Thank you. These observations more or less mirror mine from the Grand Opening night. It was my first time in Moonlight but I have been following this thread since last year so I believe I'm fairly updated even without being a regular. I will just add some comments to above and add my own observations. Indeed, the Mr Babe is a great dancer and a good performer. Such a joy to watch him dancing/performing om stage. He had some issues with the towel during the towel show (2 other models were also in the show but I forgot who) but I believe he managed to keep everything covered - but a great and enticing towel performance. In my view he is only superseded by Mr Sunny in dancing. Sunny did a fantastic solo show to Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" - clearly he is the best dancer of the models. My farang friend found Sunny to be the overall most attractive guy on stage - I don't share that view but Sunny is certainly a very skilled dancer and top performer on stage. To me, Mr Nakki was the star of the night. A very tall guy with an amazing body. There was something about his smile, attitude and confidence on stage that caught me. I don't know how to express it but on stage he appeared "to own everything"; appearing with such grace/confidence and very well aware of his body and looks; the true star of the night. But I share the view that his stage performance was nothing to report about. Together with Mr Rome, he appeared as an Egyptian God (sorry, but I might have got that wrong, but indeed they wore big togs) - a loud cheer of admiration came from the audience when Nakki appeared on stage during this part of the show - and they wore briefs during the subsequent owners' speech and toast (I failed to understand who the 3 persons invited to get on stage were; obviously, they were speaking in thai). Mr Rome on the other hand was far from being spectacular. Tall and handsome face (at least to some I believe) but body wise he was nothing to report about. Another guy who in my view was not on par when performing on stage was Nicky. Sorry to tell you, but with hardly any face expression on stage and red eyes that revealed that either he was high or had a hangover, he should have stayed home! - he only appeared 1 time as a "bunny guy" in the early part of the show as I recall it, but clearly he didn't feel comfortable performing on stage. I don't understand all the rave about him in this forum; sorry. Also the guy in the shower show wouldn't have worked for me - his body is far too big in my opinion (but admittedly had what appeared to be a nice hard rock in the almost transparent wet briefs) - sorry, but I don't know his name but I believe he is one of the guys that joined Moonlight recently. The shows were indeed very well choreographed and must have involved a lot of rehearsals for the guys. The Moonlight models did very well; I didn't notice any major mistakes. By far the best show of this kind I have ever seen; I'm sorry, but the Jupiter 2018 show fades when making the comparison. I share the somewhat negative comments about the long waiting time before the show actually started. The non-model guys appeared on stage fully dressed (white T-shirt and shorts with their tag numbers on) in what was certainly not a well rehearsed audition (some of the guys were clearly bored) and didn't know how to move on stage - only the enthusiastic number 29 (he also appeared in the later "big cock" show) was entertaining to watch. It was followed by a rather dull performance (singing) by the overweight thai girl who had clearly also been assigned the task to translate into English what was said/explained in Thai on stage (but struggled to do so). However, the major annoyance for me was the way too loud music/sound effects during the show - I regret I didn't wear earplugs. It was far too loud and the following day it was still "ringing" in my ears - the venue should do something about this! And finally, to the speculative comments above about who offed Mr Babe after the show, I'm able to reveal that a farang apparently took him to a dance venue. My farang friend believe he heard that Dj Station was mentioned during the negotiations between the farang customer and the older captain (the one with a face that could easily have earned him a cast in a US gangster movie). We were waiting outside after the show had finished closely to midnight due to heavy rain and from a distance noticed the talks between the farang and the captain clearly speaking on behalf of Mr Babe standing next to him, but unable to hear anything in details. But it appeared to me that the farang wanted more than just taking Mr Babe dancing/drinking and the captain mentioned the name of Nicky a few times, which I interpreted as Mr Babe not being available for fun in the room of the customer but Nicky being the choice if the customer wanted this. But at the end, Babe took off with the farang. Final comment and totally off topic, but Mr Babe is a really short guy...when appearing in full clothes I'm not sure I still have the desire to off him.

OK. That makes more sense.

