The night market has now fully explanded from Surawong to Silom with the final third nearest Silom given over to mostly food stalls and outdoor restaurant seating. And the routine of erecting and disassembling occurs daily.

Goings

The Paddy Field, a long time sports bar adjacent to Foodland, has closed its doors. It had a strong following among UK and Aussie football and rugby fans but most have migrated to the larger Shenanigans on Surawong. I liked it because it offered a great perch to observe the entrance to Dream Boy whose performers could be found lounging outside during breaks.

Also gone is the BarBar on Patpong 2 whose barker was famous for slapping a stick and proclaiming “S and M.” And it seems the adjacent lady bar may have also closed. Would not be surprised if there are already plans in works for the space.

Also making an exit—if forecasters are to believed—will be the excessive heat with decreasing temperatures and welcome rain predicted to kick off monsoon season.

Coffee Grinder Cafe 2 doors from Tawan looks very classy indeed and is sporting prominently gay flag

Toilet at Moonlight renovated and now, as sign of mixed clientele, there are mens and ladies rooms, e carefully, men's are to the left and ladies to the right where toilets were before. 

Pizza at Madrid at new location maintains usual high standard. 

Screboys opened indeed but only peeked inside, did not seem to be crowded at midnight , Mamasan the same and so is type of boys on the stage.

Went to Jupiter last night and during parade dawned on me that It,s s historical moment. All, and absolutely all,  were suitable to be offed by me. Never had it before in any bar - 100% approval rate. So I decided to reap that harvest, offed one  of them, true to Jupiter form, mixed blessing. Great body and performance, at the same time greedy and visibly wanting to finish business off ASAP. Back to square one feeling for me after 2 last offs on previous trips very satisfactory. Nice to be back home I guess. But on man's esthetics absolutely Jupiter was a treat. 

Thing I noticed during 3 walks , while very sober looking during first, quite a few client directed miles on last, certainly to increase chances of offing. Few boys were offed right after first year walk, on third at least 1/ 3 if not more did not have a tag meaning thay were booked already. I feel sorry for 86, who was sitting with Chinese lady all time I was there and still appeared numbered on last walk. Hope she tipped him nicely for his troubles 

 

Tawan is broadening it, s offer. Yesterday 20-25 guys in stable, from overweight and overfed veteans to at least 5 new twinks, not to mention 2 I saw already before. So all members who run by screaming now may consider checking offer. For show  bar packed yesterday although I, m of impression I was only Farang in audience. 

In house massage charge now 900 for the bar plus tip so it sounds it will be half price to off masseur and have it in the room. 

G,Bangkok restaurant in soi 4 has schnitzel Thursday. Great offer  1 piece with garnishing 199. They got hooked on the offer. There are several options for more hungry. 

Do not leave exchanging money to the evenig, at least 2 places reduced rates after dark, not much difference on small amount but it may grow up if you need to exchange more. 

Visited Screboys yesterday with another member right after they opened for a night. At least 16 boys on duty already. All twinky but some bit better built. At least 3  offable for me, #26 looked the best and was subject of  vinapu tuck of 100 baht note. Did not show, any resistance. Boys in boxers, most bareceted, drink 350

Then went upstairs to Freshboys, right in time for show to begin. At least 20 boys on duty, best looking shockingly also #26. At least 6 acceptable for possible off. Show progressive, simulated sex but cock certainly not simulated, stimulated, possibly by machine, for sure though.

While eating at Shenanigans on Surawong (corner Patpong One), waitress who remembered us from now closed Paddy Field (next to Foodland) stopped by table to say hello. Paddy. Field was run by same manager of popular Shenanigans.

One of the classic lady bars of Patpong Two, Black Pagoda, appears to have closed. It was the only venue with a bridge that spanned the soi.

Passed Screw Boy at 11:12 last night and it seemed that the entire stable (sans those serving customers inside or those who’d been already offed) were lounging around outside after show. It was an impressive and lively group.

These Bangkok Go Go bars seem to be very very busy unlike  their Pattaya counterparts 

Moonlight on Wed just before show about 1/2 full, quite a few new and attractive at that, boys. New model Jack not nervous anymore. Did not stay for the show because  guy I wanted to off was there, decided to grab him and run. 

Thursday morning some idiot left his phone at Foodland. That idiot  was me. It pays to be loyal and well known customer as when returned soon after realizing my day pack is somewhat light they waved at me smiling. So did I, no doubt.

Seems plenty were offed as can, t believe that many were no shows. Unfortunately none of those left appealed to my heart and upon entry I had at least 6 in mind as possible offs so it looks it was good evening for their boys.

Friday evening Tawan  bar packed for the show at 10.30.had few, Ok, four, boys sitting with me and one of them noticed that i'm only one of three farangs in audience.

Show included ,ahem, special show ,passive was one of their  twinks  of whom I counted six including original one ,Mas. Again I think it's friendliest bar of them all, BananaClub ,surprisingly perhaps considering fearsome Lucy is mamasaning there  being second.

Unlikely that a gay bar will ever take over.

There used to be a Japanese fast food restaurant Volcano Ramen next to Shennagins and now it's been replaced by a cannabis joint.

Cannabis shops popping up everywhere. While walking on Sukhumvit Soi 11 Sunday night, carts offering cannabis seemed  almost as frequent as food carts. I think this craze must be peaking.
