I once read that a boy is at puberty when pubic hair starts growing, which means that I was all ready at or starting puberty when I turned 10 back in 1981. I don't think this early puberty in boys is a new phenomena.

Thanks for all of your kind words and advice. All things considered she seems to be doing ok. We've set up counseling for her and she'll begin seeing a therapist next Thursday.

I don't have any close friends to talk with about this so I thought some on here might have some insight on this situation. I just found out that my 13 yr old niece was raped while spending the night at a friend's house. My sister (her mom) and I will be taking her to a hospital for evidence collection. I'm in complete shock right now but I need to know what, if anything, can I do for her? Has anyone dealt with something like this before?

If she used her position of power over these guys then yes she should go to jail.

King Kong is the perfect movie in my opinion. Citizen Kane was boring, it seemed like it had a "Genius at Work" sign in every scene. 2001 was OK, but the movie is too cold and sterile (and yes I do know that that was what Kubrick wanted). Vertigo I didn't like at first but it kind of grows on you.
