  1. Lately I am having a hard time getting to know (by person) models from CB. Just infinite talks to realize that they will never have paid sex, or crazy prices to get their whatsapp number....clearly not worth paying 50 bucks for a number. Something appears to have changed, or maybe it's just me that I am making mistakes?
  2. So...Uber it's gone in Colombia (well, not until the end of the month). Alternatives? Has anyone ever used Cabify or Beat in Colombia?
  3. I don't care about that study...it's more than 4yrs old and it's just about Brazil. I was talking about the gay escorts from the whole world, and if you don't understand that a study which is more than 4 yrs old about this subject is completely useless, it's not my fault. In the end you're the one who was saying that i cannot talk about saunas because my experience covers just the last 4 years. Your stupid irony about the twinks thing, doesn't add anything to your standard rude comment, on the contrary it makes it just so stupid and false that clearly represents the kind of cheap-minded, egoist and rude person you are. Oh and btw, my experience includes also escorts that perfectly fit your standards...I had to kindly invite more than a couple of guys, to wear the condom. And @Badboy81...i took the data from my personal experience...which despite it's quite huge and recent it's not a study (which would be impossible to do, because what happens to me with an escort, might not happen to you) and as i have always stated, my posts are always telling my opinion, and not the absolute truth, as someone else here on this forum, who pretends to be the holder of truth. So believe me or not... I don't think there's any need to repost what I think about BB sex with escorts, which was the core concept of that post.
  4. That's so cool!!! I think the world deserves something like Pingaflix...sex and vlogs clips from the whole south of america. I am convinced that it won't take an unbearable effort, doing something much better than websites like HB, MO and LB.
  5. @TotallyOz I miss the times when this forum was a very friendly community...gone. Now it looks more like nazi-german's people's courts. This is a very complicated topic, which IMHO should be kept outside of this forum...anyway there are some facts: -Having BB sex with a sex-worker is not a great idea. It has nothing to do with the exploitation thing, since the majority of the sexual workers around the globe, do this job because it's easy money (including nowadays Brazil...after all R$150+"benefits" in 30 minutes of sex, is better than R$1000 after a month of hard work inside a supermarket, 7 hours per day, if lucky...iPhone 11 costs R$6k). It is more of a matter of science, ignorance, law and probabilities. -The vast majority of the escorts working wordwide, that are gay, will accept to have BB sex. And there's more...I often get offered BB sex from them...could be my age...but it happens. I am sure it happened to many of the users of this forum too. Just say "no, thanks not". -A good share of customers, asks for BB sex...I've seen this happen countless times. Some guys nodded, some did not. -Having sex with someone without telling him that you have any kind of untreated STD, it's a heavy criminal offence in most of the countries, especially if that person gets infected...assuming that a person is involved in this kind of behaviour is also illegal if it turns out that it's not true. Assuming that latbear4blk is a kind of "walking infector", is really not something should be read in what is supposed to be a friendly community. -If you guys are so scared about STDs, you should not be visiting saunas and you should not be having sex with escorts. Assuming for 1 second that HIV never existed or that everybody's on Prep, while having fun with a sauna escort boy if you're using a condom, you're still exposing yourself to the vast majority of the STDs, unless you're paying for an escort, who doesn't kiss, who doesn't suck, who doesn't touch you. My advice...have safe sex with escorts...and stop making assumptions and critics about what the users do.
