  1. And also, over time, Vietnamese, Lao, Thai and Myanmar acquaintances who I value. It's possible they all just see me as a walking wallet but I'm fond of many of them regardless. They have added to my life since my English bf died of alcoholism 16 years ago.
  2. And Raya has the rear car park lift. I know a member said recently reception didn't bother about bringing a man back but I like to be sure that the guy's id won't be an issue. Feeling poorer these days I tend to stay at 56 Surawong now.
  3. I have often gone to the door of Freshboys and paid 500bt off fee to take a lad out. There was a period when it was 800bt to take out a waiter. I don't know the current situation. Many times a lad I want to meet has said he isn't going to work there but to give him the 500bt off fee and he will give to the bar. Maybe the bar sometimes wants to try to be more strict about popular men in the show. I think I would resist sudden price increases.
  4. "Shier" is also used, particularly in American English.
  5. As said above it stops promptly in Bangkok but continues in Pattaya. In Bangkok it can start the evening of the 12th when the official start date is 13th.
  6. Once a hotel in Pattaya gave the wrong id back to my guest. We were 30 miles away before he noticed this. So I advise our friends to always check a hotel has returned the correct id.
  7. 56 Surawong as it doesn't ask for id of men we bring back. Also lower rooms at the back of Tarntawan have a view of a wall. But Tarntawan can be quieter as it's further away from the road.
  8. They will come back with you. They're used to that. A Bolt taxi is cheap and quick.
  9. So lads who turn up at 7.30pm are gambling that they won't get an off but value the 200bt. I thought the latest they can arrive at Freshboys is 21.59. Does anyone know?
  10. Having been a daily tipper I have now moved to more random tipping. For me daily tipping can have the disadvantage that the staff want to do the room when I'm in it, while I prefer they do it while I'm out.
  11. I read that astrology, spirits and auspicious dates matter more but western ideas about 13 have reached there.
  12. I'm not that bothered about football but these prices are outrageous. 2018 FIFA World Cup 2026 bid (United 2026) proposed in terms of ticket pricing (as captured in bid documentation and analyses) Proposed bid prices (2018): Group stage Category 3 (mid‑range) suggested ~ $174 for non‑opener games Category 3 suggested ~ $320 for the opening match Round of 16 and beyond Suggested prices increased proportionally (e.g., ~ $160–$170 for Cat 3 Round of 16) Final suggested ~ $550–$600 for Cat 3, ~ $990 for Cat 1 So current 2026 ticket pricing diverges sharply from the 2018 bid estimates.
  13. I had the first Mpox vaccine yesterday at an NHS sexual health clinic in Manchester UK. Easy to get an appointment. I need to have the second one in a month. The clinic also said next time I can have the meningitis vaccine which gives some protection against gonorrhoea. As I go to bed with a lot of go go men I will have everything I'm offered.
  14. I didn't fully quote their 'high value data fields' in section 4 of the link below: The high value data fields include: a. Telephone numbers used in the last five years; b. Email addresses used in the last ten years; c. IP addresses and metadata from electronically submitted photos; d. Family member names (parents, spouse, siblings, children); e. Family number telephone numbers used in the last five years; f. Family member dates of birth; g. Family member places of birth; h. Family member residencies; i. Biometrics—face, fingerprint, DNA, and iris; j. Business telephone numbers used in the last five years; k. Business email addresses used in the last ten years. They are asking for comments: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/12/10/2025-22461/agency-information-collection-activities-revision-arrival-and-departure-record-form-i-94-and
  15. Not just the social media. I don't have a record of all my phone numbers so I can't go to USA. 'In a notice published on Tuesday, the US Customs and Border Protection agency (CBP) said it would also require any telephone numbers used by visitors over the same period, and any email addresses used in the last decade, as well as face, fingerprint, DNA and iris biometrics. It would also ask for the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members, including children.'
