Yesterday while I drove on Highway 1 headed in the direction of Carmel, CA, I was playing a cd by Gail Costa, one of Brasil's well-known women singers who happens to be a lesbian. Her voice is so elegant, and those tunes brought tears to my eyes as I refletec upon my earlier travels to Brasil [Rio especially]. I wanted to have been back there enjoying the beat, the meat, the ambience, and the culture in general! Perhaps next year or the following one....

I saw "August: Osage County" yesterday and thought the acting to be superb. Ms. Streep and Ms. Roberts both did a phenomenal job! I'm now torn as to whom should receive both the Best Actress as the Best Supporting Actress this year! [2.1.14]

I have the slightest idea. For some unknown reason, I don't remember the names of the characters [people] who appear in television shows, nor do I remember the names of certain news broadcasters unless they appear nightly and I happen to view that channel on a daily basis. I do know our brothers on CNN, though!
