQ rights in Nepal. However still most of the village populations are very conservative. I feel that gay marriage is still many years away in Nepal.
