  1. So lads who turn up at 7.30pm are gambling that they won't get an off but value the 200bt. I thought the latest they can arrive at Freshboys is 21.59. Does anyone know?
  2. Having been a daily tipper I have now moved to more random tipping. For me daily tipping can have the disadvantage that the staff want to do the room when I'm in it, while I prefer they do it while I'm out.
  3. I read that astrology, spirits and auspicious dates matter more but western ideas about 13 have reached there.
  4. I'm not that bothered about football but these prices are outrageous. 2018 FIFA World Cup 2026 bid (United 2026) proposed in terms of ticket pricing (as captured in bid documentation and analyses) Proposed bid prices (2018): Group stage Category 3 (mid‑range) suggested ~ $174 for non‑opener games Category 3 suggested ~ $320 for the opening match Round of 16 and beyond Suggested prices increased proportionally (e.g., ~ $160–$170 for Cat 3 Round of 16) Final suggested ~ $550–$600 for Cat 3, ~ $990 for Cat 1 So current 2026 ticket pricing diverges sharply from the 2018 bid estimates.
  5. I had the first Mpox vaccine yesterday at an NHS sexual health clinic in Manchester UK. Easy to get an appointment. I need to have the second one in a month. The clinic also said next time I can have the meningitis vaccine which gives some protection against gonorrhoea. As I go to bed with a lot of go go men I will have everything I'm offered.
  6. I didn't fully quote their 'high value data fields' in section 4 of the link below: The high value data fields include: a. Telephone numbers used in the last five years; b. Email addresses used in the last ten years; c. IP addresses and metadata from electronically submitted photos; d. Family member names (parents, spouse, siblings, children); e. Family number telephone numbers used in the last five years; f. Family member dates of birth; g. Family member places of birth; h. Family member residencies; i. Biometrics—face, fingerprint, DNA, and iris; j. Business telephone numbers used in the last five years; k. Business email addresses used in the last ten years. They are asking for comments: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/12/10/2025-22461/agency-information-collection-activities-revision-arrival-and-departure-record-form-i-94-and
  7. Not just the social media. I don't have a record of all my phone numbers so I can't go to USA. 'In a notice published on Tuesday, the US Customs and Border Protection agency (CBP) said it would also require any telephone numbers used by visitors over the same period, and any email addresses used in the last decade, as well as face, fingerprint, DNA and iris biometrics. It would also ask for the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members, including children.'
  8. I'll give that a miss: 'It can cause heart rhythm collapse even in healthy people (“sudden sniffing death”). Risks include loss of consciousness, falls, burns from the cold spray, and long-term brain or nerve damage.'
  9. A handful of cases in Thailand as a whole currently so fairly safe in Bangkok but there is no widely available approved mpox vaccine distributed in the country. The Australian experience showed cases jump from about 26 in 2023 to about 1400 in 2024 so it can move fast once it gets going.
  10. In the UK there is a new push of the Mpox vaccine by STI clinics as there is a new strain of it. Total cases in Thailand 2022 to mid 2024: 827; in UK total cases 2022 to Oct 2025: 4,358. So less risk in Thailand than UK.
  11. I don't think we can search regions but we can search specific cities/towns anywhere. If we're not paying then we can only save the occasional one as a favourite but it can save time when we get there.
  12. Smaller, plenty of men so you will probably like someone, a bit less twinky, drinks same price, well worth a look
  13. My advice is to look in all directions on Bangkok's major roads. I have seen three accidents at that part of Surawong near the night market. My lucky escape was noticing a truck reversing on Silom as I crossed.
  14. On Grindr in Bangkok in October I was usually being asked for 1000, 1200, 2000 bt for short time. Agree some try for more.
  15. Thank you, Jason. This may also apply to people from Laos and Myanmar. Since few Thai men want to work in the go go bars this begs the question about the future of those bars. So I'm sad as I'm fond of many men from all these countries who work there. But things can u-turn fast in Thailand (eg cannabis; alcohol 2-5pm).