  6. So just because i begun to go to saunas in 2016 I am not entitled to compare saunas? ...I might not have a huge knowledge of how the of saunas looked like before 2016, but factoring my nearly 300/350 entrances in GP saunas in Brazil during the last 4 years, the most unpredictable and (just after the most) complicated ones, I believe that I am enough experienced now to make comparisons. To me, and to many locals I use to hang out with, comparing nowadays saunas to 2005 saunas, is like comparing apples with pears. That's just impossible, not because I'm not used to analyze something I've never investigated by myself...but because there are too many variables on this business, right now even to compare 2019 scenario with the early 2018 one. So why would one person try to compare the present with an even more far past? It's a fact, saunas are changing, internet is becoming a stronger and stronger competitor and tastes and habits are also changing. There's nothing new here. I have never said that the definition of a slow day depends on the quantity of customers for god's sake...even if some people seem to adore to treat me like a retarded, I am not that stupid. EDIT: When i'm talking about ratios on this post, i'm always talking about the best days of the week, unless otherwise stated. It's not right to talk about ratios during slow days because the sample would be too small. Even a world without poverty and wars would be ideal, but it won't happen..a 3:1 ratio? That won't happen as well. And it never happened to any of the major brazilian saunas during the last 4 years, except for days when there were like 10 boys and 5 customers...that would still suck in terms of absolute numbers. I remember Junior talking about one of the best days of 202...there were something like 60 boys and 80 customers during peak hours, and a 90 min queue. Now even thinking that those numbers are not inflated, that's still a ratio far below 1:1. Same ratios were reported from 117s staff. So I think that there's some misunderstanding about your definition of ratio which must be investigated, and more specifically when that ratio is measured...on your arrival? At the time you leave? There are only 2 ratios worth measuring inside this kind of business...peak time, and overall. Peak time (the time with the highest number of boys) is usually higher than the overall one...and it's never been by far close to 3:1 in any sauna. Unless you're measuring the ratio inside 117 at like 4.30 PM of a tuesday when there'are already 10/15 boys and 4/5 customers, which would still be dismal, for a facility as big as 117. There's also another thing which makes a recurring 3:1 (or even a 2:1) ratio, not realistic...for the boys it just would be an enormous waste of time and energy. The risk of going home without having worked with a single customer would be not acceptable. While it might be true that before 2016 I could have not enjoyed the typical sauna boy, it is also true that if the saunas are shifting towards the disco bodies, it is because again, that's were the demand has gone and is going even more nowadays. Not because they could not retain those type of boys. They've also nearly disappeared from the internet GP websited. In a city with a population well over the 12 million mark, there's only been Lagoa (not counting Fragata for obvious reasons). If there was a so high demand for muscle gods, how is it possible that no one has ever had the guts to open a sauna focused on what was the old days Lagoa's standard? Because that would be the recipee for bankruptcy. Btw it was not the nice architecture of the old Lagoa which i didn't like (and i could not care less about it, until it's functional), it was the general attitude that people from SP (most, not all) have. Beside the boys thing...I agree with the critics, the new one's architecture is not functional at all for this purpose of business. EDIT: some minor corrections, changed a clouple of digits to make calculations easier and to fix a miscalculation.
  7. So I can see that you agree with me...in a pay sauna I expect to see the best I can get from the market. The only difference is the type of guys we like. BTW I have never experienced a 3:1 ratio in a Brazilian sauna, not even during the slowest days. The highest ratio I can remember was maybe a 1.5:1 in 117 on a Wednesday? 7 or 8 customers, 12 boys? Last time I went to 117 on a Tuesday there were something like maybe 40/50 customers during the peak hours. 120 garotos? Just won't happen (anymore at least...cannot talk about pre-2016 years). Not trying to defend Lagoa at all costs since I've stated multiple times that I don't like it (didn't like the old one, don't like the new one).
  8. Bucknaway, no fights for me...just talking. I think that Solace can have his own ideas, as I can have mine...opposite in this case. Just typing our thoughts. Just one clarification...I'm usually not a twink-like guys fan, despite I have variable tastes. Just some words about what tomcal said, before arriving to Rodolfo: saunas face bankruptcy only for 2 reasons: Forced and delaied relocation (what tomcal said (like MM)) Naive management (like Lion's) 1- Relocation is dangerous mostly because you have to face the risk of losing customers and boys because they don't like the new location, or because it's in a neighborhood with an increased risk of exposure against people you don't want to know what you're doing, and losing customers because the new place cannot accomodate the same amount of workers or customers as the previous one did. The more time you're spending without working, the more customers you're going to lose. Once you've lost your sauna's customers, it's nearly impossible to get them back inside a new location, because they've already been adsorbed by the remaining ones. This is MM's and MH's (which in the end it was meant to be MM's spinoff) case. 2 - Lion's is not bankrupt (might be pretty close), but it opened in the worst market conditions they could have chosen to face. The 2 major competitors, 117 and 202, are living their most profitable time in Rio since olympics. Getting inside the game with a huge investment, while even more manageable activities like MH have failed, is a very risky choice IMHO. This