I too have been going to Thailand for the last 10 years, but have not hired boys for the last 3 years, and it's rare that I hookup with guys from grindr there, perhaps because my type has changed. What I enjoy most these days in Thailand is the 5 star hotel services, spa, massage and the food. They are still very good value for the price. Dear all, I am reporting live from the gayly proud city of CDMX. I arrived in CDMX today for the pride weekend. Many taxis and Ubers put rainbow stickers on windshields, it's such a heart warming gesture, St. Rigis' hotel has rainbow color light up the building front, they don't mind I am gay, so I cried and cried. Zona Rosa is still packed as usual. Hot gogo's inside bars dancing sweats off, cute and horny Latinos hanging outside and form a street party till the sun goes up, all slim toned smooth shining bodies eager, horny and willing to meet new guys..Club hosts all speak English and are super friendly to me. I am happy now, so you should be happy too.

I guess I am not there yet. I mean I understand some people have the need for companionship. But unless I have already bonded with a GP in some way(which is not easy for me), I would not want a stranger staying with me 24 hours a day for several days. And because I would be responsible for all expense, I would have to budget it: no pricey meals(e.g. the Spot in SP), no alcohol or going to bars, no pricey entertainment(concerts, night clubs, no *the Week*). Plus, I would be tired of fucking the same guy multiple times in a row. Finally, I recall I always requested two beds at the hotel when I traveled with my ex(s) because I prefer sleep alone(even after sex).

Plus cost of all drinks, entertainments and gifts.

I don't like eating out alone either, but I am too lazy to cook, not to mention grocery shopping in Brazil (I am talking about very long waiting in lines at crowded grocery stores). I concur the previous poster about the por kilo restaurants. You go in, grab a plate and gather the food you want on your plate, then pay and eat (or take it home). They are usually inexpensive. I find this work well for me since I don't have to read menus, order and wait for the food alone at the restaurants.
