A Haitian-American Miami restauranteur was interviewed on the news yesterday regarding the loss of temporary protection status for Haitian immigrants in the US. Has donOLD stated how vandals were able to cut a 300 foot slit in the Reflecting Pool? The pool is 18" deep along the perimeter and 30" deep near the center. Did the vandals snorkel or scuba? Or, maybe they had box cutters on the soles or tips of their shoes. I can't imagine someone stooping down as they walked a distance of 300 feet through the pool cutting a slit with a handheld box cutter.
