I've off'd men for several days to take them on a trip and paid them 4,000bt a day and paid all expenses. The bar gets the off fee - often around 500bt a day. That's for hanging out all the time. Personally I wouldn't try to negotiate less than that for 24 hours of their company. Some men have another job (eg daytime massage) so we could negotiate about that if they want to do the other job. I've always enjoyed it but, being old, I find young men sleep a lot.

Or is the land border still closed except for Cambodians returning to Cambodia? Do you know of Cambodian people being able to enter Thailand by land in recent weeks?

Is it the case that if Cambodian people arrive by air in Thailand they get 60 days visa exempt but only 7 days if they arrive by land?

I don't know if it's still the case but a Freshboys waiter told me a while ago that the money we leave in the folder is divided amongst the waiters at the end of each night and is often a useful sum on a decent night. Obviously money we put on top of the folder goes to the individual, as everywhere in Thailand. I often ask the Mamasan to change a 1000 note to hundreds to give the men I like.

I agree with this. In Thailand's go go bars a boy is any male working on stage, even if they are 40+. In the West a boy is a male aged zero to about 18.

From the airport I go to Makkasan, walk to Phetchaburi MRT station via the bridge over the main road (5 mins) and get the MRT to Silom

It's on Patpong 2, nearer to Silom Road than Surawong Road, and it's open 24 hours, as is the supermarket it's attached to.

Indeed, though in my case he had just earned 24,000 bt in 6 days so he was able to feel more flexible. And I like to show a man a good time.
