I loved your review as I am planning a first time trip to Tokyo in July. I've been checking out hotels and locations and found your comments on Airbnb to be very helpful.🙏

That's what my google maps call it. My very 1st massage ever and I went to Senso for it. Because it was the closest one to my hotel. The guy with the iPad said 3100 baht for 1 hour and it was 5000 something baht for 1 and a half hours. I chose the one hour and they were all lined up in front of me. I picked a guy out of the line but he wasn't the one that went to the room with me. Turns out, it didn't really matter because the guy that went with me was really good. The fun was good and then he washed me down at the end. No complaints from me. I think the guy I picked may have had a customer already so they share it around there.

Coincidently, I walked past this bar yesterday while I was out exploring. It was early afternoon and it was stinking hot. I noticed the gay flag out the front and decided to take a snap after I had walked past. It was pretty rustic looking from the outside. *the site is struggling at the moment and can't attach the pic. I'll try again later.

So, I'm as incorrect and google AI is incorrect. Of course you're the only one here that is largely correct. Sure! AI Overview In the North of England, the main evening meal is commonly called tea. While many in the South refer to this meal as "dinner," Northerners typically refer to their midday meal as "dinner" and their evening meal (eaten around 5-6 pm) as "tea". Reddit +4 Regional Usage: The term "tea" for the evening meal is strongly associated with the North, lower-middle, or working classes. Meal Structure: In this context, "tea" is a substantial, hot, cooked meal.

I was born in England. Asian there generaly refers to people from Pakistan and Countries around that area. If someone was to say or refer to an Oriental gentleman they would be talking about China or around that area. Australia, Asians are Chinese or people around that area. The evening meal in England was called Tea and the meal during the day was called dinner. Australia, midday is lunch and evening meal is dinner. Can you imagine trying to learn English as your 2nd language?🫣😁

I agree, his behaviour is off the charts.... especially for someone of his age.

I stayed at the Quarter when it was Siri Sathorn about 15 years ago. Back then, the room I stayed had a kitchen a lounge room and a seperate bedroom. Breakfast was amazing and the guy in charge who kept the place clean and tidy would say 'good morning' to you by your name. It sure was an enjoyable experience staying at Siri Sathorn (Quarter) back then.

Yellow journalism/demonizing a community, or legitimate news story?

I was in Hong Kong in August 2025, I also enjoyed Soda sauna. Very clean and busy with locals on Saturdays and Sundays.

I visited before covid and I was amazed of the bravery of the handlers.

I didn't notice anything like that was available. What I did notice was that they had a young man in the locker room that will help you find your locker. This is really helpful when you come in from the daylight into a dark locker room.

Some days, it turns out that you can be in the right place at the right time. The tour guide was having a day off and decided to go to P6. I was the only caucasian there and the only middle aged, hairy and overweight daddy. The opposite to this young man who was very confident and charming, masculine and tall, lean and extremely handsome. (think K-pop). I was just being polite and happy to chat with someone that could speak English. I had no idea at the time that he had daddy issues and wanted to fuck me. He offered to show me around, we found a vacant room and there he proceeded to put a very big smile on this old man's face.

I can recommend P6 sauna. It is very clean and inexpensive. They even give you a free bottle of water included with the entrance price. I found some of the locals there to be very friendly even though their English wasn't so very good. They would apoligise for their poor English. I would laugh and say your English is much better than my Vietnamese. I managed to hook up with a tour guide that looked like a K-pop boyband singer.

The term 'No worries' is a very popular phrase I hear all over...... when I'm travelling.

I booked with Airbnb. The apartments seem to be individually privately owned and are managed by various receptions on the Ground floor. The building is like a vertical holiday apartment building. If you take someone to your room, you will need to go down and get them. The place is so busy with people checking in and checking out, you will not be noticed. The beach is a 2 minute walk and everything else you need is close by.
