A few observations from the farewell /last show of Mr Babe last night @ Moonlight Looking as cute as before and with his humble attitude Mr Babe looked almost embarrassed from the all the attention and cheers he got from the audience when he appeared on stage at the model presentation (maybe it was the 4-5 garlands of 100B notes that he received; never seen a moonlight model receive that many). Mr Babe gave a short speech (in Thai followed by a shorter version in English) thanking everyone (Moonlight, guests) for the support in his 1-2 years at Moonlight. Mr Babe will surely be missed; the true star on stage @ Moonlight. I have said it before in this thread, but he is second to none when performing/dancing. The energy and the way he moves on stage - simply outstanding! As always his performance /dance in “She Bangs” (by Ricky Martin if you have forgotten) last night was nothing but spectacular. As a finale Mr Babe also did the shower show (although no erection was apparent in the boxer shorts he wore; - it is Ok, Mr Babe! didn’t come to Moonlight see that). At the end of the first show Mr Babe left with what appeared to be a group of Thai (cannot rule out they were Chinese). An era at Moonlight has come to an end, but hopefully he will be back one day. Although it was a special occasion (but it was announced fairly late by Moonlight I think - only on 28 February I believe) it was far from full house at Moonlight yesterday (but still quite busy; more people than on my previous visit on 20 February) - it is clear that the virus also impacts the business of Moonlight. Entrance fee is still 480 B though. Off-topic observations: Mr Nut (also performing last night at Moonlight) is indeed very handsome/hot; it was my first time to see him last night. Amazing looks. For those who fancy Nicky, he was also on stage last night and did well. He and Mr Nut received 2 garlands of 100 B notes each in the second show at midnight. I found No 39 (a 24y Cambodian guy) to be very hot (dark skin and very lean body but smaller framed/not muscular in the same way as the models; man/top only). Smiling a lot and with confident attitude on stage are big selling points for me; he was in the big cxxk show). I was seriously considering to off him; he quoted 2000 B when asked; left him with a 100 B note in his pocket). I also had a chat with No 41, a guy from Chiang Mai; tall, lean and very muscular with a body that matches the models) - friendly guy and easy to chat with (he said to have been @ Moonlight only 10 days).

You didn't check out Boat Bar at the end of the Paradise complex? (to the far right when facing the big hotel at end of the street). It usually gets going quite late (and will stay open 1-2 hours longer than the other bars/clubs in the soi).

If you don't mind the fees, use Western Union. Easy, swift and all thai guys seem to very familiar with Western Union. Staying in Nana/Sukhumvit and going back and forth to Silom/Sathon is no issue - I have done that numerous times when staying at high-end hotels in Ploen Chit, Asoke or even Prom Phong. BTS to Silom (or bus to Sathon - you need to change bus at Centralworld) and a short taxi ride back to Sukhumvit at night. Should be no more than 100 B (by meter) if you go to Rama IV and get a taxi from there (it is actually surprisingly quick to get to Sukhumvit via Rama IV at night). No need to regret or cancel a (non-refundable) hotel reservation in Nana. I'm quite sure that most/all hotels in Nana have a flexible quest policy - you will understand why when you get there and take a walk in the area.

June / July will mostly be good weather - not sunny all the time and occasional rain but it will not ruin anything - I consider it a good period to visit TH; low season, less tourists, less hot and clouds will provide some protection against burning sun. April will be soaring hot but air fares and hotels are cheap after Songkran.

As I recall the results from the study you refer to, the 3 persons all stopped taking PrEP during the test period. None of the persons taking PrEP as prescribed got infected by HIV. The conclusion from the various tests/studies is that PrEP is very effective protection against HIV regardless of which of the 4 dosing methods used - but only if you remember to take the pill. It will not protect against other STI