isn't Lagoa's case since the switch has been done in "realtime". So Rodolfo who's not naive, since he's been running the business for decades, knows that he cannot host the same volume of visitors inside the new location. At the same time he knows that the sauna "lives" in SP, Brazil's fashion capital and he knows that there's a predomint type of boys that most of customers currenly like. Young guys with toned to muscular bodies and nice faces, not too feminine, judging by the size of their regular customers list, and by the size of the queues they cause in the receptions, is the way to go. Keep in mind that a small share of customers has already gone, since some were going to the old Lagoa just to have drink with their friends. Speaking of 117, there's always been a list of guys who didn't meet the standards to work in there...it's totally normal. The last times i went (like 5 times in the last 30 days), i think that the average age didn't even get close to 26/27yo (which a kinda a bit lower than the old Lagoa). There was a 10/15% of nextdoor/twinky type of boys, about a 80% of guys with a swimmer/gym type of body, and the remaining % of boys with a competition like body. This ratio has changed during the times. And Monique, who's kind of a genius in this market and will never face the risk of a forced relocation since she owns the building, knows that by the time goes, the population of the saunas has to adapt to the customer's demand and to the internet's competition. So if Rodolfo is trying to import the 117's model which worked for 20 years in Rio (and I think that this is what he's going to do), to keep the highest standard among the most demanded boys to cut the potential losses caused by guys who work in there but that attract only the 30% of the customers instead of the 80% (i.e.), I don't see anything of strange. Probably this choice is also supported by statistics...do you think that the reception doesn't know how many customers "Mr. x" averages each month? Or how many garotos my VIP customers "Mr. Y" averages each day? In the end it's like running a supermarket where every product has nearly the same price...if you're downsizing from a 6000m^2 surface to a 4000 one, you'll have to pull from the display the products which you know you're selling less. You'll lose customers...some will move to a local competitor (if exists) which holds those products, some will just buy it on Amazon...Internet. Still better than losing those who buy the best selling ones, just beacuse they're over.
  9. Oh no! Don't say that...you might be charged for discrimination here on the forum . The "over 30y & bad looking" union is going to sue you. Some people are treating Rodolfo as a complete idiot...without doing a prior check of the current and past situation. The fact that he's putting some restrictions (which have always existed in saunas thanks to god, also in Junior's 202 and Monique's 117), only proves that he cares about his business and that he strongly believes that the demand is going to that way. So no he's not running his personal playground, and no he's not hosting your personal one. If I cannot accomodate the demand of everyone, I prefer to fully accomodate the one from the majority of the users, keeping the quailty as high as possible. He's not forcing you to visit the new sauna, and he's not expecting the same amount of customers since the place is considerable smaller. Despite all of the huge architectural problems the new building has (which cannot be solved, without moving again to another place), the new Lagoa is working great after only a few days from the inauguration. And btw those limits are not strict.
  10. I'll try but it will be Easter 2020 those days...i will try not to go back to Italy for holidays . Oh well I'll meet Italo much sooner, he just had to be in my same city. I'm not used to call guys from other cities from Brazil since it's just pointless...there's always too much too choose from.
  11. Not saying the contrary, what I am saying is that independently from the age limit, the kind of boy you're talking about (competitive athletic physiques), is going to disappear from saunas and also from the internet's escort sites too in Brazil. It's been happening since 2 years ago moreless. The masculine guy with a competitive athletic physique is not anymore going to be the standard of gay beauty in Brazil (thankfully for me)...especially in Sao Paulo. IMHO. I really don't get the next period, and since you're referring to me, I'd reply by saying: "The very thought that there are men, who are not accepting an opinion different from their one, is quite disturbing to me". ...you're making wrong assumptions about something I've never said. If you read carefully you'd see that I've never made the equation you're talking about and I was tallking about garotos, not about customers. Just after i said: "30 it's a bit too restrictive". FYI...I am just a bit over the 30yrs old mark...so no retirement for me yet :(. Since we're talking about garotos... yes, If you're brazilian and you've passed the 35/38yrs old mark and you're still working as a garoto inside saunas....chances are that you're beauty has faded or is fading away (to don't say "you're ugly"), comparing to the average of the working boys. There might be rare exceptions. The thing is: It's a fact that there are some working boys in Lagoa (the only sauna in the whole Brazil where I've seen so many "forniture" guys as @pauleiro would say) who are ugly, i cannot find a better word, and 100% of them is very ahead with their age compared to the average boy. And since I'm paying not only the guys but the also the entrance fee for a sauna with rentboys, I'd like to see that if there's a new facility with a smaller room for the boys, this room will be reserved to the youngest and best looking ones. Not to the ones I'd should be paid by to have sex with them. @Tomcal There's no legal problem. As they can ban a boy or a customer from entering because of his "bad behaviour" (ie.), they can forbid the entrance depending on the age too. No one is going to sue Rodolfo, there will never be any evidence and/or a single court involved in a similar case. We're still talking about brazilian saunas in the end :D.
