  1. It's supposed to be about how the crashed ship encountered in the first Alien movie came to be on the planet.

I reached 40 this year which is a time for many people to have a meltdown and reconsider decisions they've made in life. However, I am today the most content I've ever been both professionally and privately. My job is no longer a job but a career and I credit my manager for pushing me out of my comfort level to attain such a goal. Privately I am not looking for anyone nor needing anyone, for the near future at least I'm trying to provide a positive male role model for my sister's children and that has certainly been a very fulfilling thing as well. What I look forward to in the future is moving along with my career, watching the kids grow up and paying off my house. I also look forward to growing up because despite my age and resposibility I still feel like an awkward little kid at times. Gcursor, use the time that you have now to examine what you really want in life...if you feel that your best years are in the past maybe look more closely, sometimes we confuse being young with being happy.

For the shows. I hate having the TV on if I'm not watching something.

All my life I have had a fairly structured life with all things done at their appropriate time. I even schedule sexual encounters! My fear is dying without truly knowing what life is.
  10. Kind of like Twin Peaks, the first season was perfect.

My first time didn't hurt, but my third time did.

I saw the tv remake back in the day with Ben Cross as the vampire. Hopefully the movie will be better.
  13. Looks like a bank robber wearing a Ronald Reagan mask.
  14. Don't know about Mexico, but Coke in Chile and Argentina tastes very different than their American parent. It is much sweeter and effervescent.
  15. Although not unheard of in younger people, this type of cancer is commonly an older person's disease with the majority of patients being 55 or over. I wonder if there will ever be any cure for cancer at all.
  16. Open a small store selling Chilean delicacies.

  18. I get an error, but I think most of you can take a guess.
  19. Thanks both for the responses. I'll be checking out these two suggestions.
  20. As mentioned on another thread I will be in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area from 10.22.2011-10.26.2011. The primary purpose is to commemorate my 40th year of life. Having never been to the area I would really appreciate some insight from those with knowledge of the city. Are there any haunts I shouldn't let pass? Bus tours I should take? Places I should skip? Any and all suggestions would be most helpful including the best place to stay. I will be arriving and leaving from Burbank.
  21. Even more reprehensible than the Bachmanns' views on homsexuality is their use of taxpayer money to fund their clinic, I wish the media would investigate this apparent hypocrisy.
  22. I have an HTC Thunderbolt but I don't really know why. It's basically a handheld computer and the battery life sucks. To be quite honest these all in one cellphones are becoming a bit much...but I'll still buy one cuz it looks cool.
  23. Not exactly a weather report, but this happened here north of Seattle.
