Steven, I wish you all the best in your activism. Not everyone is an activist, and some of us are retired. Do you really expect guys in their 80's to become gay activists? Why not just let them be retired? The torch has been passed to a new generation. Focus on those guys. I've always understood that an escort relationship necessarily involves trust. Clients expect that their privacy will be kept by the escort. Posting personal information on the internet about a client is, I think, a violation of that trust. A client's health or bedroom activities is for him to talk about, not the escort.

Steven, did not Oliver, and especially, Epigonos, spend tons of money on you? You knew their politics yet still let them hire you. For years! Your lack of loyalty to your friends is stunning. Once your escorting days were numbered and those bucks weren't so sure anymore, you turn on them. I am also of the opinion that if that website ends, the Pool Party would also likely end. So what? No one else has stepped up to make the effort that Epigonos and Oliver made. They made this event a big success and created good times that many participated in., Oliver never asked for a penny to compensate him for the costs of the weekend.

The Democrats need to focus on defeating Trump. We don't need long, drawn-out impeachment investigations. The people will decide on Trump in the election.

Bernie is probably a fan of daft punk as well.

kjun, thanks for the inquiry. The answer, of course, is nothing! Saying "all is forgiven" when trying to entice someone is fairly common*, almost cliche. I used it carelessly I guess. But, the thread has received little response. That surprised me. * https://forum.wordreference.com/threads/come-back-attila-all-is-forgiven.3393735/

Biden is done. He confabulated a story about pinning a medal on a war hero, but he got most of the story wrong, despite giving his word, "as a Biden" that it was true. And he still cannot understand what his error is! I think he cannot survive this. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/as-he-campaigns-for-president-joe-biden-tells-a-moving-but-false-war-story/2019/08/29/b5159676-c9aa-11e9-a1fe-ca46e8d573c0_story.html https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/29/us/politics/joe-biden-gaffes-military-history.html?action=click&module=Top Stories&pgtype=Homepage

Yes, it is true. Fox must finally have shown some backbone to piss Trump off. https://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ny-trump-supporters-fox-working-for-us-20190828-saod5q5vhvdvrhxaqfyuv7cf44-story.html Anyone want to join the boycott?

The Washington Post today summarizes some of Trump's most glaring misstatements: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/how-beastly-is-trump-the-post-gut-checker-investigates/2019/08/23/72b70ab2-c5b3-11e9-b5e4-54aa56d5b7ce_story.html He seems to be losing it.

DOJ argues Civil Rights Act does not protect LGBTQ workers The NY Post reports: The Justice Department on Friday urged the Supreme Court to rule that gay and transgender people are not protected against discrimination under the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The federal law prohibits discrimination only on the basis of a person’s “biological” sex, the administration argues in a brief to the high court. “The ordinary meaning of ‘sex’ is biologically male or female; it does not include sexual orientation,” reads the brief, submitted by U.S. Solicitor General Noel Francisco. The justices said in April that they will hear three cases involving people who claim they were fired because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

A Pennsylvania priest has been caught embezzling church funds to, among other things, pay for services of men he met on Grindr. The NY post reports: The Rev. Joseph McLoone, 56, was arrested on felony theft and related charges Wednesday after investigators revealed that he opened a secret checking account in 2011 to deposit donations from parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Downingtown, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced. McLoone, of Downingtown, then funneled the donation checks into an unauthorized “St. Joseph Activity Account” at TD Bank for the next six years and stole $98,405 in all, according to Chester County district attorney chief of staff Charles Gaza. “Father McLoone held a position of leadership and his parishioners trusted him to properly handle their generous donations to the church,” Gaza said in a statement. “Father McLoone violated the trust of the members of St. Joseph’s for his own personal gain.” McLoone allegedly withdrew roughly $46,000 in cash from the undisclosed account in Ocean City, New Jersey, where he owns a beach house. He also admitted to using some of the funds to pay for his “personal relationships” with other men, including $1,200 McLoone deposited into the commissary account of an inmate in a New York correctional facility, according to a criminal complaint. The inmate, identified in court documents as Brian Miller, was never a Pennsylvania resident and had no previous connection to McLoone’s church. McLoone told investigators that Miller lived in New York City and that he met the inmate via Grindr for a sexual relationship, the complaint shows. McLoone separately made 17 payments totaling $1,720 to men he met on Grindr via the Square online payment app and doubled the fee he collected as a stipend for each Mass, wedding and funeral held at St. Joseph’s Parish, prosecutors claim. He’s also accused of using $3,000 of the stolen funds to pay off personal credit cards. Father Grindr:

Your chances of getting mugged in Rio are much less than your chances of getting attacked in this forum.

MsGuy was one of our regular posters. He had a great sense of humor. I'd love to state those facts in the present tense, but he hasn't signed on in almost three months! MsGuy, come back! All is forgiven! Anyone hear from him lately?

This topic comes up repeatedly. Maybe it serves as a good reminder to be observant and careful in Rio. The only way to be sure that you will not get robbed in Rio is to stay home. iphguy is an astute resident there, and if he can get robbed three times in one month, it serves to remind us to observe the precautions mentioned here repeatedly, and then still be prepared for danger. It's a risk of visiting Rio.

I hope that this one works! https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-city-health-bulletin-safe-diarrhea-ass-play-20190808-qoyvf66jefea7nyepsfun5rdqi-story.html (I tested the link and it did work for me.)

Now it's not the ass play being encouraged, but the safety issue that the New York Health Department is concerned with. They have ads directed at gay men: The NY Daily News has the story. Not everyone likes the ad! https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/ny-city-health-bulletin-safe-diarrhea-ass-play-20190808-qoyvf66jefea7nyepsfun5rdqi-story.html

Hotels and restaurants in Pattaya don't compare to Bangkok. The guys seem to be younger and thinner. It's not a place to stay long, in my humble opinion!

Moscow Mitch fell and broke his shoulder this weekend. The comment section at the Washington Post is ablaze with jokes about it. And why not? He has shown no regard for the suffering of others- none!
