  1. PSP is the airport code for Palm Springs.
  2. When you have ICE closing in on the Courthouse, you sometimes decide to help the ones they plan to torture and deport to some country that they have never been to. I think the Judge acted for the greater good.
  3. Many times we see in these forums that our fellow posters are making repeated trips to Thailand. Some posters live on this site when they are not there! I first went to Thailand in 1987 as part of larger travels. I think I stayed 4 nights. Baht was 22 to the dollar and I paid about 300 baht per guy. I wished I could stay longer, but I started coming back twice a year as I was just in love with Thailand. I very much liked the Coffee Boy cabins/bar in Chiang Mai. I stayed there many times. A private cabin was $28 a night, and the cutest boys worked the bar, including my all-time favorite guy. It was not right in town but tuk-tuks were always available. Coffee Boy was run by a man called Lulu. I liked him but I understand that not everyone did. Eventually, the place closed. Long after that I got a tuk-tuk ride through the ruins. How sad. Anyway, I like to go to Thailand in January when it is coolest. (My first visit was in July.) I know that I have been the last two Januarys and guess that I have made about 17 visits to Thailand. I just booked another one for next winter as the business class airfare is so much lower than before. So, I guess I will be right here with you, trying to keep track of what's happening in the Land of Smiles...and looking at @PeterRS' pictures to remind me of what these guys look like! Someday I might post a clothed photo of my all-time favorites...all clothed as I didn't take nude pix. I didn't get permission to post them either, but they have to be in their fifties now. Sad to say that I once ran into my Chiang Mai favorite in Bangkok years later. He called out to me, we went to the Suriwong to catch up. But all of the magic of the relationship was gone. He just went through the motions. I thought he was high, which I had never seen with him. Sigh. I'm not so interested in the bars anymore, but I love being in Thailand. And thanks to @TotallyOz for keeping this site going.
  4. I like Pete Davidson a lot. I am glad he is de-tattooing.
  5. Can I get fucked in Hanoi By Olddaddy, October 22, 2024 in Gay Vietnam Lucky: Why not, the Americans did.
  6. The New Yorker has a long article on Brazilian politics, featuring the most powerful judge Alexandre de Moraes. I found it to be a very interesting read. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2025/04/14/the-brazilian-judge-taking-on-the-digital-far-right
  7. I met @floridarob years ago at the old Lagoa. I was at a table with Tomcal and we briefly exchanged conversation, not enough that he remembered me last fall when we met in Rio. The first time I met him I thought that he was one of the most interesting people I had ever met. Last fall, we spent some time together at Rio saunas and then in Sao Paolo. I very much enjoyed his company. When there was a guy so cute that I was intimidated to approach him, floridarob just turned to the guy and told him I was interested. The guy was all over me right away. Now my guess is that floridarob will read this and say "Lucky?" "I don't remember meeting him!!😃
  8. I remember the dilemma I had briefly in a Rio sauna once. The garoto was giving me some of the best sex I had ever had and he rimmed me and then looked up at me, and I knew he was going to come in for a kiss. Should I resist? Well, if my butt was good enough for him I figured itt was good enough for me. We kissed passionately.
  9. Depends on what kind of line you want!
  10. Free sex with @Olddaddy? I'll bet there's a line!
  11. "He must be 50 years old now..." My first trip to Thailand was in 1987. Assuming the guys I went with were around 20 years old, they'd be nearing 60 today. Wow.
  12. I have been to MBK multiple times and never witnessed any violence. But I am shocked that @reader missed this story! 😗
  13. Doesn't the river look great at night with all of the boats lit up?
  14. We flew Cathay Pacific on our last trip to Bangkok and found the business class seats were the most comfortable we had yet experienced. I don't know if they were Aria seats though. Probably not as there were no suites.

    Agadir visit

...no male masseuse in sight. Why does that not surprise me? Males who give massages are masseurs, females are masseuses.
  16. Arriving in Bangkok with no useful money could be a horror show. You are right to be concerned about the older dollars. I have had them refused more than once. Can you go back to your local currency exchange and get newer bills?
  17. No doubt there is still a lot to like in Hong Kong, it's just harder to find. The spirit the city was known for has certainly gone downhill. As for Chinese New Year, it's my understanding that most places close on New Year's Day and for as often as two weeks, but prior to that they are open. Either way, this year lacked a sense of festivity.
  18. I once had a Thai tutor so I know various phrases, many of which I still remember. I have found that Thais appreciate the effort to learn some of their language. Hong nam yoo teenai.....others may spell the words differently but it is the sound of them that asks the question. Otherwise, mai kao jai.
  19. I used to love staying at the Coffee Boy.
  20. I never even looked at it.
  21. Since you ask, they were Le Meridien, the Athenee, Sheraton Royal Orchid, and the W. Le Meridien is quite popular with gays, has comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and a location central to gay activity. The Athenee is luxurious, with staff males wearing nicely styled tux and tails, has comfortable rooms with a great breakfast. The location is near the BTS to the shopping malls. The Sheraton gave me a high floor room with a view of the river. At night all of the boats were lit up and it was quite beautiful. From the Lounge, we had a 460 degree view and it was even better. The W disappointed although I liked it last year. It's right next to a BTS station, but that wasn't enough to keep me there. We left for the Le Meridien again.
  22. I don't want to climb any more stairs.
  23. I can understand coming back soon! I have been home for 18 days and even through some horrible jetlag I miss the place. I stayed at 4 different hotels in Bangkok and loved three of them. But the prices were pretty high compared to the old days.
  24. I have high ellte status with Marriott, but I chose the Miramar by Windsor for my last stay as I had not heard good things about the JW Marriott. The Miramar is a lovely hotel and abut $100 a night cheaper than JW.
