Hi guys I like to have some standard "go to" requests, questions, likes and wishes translated into the local language before my trip. Traveling to places like Mexico or Japan, that's pretty straight forward - one choice for a language based on the country. However with Bangkok, it seems that many of the boys working in the massage spas or boy bars can be from surrounding countries. Do a lot of these boys from the surrounding countries understand Thai?? Are the languages similar enough that they can read something translated into Thai? I can translate into the Thai language but it's a bit cumbersome to translate everything into 2-3 additional languages. I'm sure I'll be relying on gestures/body language for a lot of situations but having something translated sets the tone at the beginning.

It's been awhile since I was last in BKK (but I'm going back in a few weeks), but I always start the massage by going commando under the clothes they give to wear during the massage. My initial plan was quantity over quality 😆 but I will probably rethink this and consider places like Jey Spa, Senso, etc., at least for one or two visits. 🤔 I was just checking out their website yesterday. They have some possibilities there but they seem to skew more towards muscular guys when I want twinks. I will probably try a mix of different "levels". Some of the cheaper, seedier spas in SK offer a certain appeal, but as it has been pointed out, they can be more inconsistent. Paying more for a higher quality experience definitely has it's advantages. And all things considered, a massage with full service at Jey Spa or similar is still cheaper than an escort in the States. First, thank you to all of you for sharing your experiences and knowledge. I have visited BKK many times, but it has been awhile for me due to Covid and other recent obstacles. I know that BKK has changed a bit since I was last there in 2018. This forum has been great getting me back up to speed for my upcoming visit! I just finished seasons 1 & 2 of You on Netflix. It has a bit of a Dexter vibe to it. I also liked Good Girls. Agreed. If you are a US citizen, it doesn't matter what the legal age is elsewhere - 18yo is the youngest you can play with. If there's a place where the legal age is 19/20yo etc., then go by those local laws. Otherwise, always 18 or older.

Wow! I've never paid 3000 pesos for any guy in CDMX. Had some offers around 2500 pesos but even then I declined and then they would go lower. 1000-1500 is not too bad for foreigners but I will go up to 2000 if I'm getting everything I want out of the experience, like multiple extras. On my last trip, I was shopping around between a couple of guys, both the same price IIRC or very close (1200 or so?). I set up an appt with one and declined the other. He went quite a bit lower, around 750-ish. Had it not been my last day, I would have made arrangements to meet the next day. I stuck with the first guy though and was very glad I did. It was an explosively good time, possibly in my top 10 even! I will definitely be seeing him next time I visit, which might even be this month. Anyway, my point is 2000 pesos should be on the high side, but try to negotiate to something closer to 1000-1500. And you don't even have to negotiate per se. Just decline and let them make you an offer.

I've met Gago several times before. He's hit-or-miss at best. Rarely on time. He's pulled the "I want to bring my friend" routine on me too every time except for the first time we met. Yes, it's a 25% increase, but the amount isn't a very big difference in the grand scheme of things. THB1500 is about USD$50 and THB2000 is about USD$65. In this situation, I might negotiate to 1500 but still give the "extra" 500 as a tip. The same service in the States would be THB6000 (USD$200) minimum. Just my opinion.