  12. The crazy thing is that since the day i've been living in Brazil I've never been able to meet any of you in the saunas (apart from @pauleiro and Tao, who has a nickname i'll never manage to remember here on the forum @Uqtyang). When you come, I'm always or in the other side of the country, or in the other side of the world. @Latbear4blk Your posts are awesome, and I was so sure I was going to read something about Italo and Victor on this forum !!! I am following all of the guys you've met on instagram, and when I saw Italo and Victor on the top of the hotel, Yuri who was also talking about Italo and Wesley with shirt ILIKEPINGA on whatsapp i was like...WTF???? Anyway congrartulations because in around 100 hrs you've managed to meet some (and i say some because there are many more) of the best boys that Rio has to offer. Yuri, Wesley, Hugo....are all extremely hot and great people. Italo is a major crush for me....I'm always missing the chance to meet him. The last time I was able to meet him in SP before going to PA for work, i was so ill that I have not confirmed the date I had set with him the day before....thanks SP for your fucking stupid weather.
  13. Personally, I'm not against the age limit in Lagoa (even if 30 it's a bit too restrictive)... I've always complained about the presence of old, bad-looking garotos working in the old Lagoa...maybe this will make them disappear. @SolaceSoul I think that the average age of the guys you like is decreasing since the culture of healthy eating and proper training at the gyms, is getting much more common between the younger crowds in Brazil, interested in bodybuilding. It should not be a huge problem in the next future. At the same time I believe that the stereotype of gay beautiness in Brazil is shifting towards a slightly less muscular, and more toned body. Sweet for me. Lagoa won't go bankrupt and won't end up like MHR....it's the only sauna in SP (not counting Fragata for obvious reasons)....for now.
  14. They do...you have to click on the "show all" button. But sometimes they disappear if they not regularly update their prices for rooms.
  15. Considering that Lion's club is already nearly bankrupt....no
  16. Well...in case you'll ever need them: https://www.guiademoteis.com.br/rio-de-janeiro There's really nothing else to say
  17. Yeah so the intel was kinda good! We still have to understand the opening date and if there will some days where Lagoa will be closed, or if the switch will be in "real time".
  18. I got the same intel from a boy who's not anymore working steadily in lagoa, but who's close to Rodolfo. And from what i have been told...nope it's not the failing rainbow. Of course it's not something 100% verified.
  19. Maybe I'm missing something, and the fact that I'm an IT guy with no law background probably doesn't help....so sorry about the stupid question....but I am curious: @mvan1 How are you going to get the place of the new sauna from LexisNexis? Isn't it supposed to store only court cases (buying a sauna or signing for a rent, shouldn't involve court)=
  20. I agree...117 is something unique across the world...I've always told you that. It might have slow days, but overall the quality is very high as is the quantity and the accountability of the management, which has always done a great job. So it's true that Lions is already overdue with rent payments.

  22. Before publishing what I believe is the most desired information (an updated list of the average going rates), I wanna write some consideration about the "Overpay/Underpay question" which every couple of months, pops up in this forum...this wants to be an advice to the newbies, but also a reminder to all of us who are visiting Brazil and SA from years. September update Brazilian saunas avg range (min-max): 100-150 BRL (80-200) (SP and RJ...cut 20 reais while in other cities). Brazilian internet avg range (min-max): 250-350 BRL (200-400) Colombian avg (min-max): 80k-120k COP (70k - 160k) Dominican Republic avg (min-max): 2000 - 2800 DOP (1500 - 4000) (finders fees included, i'd say drop 500 DOP from the avg ranges to get a net value)
