    Tokyo: Re:Born

Nice reports Joizy, is this your Sakaki https://md.gvdb.org/20345/ ? I def remember him from a number of JGVs over the last few years
  2. I think the bar you are thinking of is Bamboo bar

    Doing KL

4 nights is more than enough for KL. Don't forget Batu Cave and OTOT2 sauna
  4. I have seen 2 youngish farang fighting over a boy, even as recently as the main Songkran day on April 19 in Jomtien complex It wasn't so much a fight as a tug-o-war, and i don't think the boy was actually interested in either, he was just loved-up songkran style and having too good a time with friends! Back in my early days visiting Pattaya i recall being in Le Cafe Royale late at night with my boy of the day and a boorish farang came up to our table and offered to pay my boy double whatever I was paying! Thankfully I was 40 years younger than the boor at that time, so the boy chose to stay with me!
  5. Pre Covid both Fly Dubai and Qatar used to have flights to UTP I have never found UTP to be any more convenient than BKK/Suvanabhumi for travel to/from Pattaya
  6. Don't forget Silom Soi 2/DJ Station may also be open till 2am and GOD until 4am for picking up freelancers or even freebies.
  7. Just to wrap this thread up, Boyfriend closed around the middle of March - they said closed for renovations, but I believe that this was just a face saving excuse The boys seem to have been redistributed to the various other bars and some are working BB Gun (Near TukCom), others have moved to FC club or Alpha Ent in North Pattaya
  8. This thread has plenty of information on Boy Karaoke aka host bars: Note that Sis2Sis always had a reputation of being one of the most expensive host bars in BKK, I have seen clips on TT of a boy being gifted an iPhone by his female admirer! I have also seen bids of 16+ drinks being made for a single hour of host drinking company (16x250b = 4000b an hour!)
  9. Are you sure this is M2M and not M bar? (almost same but different!)
  10. I know a few guys that use these to do a complete cleanse, available in most pharmacies and some 7-11s for a few baht. Have used them myself after some Imodium related constipation and can vouch for how effective they are at completely emptying your guts!
  11. I missed this thread first time around Revengeboo. So sorry yo see that it turned into such a bitch fest towards the end. Funny thing is most of the posters that are fighting are usually quite reasonable and aligned in their thinking, so hopefully your next TR wont be so mysteriously triggering!
  12. Their A380s were still parked up on a disused taxiway when i last saw them a week ago
  13. M bar has a short time room, and there are also short time rooms in the alleyway behind Jewel bar, i believe that quite a few others also have them but as Vinapu says above, the boys will know best!
  14. Unfortunately in this case it is the bar over inflating the price so they can fool unsuspecting or newbie Middle Eastern, Chinese and Indian customers into paying higher than the prevailing rate. When a friend of mine called out management on it they said you are free to negotiate your own price with the boy, their argument is that these high sticker rates were to counter those that pay no tip (assuming that the off fee was 'all-in') or try take the boy back to room where 2-3 others are waiting for their turn.
  15. From memory the menu in Toyboys in Pattaya shows minimum tips for short time and long time to be 2500 and 3000 respectively. This is considerably higher than the prevailing rates in Pattaya, and i have seen it causing consternation when an unsuspecting farang sees the menu. So is not always the best thing to have written down!
  16. are there 2 sets of Viet brothers in Good Boys? The ones that i know of are called Boy, Win, and Bin
  17. Is the American owner the Farang guy (DJ Max?) that sits at the bar playing the music, or is he a different guy?
  18. My understanding is that the 69 Show, 89 Show and Imagine79 shows are quite risque and show more than the average cabaret show. They show to Chinese tour groups, Thai customers are not permitted to enter, and all phones are forbidden and must be secured in lockers before entry. The only tickets for sale on Klook seems to be 50 USD: https://www.klook.com/en-US/activity/82014-pattaya-69-show-rave-pub-join-day-trip-pattaya/ Please don't blame me if you see no cock and have your eyes blinded by seeing womens bits!
  19. Sounds like this could be a good topic for a thread in itself. I remember you had a few posts recently on wills, insurance etc., so would be curious as to where your mind is now on a relocation. You mentioned selling your house in London, would you not downsize to a flat/apartment so you always have somewhere to return to in case things don't work out as planned, and have a base during visited to home?
  20. Unless you are staying 5*, I would imagine that its cheaper to book in to your downtown Silom hotel the night before you arrive and inform them of your late arrival, than it is to rent a short term room at the airport hotel There is also the option of a capsule hotel (aka coffin hotel!) near the train station in the basement of Suvanabhumi: https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Hotel_Review-g644049-d15189940-Reviews-Avagard_Capsule_Hotel_Suvarnabhumi_Airport-Bang_Phli_Samut_Prakan_Province.html
  21. My understanding was that Candy was a splinter from M2M, and that any transfers were on one way tickets only?
  22. In most bars the bar gets 150 and the boy 100 from the 250b boy drink. If you have a bottle of whiskey open already, then there is no actual boy drink and they just drink from your whiskey and its is 150b pure profit for the bar. If the boy is popular, then you may have to buy more than 1 drink for them to join your table for the hour. Often a bidding war erupts and boys can go for up to 20 drinks (5000b) if a wealthy customer decides they wont be usurped by a rival bidder!
  23. boy drink in karaoke is usually 250 per drink per hour so safe to say your BF ordered 3 boys and bid 2 drinks per boy per hour over your 3 hour visit = 4500 Whiskey accounts for the rest, although sounds like you were on the JWR and not 285 assume that if you didn't go home till 7.30 am, the boy was finished work and there was no need to pay an off fee
  24. Just spotted Squirrel house when looking on booking.com for a pre-songkran room for my April trip. On my dates: Squirrel is €107 for a standard room Raya is €127 56 Surawong is €97 So seems pretty poor value against 56 and Raya Not stayed in 56 yet, but think i might give it a try. Raya has been our go to Silom hotel since ~2017, but the last room we had (711 last month) was awful with a smell of must/damp, evidence of water egress in multiple places and peeling paint everywhere. Also a pretty dangerous layout with awkward steps close to the key card slot for power. It was a very disappointing stay. Anyone have any feedback on 56 Surawong??
  25. i would have thought Balcony and Telephone/Circus on Soi 4 is the closest thing to what the OPs friend is looking for? The "boy customers" tend to be quite old, but there are definitely some there that are looking to freelance if the opportunity arises
