  1. Was the cute Chilean Nicholas by any chance? Very fond memories of Nicholas from last July.
  2. To answer the original question posed you can have success any night. I have had great fun in “quiet “ nights. It only takes one to make an evening!
  3. Yes you did! Thank you! Brazil in December. Here I come! Specifically Lagoa here I come!
  4. The Brazilian Consulate in Sydney has now updated its website ( written in convoluted English) and the visa requirement takes effect from 10 January.
  5. This is encouraging news. The Brazilian Consulate in Sydney still has 1 October as the starting point but hopefully will be deferred.
  6. After writing this I put Brazil visa rumours into google and I came across a blog for Newland Chase ( a CIBT company) CIBT is the visa company I rang in Sydney. They state that there is an indication that Brazilian immigration will extend the 1 October start date. This however is not official.
  7. Where did you hear this? There is nothing to this effect on the Brazilian Consulate Sydney website. You can’t ring them for information and visiting their office is discouraged. I rang the largest visa service company here in Sydney and they do not know if the consulate will accept applications from service agencies such as themselves when the system starts on 1 October. They told me they have no information. Hopeless.
  8. I’m travelling to Brazil in December. I just looked at the Brazilian Sydney Consulate website and the visa process looks like a bureaucratic nightmare. Amongst (many) other things you are required to submit a statutory declaration as to cities you are visiting and the scope of your activities in each city. Oh dear.
  9. I’m not so sure. São Paulo has the largest number of people of Japanese extraction of any city outside Japan.
  10. A general observation. Things appear to be looking up in São Paulo.
  11. Thank you. Very much appreciated.
  12. Go to Thermas. You will get plenty of action!
  13. I’m confused. Do they provide a happy ending, yes or no?
  14. I was there last week. Wonderful memories of Nicholas from Chile. A sweetheart.
  15. It’s very good to read these positive reports about Lagoa. Sounds like old times!
  16. In so far as I can decipher this comment it is unnecessary rudeness.
  17. A very encouraging report.
  18. My thoughts exactly about São Paulo over Rio. Mind you my view is coloured by the fact I was once mugged in Rio but have been to São Paulo 9 times unscathed. I have not visited since Lagoa moved. Can you give me your thoughts on the “new” Lagoa and how it compares with the old?
  19. The likely new Prime Minister is cute.
  20. A very positive report.
  21. Visit the rent boy saunas in Rio and São Paulo. You will think you have died and gone to heaven.
  22. What were the boys wearing at Dreamboy and Hotmale?
  23. Anyone who would drive in Thailand deserves a medal for courage. Courage if nothing else.
  24. In the past, the old location, the security guard would hail a taxi from what would appear to have been a rank down the street or a passing taxi. I never had dramas with haggling over the tariff when I reached my hotel.
  25. A question. One of the joys of the old Lagoa was the security outside who were very obliging at organising a taxi. Do they do this at the new location?
