  1. Indeed, though in my case he had just earned 24,000 bt in 6 days so he was able to feel more flexible. And I like to show a man a good time.
  2. After taking a man for two 3 night trips away from Bangkok and paying him 4,000 bt a day I was ready to spend some time alone. He asked if I would like to continue taking him at 2,000 bt a day (plus the bar fine for the bar of course). I didn't continue with him but we parted on good terms and I have taken him off since. I'm not suggesting driving their price down but I'm sure they look at the entire package we're offering eg. Are we going somewhere interesting and fun and having a good time? Are we easy going in the room and let them sleep when they want? Do we involve them in decisions about what we're doing and where we're eating?
  3. Yes I visited 4 times a year until covid put a gap in it. I reckon I have spent about $300,000 in 15 years but what memories. Armed yellow shirts in Bangkok stopping my taxi before the coup in 2014. BBB Inn on Rama IV with handsome Vietnamese men. Vegetarian Festival in Ranong - tranced dancers and bloody devotees who skewer their faces and bodies. A hamlet 50 km from Chiang Mai with boars, pigs, hens and a bird that kept saying LIVERpool. I tried to teach it to say MANchester but it wouldn't learn. A walk at 4am in Au Nang and inviting a farmer man sat on the pavement to a women host bar. The beautiful young man in Tawandang disco in Udon Thani. And then there are the men, from Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam!
  4. Yes, try Boyztown. Get Bolt app on phone for fast travel back from Boyztown to Jomtien with man. Agate is fine. I always book room for two, though alone. Consider East Suites for larger rooms.
  5. Thank you for the correction. I am sorry to hear that.
  6. To make a start. Jomtien: twinks at all of M Bar and Gus Bar, in Sunnee at Winner Bar, in Boyztown at Toy Boys, mostly gay is my impression. There are many more bars to describe, all of which are worth a look.
  7. I used fast track on June 5th at BKK as an over 70.
  8. The difference is small but exists. I was there a week ago. 12000 baht cost me £280.58, with no conversion, using Starling bank card at atm in Bangkok. So 42.77 per pound GBP. At X1 on Surawong I would get 43.90. The difference is 2.66%. So an extra £2.66 per £100 changed. The atm charges 220 baht fee so that makes changing cash at the best place in BKK (X1 on Surawong) a slightly better option. Not worth walking far in the rain though.
  9. I have emailed similar items to hotel receptions in the past and they have always printed it, either free or for very modest cost.
  10. Not my thing but I would ask the mamasans who would bottom. I think there would be enough.
  11. He was not cute. I have no idea what crime I was reporting. If this happens to you please know that the Thai Criminal Code says Section 397 addresses actions that cause embarrassment or annoyance to another person, like unwanted touching or invasion of personal space so please report it to nearest police officer. Alternatively, don't bother, lol.
  12. Another story from the past. Once I wanted to report a crime and popped into a police station I was passing in central Thailand. I wrote out the details in English in capital letters. The police officer suggested coming to my hotel nearby. I assumed he wanted more details of the crime. He arrived in my room but every time I turned round, about three times, he fingered my arse. I didn't fancy him so made some excuse to get him to leave. I know we Caucasians are exotic and white (sorry, a sort of beige off pink colour) but ??. TiT.
  13. I was alone that night so things were simpler. My UK friend was asleep in the hotel. It was in the era when I went to dj a lot and never went to go go bars. A lot cheaper.
  14. One way they remember me at Silom Soi 2 (dj station) is that, some years ago, I slipped on a greasy slope there, smashed the beer bottle on the floor and needed stitches. Four staff were immediately on the case, fetching plasters to try, stemming the wound, finding staff member with motorbike. Four minutes later I was in Chulalongkorn Hospital A&E with 2 women pouring water on the wound. A young doctor arrives to see me. An anaesthetic injection in my thumb and some stitches later - 1500bt.
  15. My last few nights in Bangkok I wasn't feeling 100% so I didn't take anyone back to the hotel. But at the end of a trip I always have a mental list of which men have treated me right and deserve an off or a bigger than usual tip. I took the Myanmar man, who is good at kissing, out from Good Boys (GB) to see Dreamboys, which he hadn't been to before, and he seemed to like that. He was surprised the hotel wasn't on my agenda afterwards. I know taking the men to another go go bar can be boring if they have been around for a while but can be ok if it's new to them. One of my favourite Vietnamese men in GB had asked me to take him again to the 'dance place' (Silom Soi 2) so I took him and his cousin, who hadn't been there before. On Sunday night it was quieter than I expected but I prefer that to it being jammo these days. If anyone is new to that Soi customers do need a passport, either on their phone or real to prove their age - over 20 last time I checked. Even I was checked the first time I went and I was 59 but they seem to know me now. And I never went, in this trip, to Silom Soi 4, or Hotmale or Jupiter or Banana. But I have been to all of those multiple times before and they're all worth a look. On Tuesday my flight from BKK to DOH was at 21.05. At 17.00 the rain was heavy so I ordered a Bolt taxi, not wanting to stand on Surawong getting drenched while trying to flag down a cab. Bolt arrived about 17.25 but Bangkok was traffic locked down at rush hour in the storm and it took 2 hours to get to BKK. Starting early was the right decision. BKK is a good airport and I was in the lounge in the new terminal with a farewell red wine in 40 minutes. Again using the e-gate so no exit stamp. Goodbye BKK for about the 56th time in 14 years.
