  1. Sunrise Tacos on the corner of Silom Soi 4 for Mexican food which I've always enjoyed Lay Lao on Silom Road for great Thai Food Ros'Niyom in the basement level of Silom Complex also has decent Thai food, and there are many other restaurants on that level (as well as scattered around the complex) Jungko Bameekiaw on Convent Road for simple and tasty noodles (also a plethora of street food stall and numerous restaurants on this street) Ringer Hut near Thaniya Road for Japanese food Rolling Ribs at Le Meridien was quite good, but a bit pricey 90 Grams at Quarter Silom I've heard is quite good (pizza) but I haven't tried yet And there are many restaurants in Silom Edge which I've yet to try. Hopefully this helps. The great thing about Silom (or Bangkok/Thailand in general) is that there are a plethora of options of many different cuisines and differing price points. Let us know how you go
  2. Can vouch for Somtum Der! It's usually best after a visit to Senso (which is practically next door).
  3. This also works sometimes when searching for hotels on google maps.
  4. Muay Thai fighter bodies are probably one of my most favourite type of bodies 🤤😍 delicious!
  5. I usually go with whoever is cheaper, usually it is Agoda and I've never had any issues with them in the past, but sometimes trip.com, Expedia or booking directly can be cheaper - I just usually stay from the OTA I don't really know and stick to the bigger companies. Woody is great, I've used his services once.
  6. Thanks for all of the suggestions, guys - looks like a day trip will be sufficient!
  7. I have started to plan out my next Thailand trip (26 days is just not enough ) and have always wanted to visit Ayutthaya. I just want to get a general consensus on whether it would be worth spending 1 or 2 nights there (I would catch the train) or just visit as a day trip. Thanks!
  8. Damn.. 3,300,000,000 THB !

    Kissing

This is true. A place I went to where it was clearly sign-posted and verbally mentioned that sexual services are not available, well, next minute, the masseur's dick was inside me.. so go figure. Let the guy make the first move though.
  10. How interesting. Quite far away, says permanently closed on google maps, but their X account is recently active. Looks like they've renovated the building they are in if you compare google street view to the photos they've posted. Some further probing says there is a shuttle bus from Jomtien at Bamboo Bar. I'm sure they have their reasons, but I wonder why it is in the middle of nowhere? (well, not nowhere, looks like a residential/farmland area). Some of their posts are in English so I assume it would be foreigner friendly.
  11. Just do both, I usually do. Not every boy can though, so best to ask first.
  12. I think @bkkmfj2648 is an expert in this
  13. I am the same, also I sleep terribly if there is someone in the bed with me. I have done long time though, I think maybe 3 times.
  14. I'll be following this thread with interest as I was actually thinking about visiting Hua Hin on my next Thailand trip. I always aim to visit at least one new place each trip in addition to the usual Bangkok/Pattaya..

I've had an extremely good time with Alex, but take this with a grain of salt or as they say 'your milage may vary'.
  16. This is my opinion only and other folks will have differing opinions - but why would you want to spend your month-long holiday with a singular guy when there are literally hundreds (thousands?) of guys readily available for you? Sure, you can start building a list of regulars, but there are just so many lovely guys out there! 🤤
  17. Everyone has different goals, some prefer to spend money on objects, and others on experiences. I think your friend's comments were uncalled for tbh. Live your life the way you see fit. I mean, are marble tiles and gold tapware going to fuck your ass and make you cum?
  18. and stay at the Capella
  19. Thank you for sharing Whilst not everything went to plan, you navigated it like a champ and came out on top. The reality is that not every aspect of our trips is going to be perfect and things are not always going to go to plan - your report demonstrated an example of what the reality could be like, and I appreciated your vulnerability in sharing with us. If you happen to be back in January, let me know
  20. Wow, great choices at Chance! I will keep this in mind for my upcoming trip.
  21. Also, don't dispose of your boarding pass - this needs to be presented along with your passport at immigration.
  22. Fair call!
  23. Too bad the off fee is so high though 😭
