  1. Curitiba Heard from someone in the forum that Sauna 520 is closed. That was the best GP-mixed sauna in Curitiba (in my opinion). That leaves maybe 2 more saunas with GPs if I am not mistaken. Club 773 (bar e sauna) sometime has a couple of hot GPs but the whole place seems pretty empty the few times I visited. Maybe I visited on a slow day or time. The other sauna (Opiniao) is a bit run down and I only visited once. Oh and Shopping Curitiba toilet is very cruisy. Floripa No sauna with GPs but plenty of fun to be had at the nude beach sand dune and bushes. Non GP Sauna Termas Oceano is worth a visit. A lot of hot young locals and tourists from Argentina (at least the one time I was there) Belo Horizonte I will be there for a week this April. As far as I know, there are only 2 saunas with GPs. Sauna Olimpo and 1097. They are like scaled down 117 and New Meio Mundo and that's me been generous. For non GPs sauna, I like to go to Sauna 24 Horas (I think the name has changed) and Tres Chic. There are quite a few more saunas in the city.
  2. Yes I have been to G Spa Rio before. Like most saunas in RJ, the operating time is similar so I would rather go to 202/117 or maybe Sauna Carioca in the weekend for their naked theme event. I am looking for a place to hang/chill after 202/117 and maybe have some fun.
  3. Found the address. It's called Sauna 29 or something at 29 R. Prof. Alfredo Gomes in Botafogo. From the google street view, it seems to be closed (with sale sign board). Too bad.
  4. I stayed at Ibis in Botafogo and Petit Rio in Catete before. Both are quite nice. The latter has excellent breakfast if that matters to you.
  5. I don't usually bring guys back so it'll be a non issue. However, I don't think it's mentioned anywhere that visitors are not allowed unless I missed it. I still have more than a couple of months to cancel the booking if a better one comes along.
  6. I just booked Hotel Atlantico Travel Copacabana for 11 nights last night for my April stay. It is near 202 as well. The booking is 100% refundable so I'll keep an eye for other better deals in the meantime. I'm tempted to stay at Cinelandia area which is near Sexy Rose 🤣
  7. A bit long shot but I am trying to find the name and address of a non-GPs sauna in RJ that opens till 5/6am (or was it 24 hours). RJ is lacking late night venues compared to say SP or BH. I have been there once or twice but I can't remember the name/location. If I remember correctly the name has a number on it (maybe). Found it last time with Google but it seems to disappear now. I hope it didn't close down. It is an old 2 floors old rundown building in some sort of residential area (I saw some street trade/guys cruising outside at wee hours in the morning). Ground floor has a big sitting area, small steam and dry sauna. Upstairs has a few rooms and one of the bigger serves as a porn theatre. Young and after office hour worker crowd. Or if anyone knows a place ... cine/sauna/cruise club that opens late or 24 hours in RJ. Anyways, I'll be in Brazil for the whole month of April 2023 (SP, BH and RJ) PS: Sorry archer for hijacking your thread.
  8. Usually no GPs in those non garoto saunas. Unless the 'mix' ones like 520 (Curitiba), Dragon (Fortaleza) and the 2 in Braisilia. They will tell you before you go further. Usually cabin/cubicle are free. Bring your own condoms and lubes. Like any gay sauna, pay the entrance, roam around the steam/sauna room, dark room etc.
  9. My info is pre pandemic; so it is 2 years old. Things might be different now.
  10. I went there on a nude day as well (pre-covid) once; in the afternoon/evening. The crowd was youngish and many with hot bods though. Maybe it depends on the months etc. In Rio, probably the best one is Rio G Spa in Ipanema. However I like those that are a bit low profile in Botafogo/Flamengo/Catete area; be warned though, they are usually a bit rundown. BH, Tres Chic is good before Olimpo. After hours, "24 hours Sauna" near Olimpo. It is very crowded weekend. Sometime there is a queue to go in. People do smoke inside. Cig and sometime weed. SP has a few good ones. Chilli Pepper is probably the best. Good late evening crowd. You need ID (passport) to go in though as it is marketed as a 'hotel'. Any city in particular that you wanna know?
  11. I stayed at Uotel Downtown Republica before. It was alright. It was Uotel before, think the new name is Nomah.
  12. It's a gay sauna which happens to have rooms available for rent.
  13. 269 Chilli Pepper Single Hotel. Can't get more gay friendly than it 😀
  14. My Portuguese is a bit rudimentary, I think you wanna say " Eu sou activo mas eu quero ser passivo pra voce"
  15. I am still using my VIVO prepaid from 5 years ago. Top up via recharge.com once every few months when I am not in BR to keep it active. Its also my Whatsapp Business App number separate from my normal Whatsapp app (Both can be installed on the same phone). VIVO coverage is decent; never had an issue with internet in many of the cities in BR. Got mine from the official VIVO shop in one of the mall
  16. Dragon is the most beautiful sauna I been in Brazil but California is the place for GPs. There are only a handful of GPs in Dragon the few nights I was there - lots of clients-clients action. I had fun in both (more in California) both with GPs and other clients. That was 2 years ago ...
  17. Decided to cancel. Airline just announced that my flight will be suspended from end of march to end of june. Oh well
  18. How is the virus situation in Brazil right now? From the posts, it seems still sorta OK but might change in a week or 2. I am comtemplating whether to cancel my coming trip (6 April - 1 May). Leaning toward cancelling and it's gonna cost me. PS: Is there 7 days isolation in effect? I only saw the article in the news but cannot find anything in official channel
  19. https://g1.globo.com/bemestar/coronavirus/noticia/2020/03/13/ministerio-da-saude-divulga-orientacoes-para-estados-sobre-coronavirus.ghtml Ministry of Health recommended that any Brazilian or foreigner arriving in Brazil should stay in isolation for at least 7 days. I wonder if it is already been enforced. Looks very likely that I'll be cancelling this year's trip.
  20. My trip from early April for a month is in now uncertain. NZ just announce all incoming passengers to self isolate for 14 days. So it might affect my flight back. This will cost me dearly as all my flights (Buenos Aires, RJ, PA, BH and SP) and hotels are booked and paid for. Most are not refundable or incur heavy loses. Travel insurance does not cover coronavirus related events. Will see how it goes in a week or so. Also from the looks of it, Brazil will be locked down in coming weeks and saunas (my main attractions) might be affected.
  21. I thought "morbo" means Morbidly Obese. Maybe he is a chubby chaser?
  22. I meant private shower outside of the suites. Current Lagoa has 2 by the gym/pool. Fragata as one (semi private).
  23. I hope they have at least 1 private shower cubicle.
  24. I thought Club Rainbow has GPs ... Didn't check it out when I was in SP last month.
  25. Yeah, definately doesn't look like that.