@ 8k for a night, no wonder the boy offerred a repeat of 2-3 days - that would make almost 2x monthly salary for average Thai blue collar worker.
-
Anything beyond refund of the off fee will most likely just get you a stare (aka I don't know what you are talking about) and if understood then "I'm sorry, Sir but we can't do that. Sorry". The concept of compensation for wasted time and inconvenience/annoyance does not exist in Thailand (or in fact most countries beyond the US).
-
Whilst certainly possible that Mr Babe is on vacation on his own or with his GF, it is much more likely that he is traveling with a sponsor/customer. I don't want to sound rude, but Silom guys taking the initiative to and organising on their own a trip like to Japan with the activities/sights seen in Mr Babe's IG pics, is hardly likely.

Well, I wouldn't get my expectations too high from a stroll in Lumpini Park. There is a small outdoor gym but sort of fenced off (you pay a small fee to use the gym) and it will be difficult to get in touch with the guys. Whilst some guys may be gay and looking for more than just the exercise, my impression is that the majority of guys there are straight and are there to work out; not to hook up with a farang. But Lumpini Park is a very nice place and a lot of things to be seen there, so I recommend that you try it out - but a man-to-man session with a muscle guy is unlikely there. You will be able to sit on bench outside the gym and admire the guys from a distance. The outdoor gym may be a bit difficult to find as the park is huge (I always have to walk a bit back and forth to find it). Admittedly, I have never entered the gym area to get closer to guys there - I would feel somewhat intimidated to work out there among the thai muscle guys there, let alone to enter with the only purpose to glance at the guys working out. I'm not sure how well a "spectator only" will be welcome inside the gym area but give it a try and report back.

You mean the thai guys performing on stage and interacting/drinking with guests between shows? I know a thai guy who has been a "model" at Zag Club for some time (currently he is not). He will label himself "model" rather than coyote dancer or even worse go-go boy (they are not go-go boys). They get paid to appear on stage and perform shows - first show will be fully dressed (often jeans and boots) or shirtless - second show will be in speedos or other sexy outfit. During the shows they will accept tips or quick drink shots from the audience and between shows they will mingle with guests on the floor, join their tables to drink and chat with guests (you are of course required to buy drinks for them or to "open bottle" with them). Some will be gay - some are obviously straight guys. Most have fit/lean/gym bodies of course. So you could label the guys "hot and friendly hosts or entertainers" encouraging you to spent money in the bar/club. It is the same concept that you find in other Thai gay clubs like Fake or RCA in BKK I'm not sure the models can be "offed" but I guess if they like you and you make a generous offer exceptions can be made - after all this is Thailand...
-
? Surely you paid for his "services" in the room - or do you mean that he threw in a HJ or even more for free/without any additional payment to his massage fee?
-
I agree with the previous poster. Highly unlikely you will be asked to show a return ticket by thai immigration or airline staff (at check-in). No need to do any of your 1-4 strategies above.
-
Rumours will that Mr Babe is in Macau/Hong Kong now. Source: Instagram. Hopefully he will return to BKK/Moonlight soon so the Moonlight videos in Facebook will be worth watching again.
-
Haha, expecting that Mr Tam will still be a Moonligt model in 2020 is very optimistic. Certainly not impossible but not likely IMO, sorry.

Yes, you will be subject to the local taxi/tuk-tuk mafia - expect at least 600 THB from Karon to Patong o/w. There are a few nice and friendly bars in Paradise complex. Time, Connect bar, Sundowners come to mind (these are not go-go bars). I'm quite sure you will feel welcome there - some of the bar hosts are very friendly and creates a friendly/good vibe. Friday and Saturdays are best to visit Paradise complex as otherwise it can be a little dull as the numbers of guests are low, in particular in low season. I wouldn't say that there is a younger crowd - perhaps at Zag Club (seems to attract younger Chinese customers) and to some extent Boat Bar, but the bars I mentioned certainly also cater for the more mature crowd. No need to worry about that. All venues are conveniently located in the same soi so easy to spot where the action is and visit several venues as many guests seem to do).

No.8 (Watt from Surat) is the cutest guy there, but unlikely to have the most beautiful body you have ever seen. Don't get me wrong - his body is very nice but not outstanding (his face on the other hand...OMG) so it is likely to be one of the other guys there. And surely the models (muscle guys) parading on stage, including the famous Mr Babe, will charge you much more than 2000 B for fun. So also to me it remains a mystery who you actually offed?

