If you're looking for something to do this weekend and still have the option, seeing Godzilla minus 1 IN A THEATER is probably WORTH IT! If you're bored out of your mind but too lazy to leave the house... Zach Snyder's Star Wars (and Seven Samurai and 5 other better movies), Rebel Moon... is visually interesting. Basically combine the disappointments of Valerian, Jupiter Ascending, and John Carter of Mars, though better than maybe all three of those movies. But for fuck's sake stop letting Zach have any input into writing or the story!

I saw both Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon in a theater without any issue. And for both there was something to be said for the experience of seeing it in a theater exactly as intended. Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer people who can go any length of time without checking their cell phone (or apparently having to potty though that wouldn't annoy me that much--sit towards the aisle if you have issues...) so I'm not sure it's going to last especially for auteur movies like these (Oppy's success was probably a fluke).

I'd thought I heard they were getting into the Ozympic rush. Oh, that was Weight Watchers. Imagine something effective and lasting in weight loss for the first time!