Just to follow up on my inquiry above regarding the Airbnb condos in the Klass building in Silom soi 3. I had a great 8night/9day stay in a 1 bdr apartment there (late check-out was generously granted; perfect!). Although not big (32sqm) the condo served its purpose. The bedroom was quite small but the bathroom was well sized with a shower (rather than a bathtub). The bed mattress was the way I like it; not too soft. Bedlinen and towels were obviously provided (but not changed during my stay; I suppose I could have washed them in the washing machine but I was too lazy to do it). Aircondition was quiet and fully functional. Fully equipped with fridge, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, cups, glasses, plates and kitchen utensils, etc it was very easy to stay there. Great view of the Sathon skyline from the small balcony outside the room (I was on the top floor). Very quiet at all times; I had no noise issues at all. Perfect. You have to use the keycard to activate the lift so any quests will have to be picked-up at the lobby (I found the lobby area very nice with chairs, couches etc) and similarly you need to follow them to lift in order for them to take the lift to 1st floor (ground floor lobby). There is a guard 24/7, however, not in lobby but at a small booth opposite the main entrance to the building. There was no issue taking guests to the room. In fact, my impression was that many of the condos are short term leased to tourists of whom many a gay travelers - I saw several couples (farang or asian tourists together with what seemed to be a local guy) entering or leaving the building. The location is great - 5 min walking from Silom soi 4, soi 2, and Sala Daeng BTS station. On weekdays there is great and small inexpensive lunch market right across the street. There is a convenience store (7/11) very close to the property. Pricing was fair for short term rental (but on the high side compared to the rates for monthly rentals in the area) but considering the cheap hotel options in the area you shouldn't do a Airbnb booking to save on the accommodation costs. The excessive Airbnb booking fee is annoying and so is the inflexibility of changing or cancelling your reservation (without costs). Next time I will consider the Baan Silom soi 3 property across the street which has cheaper options and the rooms seems a bit larger; these condos seem also widely available on Airbnb. Lastly, no smell issues at all when entering the building; luckily this seems to have been an issue of the past.

No. 8 is indeed very cute/handsome. Not the most lean body or muscle guy type on stage but the face and smile outshines the other guys at Moonlight (he seems to be one of the most popular guys there). He is from the south (Surat/Krabi area) but I forgot his name.
-
Obviously, the boys get a cut when a customer orders a drink for them - otherwise there would be no incentive on the boys to ask for drink /encourage the customers to order drinks.

Sorry for resurrecting the old thread, but I hope for some advice from you guys on Airbnb listings in Silom/Sathon. First a bit of back-ground: I have been to BKK many times and stayed at various hotels in Sukhumvit, on Th. Wittayu and in Sathon - but never in Silom area. This time I think about renting a condo for my stay next month (10d/9nights). I know that hotels are cheap and the savings by staying in a condo is not significant, but I have decided to give it a try. I like the idea of having a 1 bdr condo and also closer to Silom soi 4 and soi 2 where I usually hang out at night. I have yet to experience any problems taking local guys to the room at hotels in BKK, but nevertheless I like the ease of taking a guy to your condo rather than passing a hotel front desk with a local guy. Anyway, here is my Q: There seems to be a rather new property in Silom soi 3 with many listings on Airbnb - I will not mention any names here (not sure if appropriate or not) but any readers in here familiar with Airbnb listings in Silom soi 3 most likely will know which property/building I'm talking about. It has a great out-door swimming pool, gym and seems to be 3-5 years old, rates in region of USD 45-60/night - one of persons with some listings at this property mention that you have to pick-up the key card at the hotel next door. Any experience on this property? It is mentioned in several reviews that there is a bad sewage smell at the entrance and lift area - anyone stayed there recently to confirm this? An issue? Any issues (with security guy at lobby) taking local guys to your room ? It should be fairly easy to ask friends to come to this property and pick them up at the entrance area. Anyway, in addition to asking about your experience with this particular property, the reason for my post was also hear if there are better alternatives in this area - not only Silom soi 3 but Silom and Sathon in general. I like Suan Plu very much and I see some listings which appears to be hotel rooms (e.g. at PanXXp Suites) and some expensive listings around Sathon soi 1, but I'm not going to spend well in excess of USD 100/n for a condo in Bangkok (knowing how cheap hotels rates are in general). Any advice? A PM would be most welcome as well. Thanks

Apps in BKK: Asking price for a Thai MB will be 2000 B and up. Western escort guys will ask much more. You should be able to negotiate down to 1,500 B - even 1,000 B if the MB is Cambodian, Vietnamese etc, needs cash or are short of customers (low season). Offer anything lower than 1,000 B and you will be considered a cheap Charlie. For the avoidance of doubt: I'm talking about ST (not LT); MB will fuck you in your room until you cum and quickly leave with a few bank notes in his hands/pocket. Easy!

I have visited the BKK branches several times in recent years (Asoke and Sathorn). Every time I have been assigned a male masseur upon request. The oil massage is very good; masseurs are skilled and experienced. Masseur is fully dressed at all times. If you want HE you need to look elsewhere. At certain times during the day (late afternoon/early evenings) reservations are highly recommended (otherwise you will have to wait until it is your turn to get masseur/masseuse assigned.

I know that DTAC has this option so presumably also available for TrueMove customers Added: A quick G search revealed this for TrueMove customers: TrueMove H – “Quick Add” Extend your validity for up to 365 days at a cost of 2 Baht per month Press : * 934 * 30 # for 30 days extension. Did you check if your wallet or pocket money were missing?

When I was in BKK last month, I got msg in Grindr from a very fit/lean black guy. His profile pic was very hot and after a few msg back and forth he turned out to be escort and would join me for 4,000 B. Tempted by black cock but I had to decline the offer. It could be the same guy but surely there are more than 1 black guy in Silom/Sathorn area.

I'm in HCMC now. The apps (Grindr, Blued, Jack'd - I dont use Hornet) are very busy. Several guys will solicit massage + fun to you; come to your room for 500k VND and up. But if a guy is prepared to lower the rate to 500k VND you have to be a bit careful - or dont mind if he is short, a bit chubby, small cock or with a face that certainly not look like the (blured) pic he sent to you earlier! Premium guys (stunning/lean gym guys, tall and with big cock) charge 1,000k-1,500k VND/hour - asking price is higher but rates are certainly negotiable. Don't expect much for the massage part - that is not why they come to your room. It you msg a profile in Grindr with stunning lean or muscle body/torso and no face, and if you get a reply, it will most likely be a MB and soon the issue of money will turn up when you chat with him. Some will even clearly state in the profile that they offer massage; then you just ask for some pics and negotiate the price - works very easy. Craigslist is also easy way to find MB here. Finding non-commercial gay lads for (free) sex is not that difficult when using the apps (I'm tall <45y with a decent body (but by no means slim anymore) and I get a lot of messages in the apps which lead to/could have lead to encounters if I had the time/interest, but again the guys can be short, <30y or on the chubby side or with a less attractive face; so you need to be selective. Most speaks limited English. I find it easier to hook up with guys here than in BKK. 1 USD= 22,700 VND as I write this.

There are some areas in Cape Town where I would try to avoid walking the streets at night/after dark. Daytime there is no issue. In the CBD/City Bowl there are a lot of homeless people/beggars on the street that will ask you for money or to buy them food. I didn't feel unsafe but the number of strangers approaching you is too much. Uber is very popular and rates are cheap. But in general Cape Town is a lovely city and certainly recommended. English is spoken everywhere. No issue at all. I'm not into your kind of guys, sorry, so I don't have any first hand experience and I wasn't looking for twinks. I didn't notice any on the apps.

To answer my own questions: I was told that Sea Point promenade is the place for cruising. Didn't see any obvious cruising though. I was told to look for guys walking their dogs along the promenade Apps are busy (Grindr in particular). Some/ a lot of the black guys are MB. Look for profile pic of torso only and often "discreet" will be used in profile text. A quick Q "Do you charge?" will make it clear. Asking rate: 450 to 1500 rand but after negotiation 400 to 600 rand seem to be the level (USD 25-40). Some will be able to host. Massage is often solicited in the apps. Asking rate is about 800 rand/hour - I didn't venture into any negotiations but no doubt rates are negotiable too. Enjoy!
